It should be known as such. Thus it is. Secondly, there are two categories of explanations of the adjuncts of branches: the explanation of the root adjuncts and the explanation of the adjuncts of branches. First, taking the thirty-four root letters as the main focus, since the sounds of ཉ་ (nya) and ཝ་ (wa) are the same, they are combined here into one. When adding an adjunct, ཉ་ (nya) is used, and when it stands alone, ཝ་ (wa) is used. Among these letters, there is the long vowel འ་ ('a), as well as dissimilar double consonants, and even those that appear to be single letters actually contain a stronger sound within them, so they are effectively double consonants. If they are listed separately, they appear as follows: These all have adjuncts, and if combined with the nature of reality, they can be explained separately as appearance and emptiness, skillful means and wisdom, father and mother, the expanse of reality and primordial wisdom, and primordial purity and spontaneous presence. As it says in "Self-Arisen": "Thus, having combined the meaning of the letters, combine it in the same way with the basis of the nature of reality. This is the explanation of the power of adjuncts." Thus it is. Second, when the root letters are combined with the na ro (ན་རོ།), gu gu (གུ་གུ།), vertical stroke (འགྲེང་བུ།), ya tag (ཡ་བཏགས།), and ra tag (ར་བཏགས།), these five adjuncts symbolize the self-radiance of the five wisdoms in awareness, and so on. The forms are like this: (Please refer separately to the types of these letters. Stacked letters 1. Note.) For these letters, the essence of the letters is the double consonant, which is the root adjunct. The na ro and so on are branches, called the adjuncts of adjuncts. The method of explanation is the same as the previous method of combining syllables. The letters ར་ (ra) and ལ་ (la) do not have the tsa (ཙ་) added to them, but it is said that all other letters can have it added. As it says in "Self-Arisen": "All the branches are the same. The method of explanation is as follows: In relation to the adjunct and the branch, the method of explanation is to explain through the adjunct. The syllable of the letter is related to the meaning, the method of explaining the letter is similar to the sound. The letters ར་ (ra) and ལ་ (la) do not have tsa (ཙ་). The examples of the letters are related to the meaning, and thus abide in everything." Thus it is. Third, the determination of the method of explaining samsara and nirvana is twofold: the method of explaining samsara and liberation from suffering. First, in the context of the tantras, the letters without adjuncts are explained as the phenomena of samsara and the rising of one's own awareness. For example, the letter ཀ་ (ka) is explained as samsara arising from delusion from the primordial expanse of reality.

la. It is said that ignorance and the collection of afflictions are included, and so on. It is said that whatever attachment or branch arises, it is beyond suffering (nirvana). If an attachment arises, it is explained as a duality such as appearance and emptiness. If a branch arises, it is explained according to the number of branches, such as the five aggregates, the three aggregates, and the six aggregates. In Rangshar, it says: All letters' Explanations are summarized in two ways: The way to explain the letters of transcendence, And the way to explain the letters of samsara. The letters of transcendence, Are the explanations of attachments and branches. The impure letters of samsara, Are the explanations of the first 'ma'. Thus, with two kinds of explanations, The meaning of all letters is unraveled. So it is. Fourth, explaining the place and enjoyment of letters: When all attachments and branches are complete, the first root letter 'ma' is explained as a part of samsara. From then on, whatever attachment arises is the place of transcendence. Therefore, when reciting, that attachment is combined with 'ma' and read together. The nature of the letter and the place of attachment, branch, samsara, and transcendence. Again, in the enjoyment of the mother vowel, attachments and branches arise. Among them, among the attachments above the mother 'ma', 'gu gu' is the letter of light, 'greng bu' is the path, 'na ro' is the space, and 'klad kor' is the letter of dharmata. Thus, the four above are called the letters of the lamp, like four lamps appearing from the eyes of the head above the body. Among the attachments below, 'ge' is the base, 'ya btags' is the letter of pervasiveness, 'ra btags' is the letter of manifestation, and 'zhabs kyu' is the letter of compassion. These are also said in Rangshar: The place and enjoyment of letters, Should be known to all in this way. Among them, attachments and branches are: 'Gu gu' is explained as the letter of light, 'Greng bu' is explained as the letter of the path, 'Na ro' is explained as the letter of space, 'Klad kor' is explained as the letter of dharmata. These are the four letters above, Which are considered the letters of the lamp. 'Zhabs kyu' is explained as the letter of compassion, 'Ya btags' is explained as the letter of pervasiveness, 'Ra btags' is explained as the letter of manifestation. Among them, whatever attachment arises, Is explained in conjunction with the attachment. So it is. Such a collection of letters is a symbol, for example, when someone sends many messages and wraps many threads around their fingers.
