The method of extensively determining the categories is: From the Tantra of the Great Self-Arisen Wisdom, it says: "Oho, secret Vajradhara! My immeasurable vehicle is summarized into two ways of speaking: Samsara and Nirvana." The meaning of what is said here is twofold: the worldly vehicle and the transcendental vehicle. The first also has five aspects: the nature of the vehicle, the definition, the classification, the necessity, and the result. The nature is any category of mental discrimination that does not surpass samsara, aiming at the result to be obtained, and abiding in the meaning of the words that define the category. The definition is to connect and establish it with the mere goodness of the world. The classification is twofold: the vehicle of maintaining the original state and the vehicle of reversal. The necessity is to make each of their results accomplished. The result is when each of their results becomes manifest by means of that method. Among them, the vehicle of gods and humans that maintains the original state is: abiding in the ten virtues and fasting, etc., accumulating meritorious actions that are conducive to fortune, it becomes a method for accomplishing the happiness of gods and humans in the future. No matter which accomplishment one enters, it is the basis, therefore it is called the vehicle of maintaining the original state. In the Great Tantra of Vajrasattva's Magical Net, it says: "The first vehicle is the vehicle of gods and humans." The reversed vehicle is: In Self-Arisen, it says: "The reversed vehicle is like this, believing in three hundred and sixty worldly aggregates." Therefore, this has two aspects: generally showing the nature of permanence and annihilation, and specifically explaining its categories. The first has two aspects: the view of permanence and the view of annihilation. The first is that although there are many different views according to the systems of the outsiders, the Samkhya school, which speaks of the permanent cause, is the root of all the scriptures, so it is explained first: The nature of the equal parts of dust, darkness, and mental power is called self, residing in the hearts of all sentient beings in a form that corresponds to the size of the body, the large ones are about the size of a thumb, the small ones range from pea pods to mustard seeds, and even smaller ones are like the tip of a sesame seed, etc., and it is white, oily, round, indestructible, and the self that no one can see exists hidden. Now it is the mental power of dust and darkness, when the three poisons of desire, hatred, and ignorance are in equal parts, one can recognize its nature oneself, look
