In the vast plain, an illusory army plunges into a cliff. Those who do not understand are frightened and run away, resulting in falling into the cliff. Those who understand the truth arrive safely on the other shore, like a son. Therefore, the so-called existence of real phenomena appearing and the non-existence of unreal phenomena being emptiness are also like the appearance and emptiness of a dream, transcending the limits of existence and non-existence. Clinging to the constantly existing real object as an eternal self, and clinging to the nature of non-cessation as an indivisible moment, both of these do not exist. Because time is not established, eternity and momentariness are not established; because the essence is not established, eternity and momentariness are not established. The true path of liberation, virtue, and the untrue path of samsara, non-virtue, are both like the nature of a dream, because they are without self-nature, they are not established in reality. Actions and afflictions, as well as maturation and habitual patterns, are also purified by the eight similes of illusion, so they cannot exist in reality. If these exist in the mind, then examining the nature of arising, abiding, and ceasing, because the dependent mind and the relying afflictions cannot be found, it can be determined that they do not exist. If they exist in the body, then analyzing the body by breaking it down into indivisible particles, the dependent body and the relying maturation cannot be found. Just as the flowers in the sky have no place of birth and no own essence, they are not established. As the Garuda Sutra says: From the root, it is impossible for this mind to have desire. Maturation and habitual patterns are rootless, who do they rely on? Just as the flowers in the sky have no place of birth, without reliance. The body and mind have no place, habitual patterns cannot have reliance. So it is said. Transcending the clinging to the path and the antidote means: The antidote is originally liberated, liberated without anything to be abandoned. Abandoning and not abandoning are both absent, liberated in the vastness like space. Liberation is originally liberated, liberated without bondage. Non-liberation is originally liberated, liberated without bondage and liberation. Letting go is originally liberated, liberated without a reason to let go. Abiding is originally liberated, liberated without a reason to abide. The antidote is relative to the phenomena to be abandoned, but here there is no samsara to be abandoned, so there is no antidote path to eliminate it. Both what is to be abandoned and the antidote are established on the mind, but the mind has no essence, so both do not exist. Liberation is relative to bondage, but without being bound, there is no reason for liberation. If there is so-called non-liberation, then everything that is a phenomenon has self-nature.

Since there is no pervasive non-existence, there is indeed no bondage or liberation. Letting go is inherently liberation, as there is no basis for letting go. Abiding is inherently liberation, as there has never been an abider, an act of abiding, or a basis for abiding. It is the very suchness of inherent non-duality. As it is said in 'Essence Accomplishment': 'The view of the Great Perfection's intent is that, not falling to the side of virtue or vice, it transcends the extremes of being and non-being. There is no duality of perfection and non-perfection. In the essence of the Great Perfection's awareness, there is no delusion or non-delusion.' And in 'Self-Arisen': 'It completely transcends the realm of thought, is liberated from the extremes of grasping and fixation, and transcends the extremes of names and words of characteristics.' Etc. The essential points of certainty are summarized as follows: In short, all phenomena that appear and exist, and all that does not appear or exist, transcending phenomena, all of these are inherently liberated in the expanse. Therefore, no one needs to strive to liberate them now. All phenomena that are suitable for the mind, that appear and exist, and that do not appear or exist, which for the time being have not become the object of the mind that sees this shore, are nirvana, not the realm of activity of the ultimate mind. It is like saying this. In short, all phenomena of samsara and nirvana are inherently empty, beyond thought and expression, and have already been liberated in the primordial expanse. Because there is no self-nature, there is no need to strive to liberate them again, because it is inherent liberation. As it is said in 'Consequentialism': 'Because it is inherently liberated, there is no need to liberate again.' Etc. Establishing these reasons is also like this, the effort and diligence are meaningless, because even if you try, it is meaningless. Do not do, do not do, do not strive and practice. Do not look, do not look, do not look at the phenomena of the mind. Do not meditate, do not meditate, do not meditate on the phenomena of the mind. Do not examine, do not examine, do not follow the object and mind to examine. Do not accomplish, do not accomplish, do not accomplish the result of hope and fear. Do not abandon, do not abandon, do not abandon from afflictions. Do not take, do not take, do not take the correct Dharma. Do not bind, do not bind, do not bind your own continuum. The essence of awareness is empty and clear, and for the essence that is not established anywhere, expressing it with double negative words from the aspect of negation is also to prevent the two ways of grasping and holding. Because the essence of awareness does not have the phenomenon of action to be grasped, nor the phenomenon of action to be held, therefore, for the action of diligence and the act of practice, it is strongly said do not do, do not do.
