It is called mindfulness because it abides. In the navel chakra, the wind bindu abides at about one-tenth the size of a mustard seed. It distinguishes between essence and dross. The dross is discarded as excrement and urine, etc., and the essence generates the body's radiance and luster, hence it is called the navel chakra. In the crown chakra, the mind's nature, the light bindu, abides at about one-tenth the size of a mustard seed, hence it is called the crown chakra. These are the supports of conventional reality. When these shift, the body and mind separate. The cause of conventional reality matures from this into blood, blood matures into flesh, flesh matures into sinews, sinews mature into serum, serum matures into fat, fat matures into bone, bone matures into marrow, marrow matures into spinal fluid, and spinal fluid matures into the conventional bindu. Like the knot of the single-stranded vein, at the place of generation, like the wick of a ghee lamp, two bright small eyes abide. In the mindfulness place, the support of the self-born lamp of wisdom, the fire bindu abides, radiating intensely. In the navel chakra, the support of the pure realm of reality, the bindu of five lights, about the size of a mustard seed, abides with a circumference. In the crown chakra, the support of the empty bindu, the light bindus of various colors abide in their respective places. Relying on this, the wisdom of undefiled ultimate reality manifests. Relying on this, one attains Buddhahood naturally. Therefore, it is called the bindu of self-nature. If the doors are pure, it transforms into the four lamps; if impure, it transforms into the four elements. The central channel, the All-Trembling Mother, is the gathering of the nature of all channels. It trembles due to the wind's attraction and repulsion, and because it is the basis of samsara and nirvana, it is called Mother. From this, the bindu of ultimate reality, the nature of reality, flows. Like its knot, at the place of generation, it becomes the support of all bodies. The body, about the size of a mustard seed, with a clear face, hands, and feet of light, abides clearly. In the mindfulness place, the support of wisdom, the four-doored palace, the four stables, and the individual colors and hand symbols of the deities appear clearly, about the size of a mustard seed. The mandala of the deities auspicious to oneself abides completely. With this key point, the mandala struck by flowers is quickly accomplished. In the crown chakra, the support of all lights, the mandala of wrathful deities abides. It is also from the central channel, without blood or serum, the emptiness is transparent, which is the activity of wind. The right channel, through which water, blood, and bodhicitta flow, is the activity of bindus.

The essence and wisdom arising from the left side flow, which is the function of the nāḍī itself. Second, explaining the categories in detail, there are two: generally explaining the nature of the three main nāḍīs, and specifically explaining the differences of the four chakras. First, in the *Shatavajra* it says: "The key to the body is the nāḍī, the place and arrangement and movement, the support of the chakras and the life of the body, the name and distinctions, cause and condition, the action that is done and the characteristics, the karma of afflictions and the karma of wisdom, what appears based on karma, the distinctions of diseases and elements, distinguished by the limit of abiding in disturbance, filled and obstructed, squeezed and bound, pressed and important, contracted and clear, twisted and bent, straightened and known, pushed and empty, forceful and seized. Thus, even by the key of the nāḍī, the place of the Buddha is symbolized." Thus it is said. Therefore, there are eight points to explain this meaning: the name of the nāḍī, the purifier, the symbol, the manner of arising, what is done, the essence, the dharma nature, and the oral instructions on how to practice. First, in general, if a body is not formed, it will not be formed. Once formed, the nāḍī will be formed. In the nāḍī, wind and wisdom and so on will be formed. By its key, liberation occurs, therefore one must recognize the nāḍī. Among these, in general, there are seventy-two thousand nāḍīs in the body. In particular, there are sixty-four in the creators, sixteen in memory, that is, eighty. In the tastes, there are thirty-two, that is, one hundred and twelve. At the apex, there are three hundred and sixty. In total, the four chakras combined have four hundred and seventy-two nāḍīs, which is a special summary. In the center of the four chakras, the three nāḍīs arise straight and without bending like a lifeline. Therefore, outwardly they become the support of body, speech, and mind; inwardly they connect with kāya, vāk, and citta; secretly they become the plan for the three kāyas. The three nāḍīs are: Romā, Kyoungma, and Kundarma. Within these three nāḍīs, there are three: Oṃ (藏文:ཨཱོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:啊), and Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). When they are pure, they become the basis for maturing into the three kāyas. When they are impure, they become the basis for maturing into body, speech, and mind. When they are impure, they become the basis for maturing into body, speech, and mind. When reversed, they open the door for the arising of the three poisons. Among these, Romā nāḍī means: when filled, it experiences a taste like excellent food, and naturally abides.
