The reason for being established by "one" is that it is established by "one knowing all liberation," because by understanding one dharma, one can liberate from all of samsara and nirvana. The way of liberation is: by recognizing in the nature of reality, one can liberate all appearances and consciousness. For example, knowing many tastes as one taste, once the taste of one salt is determined, the taste of all salts is determined; or like knowing one brown sugar and one fire, one can understand everything. As it is said in the Bodhicitta Commentary: "The nature of fire is heat, the nature of brown sugar is sweetness, similarly all dharmas, in the nature of emptiness are one." Just like this. Therefore, these five ways of liberation are not applicable to the same person, but according to the difference of faculties, each person liberates according to their preference. Third, summarizing the five ways of liberation with five statements: Here, these five ways of liberation are independent, because they are self-liberation, so they do not depend on the view, meditation, and conduct of the object of focus. All conditions are liberated by conditions, just as washing dirt with dirt, bad conditions are liberated by bad conditions, and thus appear as a companion of wisdom; original purity is liberated by original purity, and awareness is liberated by awareness. Primordial liberation does not depend on the union of grasping and the grasped, therefore, all objects are liberated by objects, like neutralizing poison with poison; immediate liberation does not depend on samsara and nirvana, therefore, cause is liberated by cause, like cutting iron with iron; ultimate liberation does not depend on the words of terminology, therefore, dharma is liberated by dharma, like the fire born from wood burning the wood itself; one liberation does not depend on the wisdom of liberation, therefore, the nature of mind is liberated by mind, like breaking stones with stones. As it is said in the Pearl Garland: "All conditions are liberated by conditions, I do not depend on the dharma of focus. All objects are liberated by objects, I do not depend on the grasper and the grasped. Cause itself is liberated by cause, I do not depend on samsara and nirvana. Dharma is liberated by dharma, I do not depend on the words of terminology. The nature of mind itself is liberated by mind, I do not depend on the indicative wisdom. Just as washing dirt with dirt, so purity is liberated by purity. Poison is pacified by poison, like iron cutting iron, like stone striking stone, wood burns wood itself."

Like being burned by fire, one's own enemies are created by oneself; liberation does not come from being of a different race. Thus it is said. Moreover, because everything is complete in awareness, without any omission of the key point, when awareness is liberated, all phenomena are liberated, just as when the foundation collapses, the dependent phenomena also collapse. Self-liberation, self-dissolution, and open expanse in the dharmadhatu, as it is said: Therefore, in the ground-abiding awareness, because it is self-arisen, appearance is complete. Because it is self-originated, the ground itself is complete. Because it is self-appearing, the objects are also complete. Because it is self-liberated, the basis of delusion is complete. Because it is self-pure, all paths are complete. Because it is self-aware, the knowable is complete. Because it is self-pervading, the result is complete. Because it is self-ground, cause and condition are complete. Because it is self-realized, the nature of phenomena is complete. Because it is self-reversed, samsara and nirvana are complete. Because it is self-abiding, the tantras and agamas are complete. Because it is self-complete, it is complete in one moment. Because it is self-knowing, the pith instructions are complete. Because it is self-established, meditation is complete. Because it is self-inherent, the dharmadhatu is complete. Thus it is said. Thus, the awareness that is complete and liberated is primordially pure from the beginning, so it is without defilement. Because it is the mind, the continuum is exhausted. The single great bliss is beyond words, thought, and expression. Primordially pure, the emptiness (藏文:ཟང་ཀ, Zang Ka) and the purity of what has substance (藏文:རྡོས་བཅས). In general, it is not tainted by the projections of appearance, samsara, and nirvana. Phenomena are exhausted, movement is pacified, beyond matter and awareness. It is the very Buddha abiding in the original ground. As the "String of Pearls" says: Emaho! The dharmakaya of the self-perfected Great Perfection, is pure from the beginning, so defilements are exhausted. Because it arises first, the continuum is exhausted. Because it is separate from the moon, it is beyond calculation. There is no cause for suffering, it is great bliss. There is no cause for expression, it is beyond words and thought. From the beginning, it is self-awareness, completely pure. Because outflows are exhausted, it is not with substance. Because things are exhausted, it abides in emptiness. There is no increase by two, it is the very nature. Because it is separate from phenomena, it is beyond means. Because it is without conceptualization, movement is pacified. Matter and awareness are non-dual, the two accumulations are complete. There is no rival, it is naturally abiding. There are no fabricated words, it pervades all. There is no thinking mind, it is free from memory. It is the very suchness, the original state. It is unmade, supreme, truly abiding. Thus it is said. Thus, all external appearances, including the internal body and mind, are empty, realizing the clear appearance like the moon in water, mastering the skill, those whose awareness is stable in the meaning like the sky, because phenomena are exhausted, appearance and bod
