Without pervasiveness, the great luminosity of self-radiance. Self-luminous, possessing both inner and outer aspects. Without effort or accomplishment, naturally accomplished. The manifestation of great compassion is: appearing as emptiness, yet clarity is unceasing. Without elaboration, yet possessing great elaboration. The nature is unceasing, yet possessing various uncertainties. Clarity without darkness. Unceasing, yet possessing great existence. The emptiness of naturalness, yet possessing universal manifestation. Unmixed, yet possessing complete manifestation. Pervading all, yet possessing oneness. Pure, yet possessing unceasing delusion. Complete, yet possessing a single appearance. Great compassion abides without ceasing. Furthermore, in the Prasangika it is said: The initial essence is nature, compassion abides in three forms. Moreover, since the essence abides as the body, the rain of Dharma, enjoyment, and emanation, without separation or distinction, in the nature of natural accomplishment, body color and so on are not objects of mind. The nature of manifestation is the form of light, white, red, yellow, green, and blue are not characterized by categories, but are accomplished from the naturalness of non-categorical knowledge. From the various manifestations of great compassion, there is no certainty in this one, because of the various manifestations, it is called the basis. Thus it is said. Furthermore, if measured from the reverse aspect of the essence of original purity, nothing is established, so in the aspect of external clarity, light and body color and so on are not established as having categories, but from the realm of its spontaneously accomplished nature, the five lights of self-arisen radiance appear as body, rays, and bindus, which are the nature of the most subtle. Revolving in the realm, therefore the inner clarity is present as subtle wisdom. Furthermore, if it is determined to be only on the side of original purity, then what is the aspect of the manifestation of body and wisdom? On the basis, there is nothing of original purity. If you think it arises from its realm, does it exist or not? If it does not exist, then it should not arise, just as things should not arise from non-things. If it exists, then it contradicts the assertion that nothing exists. Therefore, the nature of original purity is spontaneous accomplishment, and within its realm, in the inner clarity, there is subtle wisdom, the subtle appearance of self-arisen radiance of light. Furthermore, because the external clarity is not accepted as gross, it is liberated from the extreme of permanence. Because the inner clarity is considered subtle, it is liberated from the extreme of annihilation. Thus, the self-arisen wisdom without extremes, the essence is empty, so nothing is established. The nature is clear, and the way of appearance is unceasing. Great compassion is understood to be unceasing, so the basis for whatever may arise is: the basis of things.

It is the reality of nature. Secondly, elaborating on the individual aspects, there are two: elaborating from the aspect of the reversal of the emptiness of essence, and elaborating from the aspect of the reversal of the appearance of nature. Firstly, in relation to the reversal of primordial purity not being established in things and characteristics, there is no knowledge, no ignorance, no Buddha, no sentient being, no samsara, no transcendence, no light, no color, no body, no wisdom, no basis, no path, no result, no one is deluded, no liberation, no bondage, no freedom, no karma, no afflictions, no wind, no elements, no is, no is not, no what, no anything, nothing is established and there is no object of focus. It is taught that the establishment of dharma is abandoned by merely negating dharma. As it says in "Auspicious Adornment": It is called the great primordial purity, the place where the true Buddha has not arisen, where impure sentient beings have not arisen, it is called the great original radiance where knowledge has not moved. It cannot be spoken of, it cannot be measured, it cannot be focused on, it cannot be measured, it cannot be counted, it cannot be determined by anything, it cannot be represented, it cannot be made an object of knowledge. It does not see samsara, nor does samsara see it. It does not practice dharma, nor does dharma understand its meaning. It is not samsara, nor is it nirvana, not a basis, not an appearance, not darkness, not a path, without going, not not going, not a result, not abandoned, not attained. It is called the great realm of knowledge. And in the "Wordless Tantra" it says: In my self-born wisdom, there is no object of investigation. There is no past that has passed, there is no future that will come, there is nothing that appears now. There is no karma, no habit, no ignorance, no mind, no consciousness, no wisdom, no samsara, no nirvana, knowledge itself does not exist, and there is no appearance of wisdom. And in the "Muktika Garland" it says: In the essence of abiding nature, there is no Buddha and no sentient beings, there is no ignorance and no confusion, there is no mind and there is consciousness, there are no enemies and no friends and relatives, there are no afflictions and no self-grasping, there is no going and there is coming.
