When speech is combined with (the consort), it transforms into the nature of speech. Thirdly, when the mind is combined with (the consort), it transforms into the nature of mind. Combining with the body relies on the illusory wheel of the body. Speech is three syllables, and mind is the expansion and contraction of wind. After thus descending, taking it in a mirror with a handle, and causing it to fall into the disciple's mouth with the ring finger, this is to make the ultimate truth and the conventional truth inseparable. Furthermore, as previously stated: It should be drunk in the disciple's mouth, and received with the immortal tongue. Fifteenth, after such empowerment, the measure of the disciple's experience of great bliss arising, free from grasping at objects, is: By squeezing the two branches of the wisdom channel, the experience of unborn recognition and freedom from grasping arises, and an experience arises that cannot be expressed in any way, like a mute's dream. As it says in that very text: This cannot be spoken of, it is just like a mute's dream. Sixteenth, the key to interdependence for making the consort invisible is: the right eye of a black dog, the left eye of a black female jackal, the right eye of an owl, the left eye of a bat, and the right wing tip of a crow, all of which are well mixed together, wrapped in gold to make a pill, and placed in the consort's mouth. When holding a damaru and so on in the hand, the damaru and so on will be seen, but the body will not be seen. Again, as previously stated: If the mudra is seen, there is no accomplishment. Therefore, one should rely on not seeing. Seventeenth, if one does not rely on bliss at the time of empowerment or at other times, then one should offer wealth and send her back to her own country and so on, pleasing her with gold and other valuables, and sending her back to her own place. These are explanations of the difficult points of the third empowerment, which are extremely secret meanings. The second meaning, the establishment of the empowerment of the non-elaborate mandala, is to bestow empowerment relying on the mandala and vase, with letter wheels and verses. This is the secret empowerment of non-elaboration, which is recognized by the purity of speech, letters, and the bliss of squeezing the channels. This has the four complete outer, inner, and secret empowerments. The outer aspect of non-elaboration is to purify with the letters of body, speech, and mind. The inner aspect is the certainty of the vase's position, such as all phenomena being unborn. The secret aspect is that no thing has inherent existence, and so on, symbolizing spontaneous liberation without distinction.

The complete one is that all phenomena are empty and selfless, etc. Reciting the words for realizing these special points is the precious empowerment of words and meanings. These are also stated in the Tantra of the Total Collection: "For the sake of those who are without elaboration and have faith to enter and ripen, the supreme empowerment without elaboration, relying on the mandala and vase, empowerment is bestowed through verses." The third is the empowerment of utter non-elaboration, which is to distinguish between samsara and nirvana, and through symbolic empowerment, the nature of self-awareness, primordial emptiness like the sky, is recognized, thereby bestowing empowerment. This also has four aspects: outer, inner, secret, and complete. First, the outer is to distinguish between samsara and nirvana. The inner is to offer mandalas and make prayers in order to utilize the twenty-five wisdoms. The secret is to enter the door of mind-essence through the four doors of the directions of space. The complete one is to say that space is vast, symbolizing the primordial purity of awareness that transcends thought. These are also stated in the Tantra of the Total Collection: "From utter non-elaboration, distinguish between samsara and nirvana as above and below. At that time, from the nature of space, the obscurations of body, speech, and mind are also, ascertained by their nature. If the conduct is impure, then purify it with virtues that are in accordance with each. Empowerment relies on symbols, so that the self-nature of self-awareness is revealed. The wise combine the explanation of symbols with instructions." The fourth is the empowerment of extreme non-elaboration, which is to adjust the posture of the body and the way of looking, thereby recognizing the self-nature of spontaneously accomplished awareness, and bestowing empowerment. This also has four aspects: outer, inner, secret, and complete. The outer is to show the posture. The inner is to show the way of looking. The secret is to adjust the posture and the way of looking in the four directions, thereby practicing in the pure land of the Buddhas. The complete one is to give the symbolic meaning of words such as "Go!" As it is said in the Tantra of the Total Collection: "In extreme non-elaboration, open the door of the mandala of the mind, first establish the posture of the body, and after becoming accustomed to it, combine it with the way of looking, the manifest awareness is the symbol of the scriptures." The third meaning is that the divisions of such empowerment are threefold: to briefly explain by determining the divisions of the four empowerments, to explain in detail by the divisions of self-nature, and to extensively elaborate by the divisions of various transformations. First, there is the reason for determining the four empowerments, and the ripening of the four
