Or, it follows that the Nirmanakaya is not visible to those to be trained, because the Dharmakaya is not visible. Therefore, the three Kayas are one in essence in terms of wisdom, but it is not acceptable that they are one in essence in terms of appearance. The Nirmanakaya is a part of compassion, so the appearance of the Nirmanakaya is an image Nirmanakaya, not a real Nirmanakaya, because it is not compassion. This distinction of philosophical systems is very subtle, so those with wisdom should analyze and understand it. This is very important. Second, there are three points to explaining the meaning of the present context: a general explanation of the places of the three Kayas, a specific explanation of the place of wisdom, and a summary of the meaning of the places of the five: Kaya, speech, mind, qualities, and activities. First, among the Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya, first, the place of the Dharmakaya is explained in detail, divided into four parts: essence, classification, names, and detailed explanation. The essence of the Dharmakaya is self-arisen wisdom, emptiness and clarity, free from elaboration. It is divided into five aspects: the way of abiding, characteristics, nature, compassion, and appearance. The way of abiding of the essence is abiding without being stained by any faults, so it is the nature of primordial purity. The characteristic of the essence is the essence of emptiness and wisdom. The nature of the essence is unmixed with anything. The compassion of the essence is undivided, non-discriminating, and without separation. The appearance of the essence is non-dual. The definition is: because it matures from imputed and named dharmas into a Kaya, it is non-existent. No characteristic can be determined, and emptiness is not established anywhere, therefore it is called Dharmakaya. Dharma refers to: the uncontaminated Dharma of the Buddha's ground, which is related to wisdom. Kaya refers to: the fact that there are no marks, faces, or hands, but only the unchanging essence of wisdom. Classification: Dharmakaya related to the nature of things and characteristics, Dharmakaya related to the way of abiding and pervasiveness, and Dharmakaya related to the way of appearance. The first is: relative to Dharmata, it is not established in any essence, therefore it is free from the extremes of elaboration. Things are beyond identification, therefore there is no birth, death, change, or transformation. Ultimately manifested, therefore Dharmata is inconceivable. The second is: the Dharmakaya that pervades all of Samsara and Nirvana is the purity that is free from adventitious stains and possesses two purities, as the Hevajra says: "Beings are themselves Buddhas."

Furthermore, it is obscured by adventitious stains. Having removed them, it is the Buddha himself. Thus it is said. In the Uttaratantra, it is said: The complete Buddha body is because of radiating light, and because Suchness is without distinction, because there is the lineage, therefore all sentient beings, always possess the essence of the Tathagata. Thus it is said, this is the part of its manifestation. Third, from each vehicle, the aspects of wisdom, emptiness, qualities, etc., are taught. In this Great Perfection, if divided by emanation: The Dharmakaya's Dharmakaya realm is inconceivable, the place is the nature of reality beyond thought, the samadhi is the great unwavering, the retinue is the diverse non-duality of nature, the teaching is the inexpressible nature of reality, the time is the unchanging nature of reality. The Dharmakaya's Sambhogakaya realm is free from dust and without impurity, the place is the self-exhaustion of memory and mental conception, the samadhi is the cessation of the arising sensations of mind and mental events, so that wisdom abides in its own place, the retinue is the activity of self-appearance of emptiness, the teaching is the complete purification of the object of focus, the time is not conceptualization but the great primordial co-emergent expanse. The Dharmakaya's Nirmanakaya, the realm is emptiness without interruption, the place is the basis of all appearances, the profound and clear self-radiance, the samadhi is unceasing self-illumination, the retinue is the pure appearance of unlimited forms, the teaching is the unconditioned nature, the time is the manifestation of the essence. These are also designated from the aspect of the Dharmakaya of primordial purity self-abiding, as it is said in the Heap of Jewels: The self-purification of grasping is the Dharmakaya, the self-purification without elaboration is the palace, the appearance-wheel is inseparable from oneself, with the signless speech, the words without elaboration, non-abiding self-exhaustion arise from the heart, without speaking, without having spoken, it is shown in the state of great equanimity. Thus it is. These are only designated on the part, in meaning nothing is established, so it abides in the Great Perfection free from extremes. Again, as it says in the same: The place of this is called this place, the object with name known by name, does not appear in any form, from the emptiness of the non-existent Dharmadhatu, in the self-essence of the Great Secret, it abides as the primordial itself, in the state of ungrasped place, it becomes the beginning of the Great Play. From here no one abides, nothing has been made into a place, here there is no perfection, abiding and coming
