Having the three nadis abide like a straight staff, holding the breath from the two nostrils, like shooting an arrow, it eliminates diseases, demons, and defilements. Like hooking inwards with a lasso, entering from the source of the central channel, focusing the mind on the three nadis and four chakras being filled with the wind of wisdom, the experience of awareness and clarity arises. At the tip of the nose, inhaling white air, from the distance of an arrow-shot to a yojana and krosha, focusing the mind on the two-fold going and returning, the experience of non-conceptual clarity arises. The body becomes a rainbow-like fence of five-colored light, without scattering, without confusion, without breaking, without wavering, focusing the mind on this, the experience of pure luminosity arises. Shooting the wind and mind into the expanse of the sky, visualizing letters, balls of light, or the mandalas of the sun and moon becoming higher and higher, and finally dissolving into space, disappearing from sight, focusing the mind on this state, the experience of emptiness free from conceptual thought arises. Directing the mind to the ear and holding it attentively, the experience of sound meditation arises. Focusing the mind on a subtle deity image within the heart, the experience of pure luminosity arises, and one becomes proficient in the luminosity of the bardo, and deity images, relics, and rainbows appear. Third, the seven branches of demonstrating the seeing of dharmata: Focusing the mind on gradual emptiness, first analyze the many parts of the body, examining them with various names, and even for the head alone, analyze it with various names. When analyzing the meaning of that name, when the meaning dissolves into particles, searching for where the name is, and not finding it, at that time, in the state where emptiness, in which no thought arises in the mind, thoroughly dawns, without searching, anger, or thinking, remaining attentive, the experience of emptiness free from duality arises. Apply the experience of the body as it is to all appearances. Focusing the mind on sudden emptiness, whatever appears, look intently at the appearance, thinking that everything becomes empty and clear. Applying this to all appearances of form, sound, etc., all appearances become like breathing on a mirror. Focusing the mind on impermanence means training in appearances without attachment. Whatever appears, there is no attachment, no truth, it appears in various ways, therefore it is not true, because it is impermanent and constantly changing. Training in this way, the experience of non-attachment arises. Whatever appears of the five elements, maintain awareness, without scattering,
