Without being obscured, it self-manifests, one should grasp the very nature of the eye's suchness. At that time, one should remember the view of abiding in awareness, which possesses the essence of the appearance of awareness. Since awareness does not move from the reality of the way awareness abides, one should also look at it with the corner of one's eye. Then, the appearance of one's own realm, together with the body, will become clear, so it is said. Second, the object of the lamp of wisdom is the meaning of words, which is to be decided with the confidence of realization. In the reductio ad absurdum it says: The object of wisdom is words and meanings, desiring the connection of words and meanings, knowing and speaking through representation. Representation is metaphor and symbolic representation, etc., and representation by words is ultimately spoken. Knowing by speaking is terminology, as well as introduction and guidance, and distinguishing differences, etc. So it is said. Third, the object of the lamp of bindu is the increase of appearance, in the realm surrounded by the halo of five lights, the sixth being the half-body, etc., and the three bodies, light, and rays, and the body of the realm, and the two bodies of awareness, and the five pure elements of ultimate truth, and the nature of the wisdom of the basis of manifestation, totaling six. In the reductio ad absurdum it says: The object of the bindu is color, five and six and three, two, six, holding the nature of clarity, warmth, coolness, and lightness and movement. The ultimate nature of reality arises. So it is said. Also, from the pure space of the sky, the source of the five lights, and the nature of the six wisdoms of fire without heat, and the three of water without moisture, purity, radiance, and bliss, and the two wisdoms of the realm of earth without hardness, and the five spontaneously accomplished bodies of wind without movement, the original radiance of movement, are also explained as six. Fourth, the object of the lamp of the realm is the self-radiance of the five lights, in that very text it says: The object of the realm is emptiness, and clarity and unobstructed radiance are complete, pervading and vast, a single gathering, in the sky where dust is cleared, equality, completeness, and the purity of reality. Clear and the radiance of the five wisdoms, the very body of pure luminosity. So it is said. Third, the support has two parts. The common support of the lamps is the support for liberation from samsara into the realm. In the reductio ad absurdum it says: The support of the lamp of pure wisdom, giving is the support and the supported, causing the seeds of samsara and nirvana to grow. So it is said. Second, the individual supports.

Among the four lamps, the support for the hook is that the impure, which appears as both pure and impure, is liberated into purity, relying on the body and wisdom. It says in that very text: The support for the hook is from appearances, through the distinction of pure and impure, karma and accumulations are purified, and it relies on the body and wisdom themselves. Thus it says. The support for wisdom is relying on the meaning of words. Again, in the Refutation it says: The naturally arising ground for wisdom is, words and the discrimination of right and wrong, the extremes of philosophical tenets and view and meditation, and it relies on the nature of reality. Thus it says. Thigle relies on both inner and outer appearances and awareness. It says in that very text: The support for the emptiness of thigle is, consciousness itself and space, channels and winds and thigle, and it relies on wisdom. Thus it says. Dhatu relies on inner and outer phenomena, light, and the body. In the former it says: The support for the perfectly pure dhatu is, the space between the eyebrows and the sky, light and thigle, and it also relies on various bodies. Thus it says. Fourth, the difference between the support and the object is, here, in the lamp and so forth, it is established as the support and the supported, possessing the qualities of the dharma. Furthermore, the place where its appearance arises is the object, there is this difference. The gathering of the support, the dharma of the support, and the manner of the support is the support. The object, the appearance of the object, the gathering of the three is the dharma of the object. In particular, the lamp of the eye-hook, because of the habit of the direct appearance of the nature of reality, samsara is destroyed. That is also, when conceptual thought is exhausted, the lamp of wisdom generates realization. Seeing the flower of the thigle empty lamp increases appearance. When the clear light of the lamp of dhatu arises, confused appearances are emptied. When the nature of reality is exhausted, one passes beyond through original purity. In the Refutation it says: That is also, the difference between the support and the object is, it shows the difference of the gathering of the actions of the three. Relying on the hook itself, abandoning faultless actions and so forth, one acts in the mother of reality. Because of purifying karma and habitual tendencies, in the direct appearance of the nature of reality, relying on it, samsara is emptied, and one is able to touch the boundary of nirvana. With the mind itself, where conceptual thought is exhausted, by casting samsara far away, seeing the body of pure wisdom, the meeting place of samsara and nirvana is destroyed. Whoever sees the beautiful flower, this straightens the nature of reality. Placing awareness on the scale, one transports all phenomena to the place of exhaustion. Dhatu
