Free from error, the nature is free from conceptual grasping, and the essence is non-dual, free from establishment. There are two divisions: the words spoken by a fool in distraction, and the words that are always on the lips. The first is: by placing the essential wind of the channels in its place, the key to subduing the nature of reality from its source through the diligence of one's own mind; the key to explaining the Buddha and sentient beings when that very nature has passed away; the key to severing the connection between body and mind by placing the essential wind in the body; and the key to the spontaneous liberation of movement when the channels and winds are lost in distraction. The second is: from the perspective of the vastness of space, there is nothing that is not contained, therefore the pervasiveness of samsara and nirvana is valued; because the emptiness of the dharmadhatu has no establishment, therefore the transformation of phenomena is valued; because space is without action, it is called self-arisen wisdom. The essence of the key instructions of the tantra's own tradition is clear as the source of all teachings, especially cut off by decisiveness. Because the nature is without difference, the dependence on samsara is severed; because the essence is not established in words and letters, emptiness is free from debate. There are four divisions: teaching in the manner of summarizing the view; teaching in the manner of bloodletting to dispel obstacles; teaching in the manner of revealing the hidden; and teaching in the manner of self-illuminating explanation. The first is: because the essence, free from elaboration, pervades the ground, there is no good or bad in action, and the three realms are completely liberated; because the nature, emptiness, arises in various ways, there is no benefit or harm from virtuous or non-virtuous actions, and there is no Buddha or sentient being. Because the essence is not in words and letters, one does not attain Buddhahood through the teachings of various vehicles, therefore it is the key to traversing all faculties simultaneously. There are two divisions: the desire to regard appearances as the view, which is without action, and the mind's realization, which summarizes all arising. The first is: because the essence has no dharma, there is not even the name of Buddha; because the nature arises as play, samsara and nirvana arise as the view; because the essence is not determined as one, there is no limit to view and meditation. The second is: because the essence is unborn and completely pure, afflictions are liberated in their own place; because the nature is unceasing and universally arising, there is nothing to accept or reject; because the essence is causeless and primordially liberated, the path of samsara and nirvana is exhausted. The essence of bloodletting to dispel obstacles is that by dispelling the key to the nature of reality, the samsara and nirvana

Halfway through the boundary, with the basis of self-nature being unerring, without the order of mother and child, with the basis of essence being causeless and pure, self-eliminating confusion. There are two divisions: eliminating the obstacles of the heat of view and meditation, and eliminating the obstacles of the way things abide. The first is that the heat of view is the connection between samsara and nirvana. That is, when the view is moving, understanding the nature of samsara is like recognizing a ghost or thief. When the view is attained, heat arises in body and speech, like adding wood to a burning fire. When the view is stable, the distinction between samsara and nirvana is distinguished, like an army winning a battle. When meditation is moving, wind enters the mind, like entering a rich man's treasury. When meditation is attained, the mind enters the path, like a pig entering a wall. When meditation is stable, the power of wisdom is obtained, like a king receiving empowerment from the crown of his head. When conduct is moving, the basis of knowledge is lost, like a person with heart-wind disease becoming enraged. When conduct is attained, delusion is suppressed, like a garuda with complete wings soaring over cliffs and precipices. When conduct is stable, the heat of the three bodies is attained, like a Brahmin woman attaining it. Furthermore, because appearance is eliminated by conduct, there is no way for appearance and conditions to go beyond the nature of reality. By eliminating the obstacle of the movement of meditation, there is no way for memory, thought, and samadhi to go beyond. By eliminating the obstacle of the nature of the view, there is no way to go beyond attaining Buddhahood without relying on the Dharma. By eliminating the obstacle with the way things abide, its essence cannot be altered, so whatever appears is none other than mind. Self-nature has no cause and effect, so there is no self-will, and there is no way to go beyond. Essence does not need to be habituated, so it does not rely on other objects of knowledge. Because the essence of concealment and manifestation is unattainable, one does not cling to any hope. Because self-nature has no direction, there is no doubt about anything. If the essence is examined, it cannot be found, so it is called the root of samsara and nirvana being rotten. There are two divisions: one is to conceal one and manifest two; the other is to conceal two and manifest one. The first is, if the view and conduct are manifested and meditation is concealed, then its essence, union, has no beginning or end, so the wheel of...
