Therefore, the order of practicing the three bodies, mainly focusing on the merits of arising, especially practicing the sounds of earth, water, fire, and wind, will surely be accomplished. This is an explanation of the order of practicing the four-sound yoga. The second point, from the same source: If one cannot distinguish the difference between samsara and nirvana, then the body, speech, and mind of the three realms will not be able to sever the connection. Therefore, the distinction between samsara and nirvana is explained. As stated in the "Teaching Son Sutra": Those fortunate ones who wish to enter into such profound secret meanings, first, in order to dispel attachment to body, speech, and mind, should first begin to practice. As stated in the "Burning Lamp Treatise": After distinguishing the difference between samsara and nirvana, body and speech can abide in their natural state. Therefore, there are three points here, the first point being that one must make the actions of the body abide in their natural state and combine with it. As stated in "Buddha Son One": The body is running and lying down, standing and moving limbs, circling and prostrating, rotating limbs and shaking the head, and any activities of remembrance, transformations of dance and mudras, and any activities of visualization. Like this, whoever does these, the attachment of the body will naturally be cut off, and everything of the body can distinguish between samsara and nirvana, which will transform into a transforming body. As stated in the "Breaking Delusion Sutra": The body is walking and sitting, contracting and various illusion wheels, extending and retracting limbs, showing various modes of action. Manifesting with a mindful mind, the form actions of the six realms of beings, receiving with the mind, and the body practices. Like this, whoever can practice, as thought, will then be able to cut off the continuum. There are two necessities here, measured by the distinction between common and supreme. Therefore, just doing this here, in the future, one will become a Buddha here. As stated in the thirty-second chapter of the "Great Adornment Sutra": Whoever wants to distinguish the difference between samsara and nirvana, for the natural return of the body's actions, where one practices now, it will not be like that later, because that will reverse, and the body will not, abide in the three realms, and the body will not enter. Therefore, when the body is first formed, speech and mind both depend on it to form, so one must first perform the actions of the body. After performing the actions of the body, the body's

Therefore, there is no interest in doing things after exhausting (the ground), and there is a need to purify the sins of the body. In the Wheel of Successive Accumulations it says: Who can distinguish the ru shan (dismemberment) of the body? This exhausts the habits of samsara. Therefore, distinguishing the ru shan of the body, if done for seven days, eleven days, or half a month, the attachment to the external body will naturally subside, the inner body will become peaceful and gentle, and the secret illusory body will surely be liberated into luminosity. After that, in order to abide (in this), if done for three days, eleven days, or seven days, the aggregates and so on will increase, and the body will be united with the nirmāṇakāya. In the Golden Essence Tantra it says: Those who wish to abide (in this) should slowly engage in the activities of the body. This touches the body of the Buddha, and is accomplished especially in a most secret way. Secondly, the practice of distinguishing the speech ru shan is: In the Secret Conduct Seed Tantra it says: Beyond this, begin the activity of speech, mantras and meanings, the sound of the Dharma, existence and non-existence and appearance, intentional words speak of various kinds, various animal sign languages, sounds are various forms, like this, whoever does it, the manifest attachment of speech is naturally cut off, and this distinguishes samsara and nirvana. And in the Abhisamayalankara it says: Thus, when the signs and degrees are reached, the yogi begins the activity of speech, in order to express the nature of realization, various forms of sound, because what is said cannot be reversed, gods and nāgas and yakshas, gandharvas, flesh-eaters, pervaders, speak of the differences between good and bad. In short, the voices of the six kinds of beings, the thoughts of the mind are expressed in language. Here too there are two necessities, distinguished by the supreme and the common. Therefore, relying on the differences in the expression of language, the continuation of samsara in the three realms is cut off. In the Supreme Empowerment Tantra it says: Those who are fortunate, with the languages corresponding to the six kinds of beings, speak words that correspond to each, cutting off the wheel of the six kinds of beings. The effort initiated in the short time mentioned above, for the extremely diligent, the attachment to that (body) itself subsides, for ordinary people, that (body) itself and all appearances are the same, giving rise to a realization of non-reliance. That (body) is the basis, the mind is the fruit, because the connection between the two is language, therefore the activity of speech is necessarily in the middle, speaking of the different sounds of oneself and others.
