The non-existent awareness transcends all directions. Here, the unattached appearances meet. Here, the state of non-grasping is self-abiding. Here, the acceptance and rejection of non-liberation vanish without a trace. The experience of non-attachment arises spontaneously. This very mind-space is vast from the beginning. Whatever knowledge of acceptance and rejection arises in the external appearances, do not look at it, do not meditate on the state, do not seek the interval. Just recognizing the naked awareness is liberation in the nature of reality. That is, because there is no bondage from the beginning, the term liberation is applied. Seeing the key point of nakedness is liberation in nakedness. Seeing the essence of original purity is liberation in original liberation. Abiding directly in self-abiding is liberation in one's own place. Vanishing nakedly in the place of appearance is liberation in naked liberation. There is nothing that is not liberated, because realizing the groundlessness is liberation in complete liberation. Being born as liberation at the time of arising is liberation in an instant. No matter what circumstances appear, there is no harm to the yogi of the Great Perfection of naturalness. This is because seeing the key point means there is no turning back from the nature of reality, and it arises from repeated practice. As it says in the *Thorough Destruction*: Furthermore, the nature of liberation is explained. Because of liberation by the key point, effort is exhausted. Because of liberation from the beginning, there is no need to repeat. Because it is self-liberation, there is no antidote. Because of naked liberation, it vanishes in the place of seeing. Because of complete liberation, the nature is pure. Because of liberation by time, there is no need to habituate. Because of liberation by nature, there is no fabrication. So it is. The iron nail of Great Bliss Self-Liberation, completely pierces through the true wisdom. Likewise, the mind that desires and rejoices in the heart, the pair of (1) bliss, relatives, pleasant words, enjoyment, the place and direction that are pleasing, the arising of a mind adorned with natural joy. That very recognition is self-abiding in the present moment, spontaneously accomplished in the primordial realm. Whatever joy arises from, it is the radiance of awareness, so abide without moving from the state of recognizing nakedness. As it says in the *Heap of Jewels*: When the mind's memory appears outward, my wisdom is self-pure. If there is no following thought to this, my sounds are all heard by this. So it is. The iron nail of the liberation of the self-abiding, scattering awareness into the non-dual nature of reality, in the intermediate state of nature, walking, moving, and abiding. Whatever arises, whether joy or displeasure, at the time of arising, recognize it without accepting or rejecting it. Self-abiding nature divides.

Without distraction, it is called the great liberation into the light of ignorance. When the consciousness, other than joy and displeasure, fades into the object, and the object appears, without looking at the place of appearance, but recognizing the emptiness of the basis of appearance, then the outer appearance is liberated without abandoning the appearance, and the inner movement is liberated without abandoning the movement. At this time, it is like untying the yoke, and simultaneously liberating on both sides. The part of the intermediate consciousness that is liberated is called the liberation into the empty light of ignorance. When awareness directly realizes its own nature, all its powers appear as self-luminous play, and there is no place where it is not liberated. Because there is no basis and no conceptual thought arises, it is liberated in its own place, which is the natural state of Dharma. In short, if you hold on with conceptual thought, you are bound; if you relax, you are liberated; if you are not liberated in any way, it is called transcending the extremes of bondage and liberation. As the Garland of Pearls says: With the uncertain arising, the mind that appears as certain is liberated. All phenomena that appear as form are liberated in the state of no self-nature. Formless phenomena are liberated into reality. Dharma is liberated by Dharma, and non-existence is also liberated by non-existence. One is liberated by one, and the two that appear as two are also liberated. So it is said. The thunderbolt of dreams and sleep, which appears as the light of ignorance, is when one is intoxicated by sleep at night, etc., and sleeps in a natural, relaxed state without gathering or scattering. The gross appearance disappears, so the clinging to it also disappears. The subtle and extremely subtle clinging also disappears. In the state of equality and non-discrimination, the mind of awareness abides in its own nature, without hope or fear of arising and dissolving. When all conceptual thoughts are liberated into the Dharmadhatu, it is called the liberation of samsara and nirvana. Sleep is the place of ignorance, and it merges involuntarily, which is the mind gathering inward. The karma of dreams is subtle, such as habits, etc. Therefore, the means of practicing it is to show the clinging, practicing, transforming, and cutting off of dreams, etc., which are explained elsewhere. Here, the one key to practicing with the non-conceptual nature of Dharma is to lie down like a lion, and the consciousness does not wander from the nature of emptiness, but abides in it. When sleep gathers the conceptual thoughts of external objects and gradually becomes subtle, when the awareness is not interrupted, and it is practiced without distraction, the air and mind enter the central channel, and there is no conceptual thought about anything, and the emptiness of the object and the subject
