Remaining in its place means without fabrication. Thus, body, speech, and mind relax into their natural state, and the mind itself rests in its natural state, which is called liberation. Moreover, it remains in that state permanently, surpassing the common vehicles. An example of primordial liberation is like an Ālīka fruit that is already ripe, and there is no need for it to ripen further. There are three aspects of primordial liberation: the understanding of primordial liberation, the validity of establishing it, and the manner of liberation. The understanding of primordial liberation is that it is not something sudden, but rather it has been liberated from the beginning. Therefore, the key point is that there is no need to liberate it again, because awareness itself has never been deluded. There are three aspects to the validity of establishing primordial liberation: validity through reasoning, validity through scripture, and validity through logic. Validity through reasoning is that the key point of awareness itself being liberated from the beginning is that awareness has no basis, so there is no place to return to; it has no root, so there is no place to arise from; it has no characteristics, so it cannot be determined; and it has no birth, so there is no need for liberation. Furthermore, as a sign of being primordially liberated, no characteristics are seen through any meditation or practice. This is also validated by the reasoning of no traces of cause and effect. Since awareness has no continuum, there is no result, and karma and its maturation are impossible. Validity through scripture is as follows: From "Meaningful Exertion": "The mind itself, primordially liberated, how could there be external conditions for liberation?" Thus. Validity through logic is established through the logic of entrustment, disappearance, reliance, and abiding. Entrustment is primordially liberated, so it is liberated in its own place, because it is primordially liberated. Furthermore, it is known to be primordially liberated because the mind has no place of origin, no place of dwelling, and no place of going. The manner of liberation is that the mind is empty, so it is called liberation, or it cannot be labeled as not liberated, so as a sign of being primordially liberated, there is no need to liberate it again, because the mind is primordially enlightened. It is known that primordial liberation has no need for liberation. Secondly, relying on the key point that self-liberation has no antidote, the instruction that completely depends on the guru's instructions is as follows: Thus, all phenomena of appearance and sound arise from themselves, and liberation is also self-liberation. For example, like the sky and clouds. Therefore, since it is not like flawed meditation, view, or conduct that relies on external objects,

That which is called "liberation by meaning" refers to the exhaustion of phenomena. Self-liberation has three aspects: the understanding of self-liberation, the reasons for self-liberation, and the manner of liberation. The understanding of self-liberation is: the meaning of having no antidote, that is, appearance itself is self-liberated from appearance. There is no dharma nature other than appearance. Similarly, emptiness and so on, are liberated by themselves, there is nothing separate. For example, it is similar to a drunkard being cured by alcohol, poison being neutralized by poison, iron cutting iron, and so on. Since afflictions themselves are liberated by themselves, it is called self-liberation. There are three reasons for establishing self-liberation: established by reason, established by scripture, and established by logic. Established by reason is: established by the reason of dharma nature, because all liberation is self-liberation, it is not established as being liberated by others. If it were liberated by others, it would be like it is impossible for one object to appear as different forms. The nature of an object is determined by the object itself. Established by scripture is: In the Mind Section, it says: "Liberation is self-born, not from others." Established by logic is: Great self-liberation is established and reasonable with irrefutable logic. Thus, appearance is self-liberated because it does not depend on other antidotes. The manner of liberation is: there is nothing other than oneself liberating oneself. In other scriptures, it is also said: Those with desire are liberated by making desire the path, and so on. As it is said in the Hevajra Tantra: "Just as fire burns things, warm it with the same fire." Appearance is the very liberation of appearance itself. There is no other cause or condition for liberation other than appearance. Therefore, it is liberated without a basis, without a support for abiding, without a foundation, it is the nature of mind without a foundation. In the Guhyagarbha Tantra, it says: "This mind nature without a foundation, is neither male nor female nor neuter, is not color, not form, not sign, not lineage." Because there is no place to turn back other than itself, there is no place to go, it has never been born. There is no place from where it came, because there is no other dharma separate from itself, it is called self-liberation. For example, like a snake's knot that unties itself without anyone untying it. Finished.
