For a person who has become accustomed to this, after emptying illusions into emptiness, seeing the realm of pure Dharma-nature, the object of attachment is uprooted from its source. Thus it is. Thus, from seeing the meaning of the four lamps and becoming accustomed to them, the appearance of body and wisdom arises, filling the sky. That is also the long inner sound. If you want to ascertain the way the root dwells within, in the Jeweled Ornament it says: Ema, the way of abiding of awareness is, it abides in the center of one's own heart. Holding the parts of the two, father and mother, it abides in the manner of method and wisdom. Holding the part of the father, it is the body of method. Holding the part of the mother, it is the body of wisdom. It abides in the manner of light and rays. Adorned with space and awareness, it abides as a great, spontaneously perfect thigle. Thus it is. The way of abiding of the thigle is shown as follows: Within the channels, the thigle abides like a body. The measure of its greatness is equal to the edge of the sky. The measure of its smallness is like a tenth of a horsehair. The measure of its clarity is like the center of the sun and moon. That is also clear, radiant, and glorious. It is going, coming, and abiding. It has going and coming without action. It is self-perfect on the basis of perfection. Thus it is. Again, it abides in anger in each and every one. It appears manifestly as father and mother. Holding the form of wrathful and wrathful mother, it is endowed with five-five wisdoms. For each wisdom of the body, there are five-five wisdoms of the head. Thus it is. How does one practice the meaning of abiding in this way? One practices with the four, view, meditation, action, and result. That is also the meaning of view, meditation, action, and result, which is already present in oneself, and thus one practices, because one cannot take what is not there. Regarding what is there, in the Jeweled Ornament it says: The object of view abides like an unchanging body. The object of meditation abides like non-conceptual clear light. The object of action abides like emptiness and clarity, inseparable. The object of result abides like the ground being complete, primordial purity. Self-luminous awareness is in a state of clear light and equality, it is the great Dzogchen secret mantra, free from grasping and attachment. That is the way of abiding, the way of abiding of the ground. Thus it is. That is also, the nature of view is unobstructed transparency. The nature of meditation is non-conceptual equal abiding. The nature of action is spontaneous liberation. The nature of result is space and awareness, self-luminous. In that very text it says: View is unobstructed transparency, meditation is non-conceptual equal abiding, action arises as unobstructed play, result is endowed with space and awareness. Thus it is. The basis of view is

The self-born innate wisdom resides in the citta. The clear light wisdom thigle of meditation radiates from the four channels. The self-arising energy of action is clear in the conch house. The self-manifesting wisdom of the result appears in the eye. From that very [text]: The way in which the mandala of secret mantra abides is: the jeweled eight-sided mandala, the mandala of the moving channels, the mandala of the conch house bhanda, and the mandala of the seeing eye. In those four great mandalas, the great secret of all secret mantras abides. Thus it is. Regarding these, there are four [topics]: the way to become accustomed to the four yogas, the way to cut off the deviations of those four, the way they appear at the gate, and the instructions for ascertaining the time. The first is: to look at the life-force channel without moving the eyes is looking. To meditate without distraction in that state is meditation. To act in the appearance of the life-force channel is action. The stability of awareness of space is the result. As it says in the Jeweled Array: In that very great state, the meaning of looking is the life-force channel. Although there are countless appearances of phenomena, in terms of the meaning of the nature of reality, there is only one. Ema! With the yoga of continuous looking, look at its meaning without change. That is also the body of the life-force channel, appearing manifestly and difficult to grasp. In that very essence of awareness, the example of abiding without obstruction and all-pervasively is like the planets and stars rising from a clear ocean. Not being the time of latency, it abides in a great variety of all-pervasive [states]. With the yoga of continuous looking, if you are not distracted from its meaning, there is neither latency nor non-latency. There is no appearance of day and no disappearance of night. There is no appearance of duality. With the yoga of continuous action, if you do not separate from the essence of the life-force channel and the four times, it is the yoga of continuous action. Even without the continuity of self-awareness meditation, the yoga of continuous meditation arises. At all times and non-times, if you do not separate from the life-force channel, it is the yoga of continuous meditation. Thus it is. Second, identifying the place of deviation is: Again, from that very [text]: Emaho! In the yoga of continuous looking, there are three kinds of deviations. If you look at emptiness, you will deviate into the four formless realms. If you look at it as a real thing, you will deviate into the seventeen realms of the form realm and into a state of solidity. In the appearance of the life-force channel, if
