Por Ch'in. This is also a precious aspect of half-pointed single-mindedness in calm abiding. It is the intention of the Great Perfection of intrinsic nature. The state of awareness abiding in its own place is the aspect of nakedly clear awareness, while single-minded calm abiding is the aspect of abiding without thoughts scattering, so it should be taken as half. By familiarizing oneself with that state of awareness, the exhaustion of karma and habitual tendencies that take rebirth arises from the qualities of the mind ceasing. Now, "by familiarizing oneself with that awareness that is separate from the mind, ultimately the Dharmakāya that is separate from the mind is manifested. All awareness that is separate from the mind is one without moving from the ground. From the continuous succession of threads, it arises as the interdependent condition for manifesting the result. When cyclic existence and nirvāṇa arise as the play of creativity in the ground appearance, the play of creativity from the ground is not separate, but is equal in clarity. When awareness is separate from the mind, it is equal without establishing an entity, so it is said that cyclic existence and nirvāṇa are equal in awareness without duality. In the Perfection of Creativity, it says: How can cyclic existence itself and sorrowful cessation be established as two? In the Explanation of the Mind of Enlightenment, it says: There is not the slightest difference between cyclic existence and sorrowful cessation. In the Ornament of Clear Realization, it says: Existence and peace are without duality. From distinguishing the difference between the all-ground and the Dharmakāya, it says: If it moves from its state, it is conceptual thought, cyclic existence itself. There, cause and effect are inevitable. Erroneous beings go from lower to lower. Therefore, the supreme secret Great Perfection is: The qualities that have not moved from the expanse are sustained in the ground. The intention is unmoving, abiding in equality. The intrinsic nature of awareness is like a mirror. When the play from the clarity of creativity arises like a reflection, the essence of awareness abides in the state of Dharmakāya, and the action of not moving from its state is the Dharmakāya. The all-ground is the unmanifested, unthinking, and unexpressed awareness that has not realized naked awareness. Abiding in that state is an obscuration of meditative absorption because it accumulates the karma of the higher realms. From that state, the all-ground has the aspect of consciousness, and because the six aggregates arise in objects, the sense consciousness scatters towards objects, accumulating the karma of naked cyclic existence. In short, all phenomena of cyclic existence depend on the all-ground. Here, if the yogi does not distinguish between the Dharmakāya and the all-ground, the root of cyclic existence and nirvāṇa will not be severed. Therefore, it is taught to prevent all virtuous actions from becoming additions to cyclic existence. The Dharmakāya is naked awareness.

Therefore, this is the uncontrived, empty and clear. It is not the basis of karma and habitual patterns. Its essence is emptiness, hence the Dharmakaya; its nature is clarity, hence the Sambhogakaya; its compassion manifests without interruption, hence it abides as the Nirmanakaya. The essence of the Alaya is non-conceptual, unindicated, formless consciousness, similar to the ground of ignorance. The nature of the Alaya is the aspect of consciousness, the basis for the manifestation of the sense consciousnesses. The expression of compassion is the six consciousnesses together with their grasping of objects. These accumulate many karmas of samsara, but mainly, if one is accustomed to the state of Alaya, it is formless; if one is accustomed to the state of Alaya consciousness, it has form; the six consciousnesses open the door to the delusion of desire. Now, meditating on the Alaya, and meditating on the clarity of Alaya consciousness without conceptualization, and cultivating the six consciousnesses' conceptual thoughts into self-liberation, all of these do not transcend the three realms. Here, recognizing this transparent awareness, one grasps the root Dharmakaya. Not expecting to cultivate with non-conceptual quiescence, therefore the Alaya is wrong. Not taking the cultivation of clarity as the path, therefore the Alaya consciousness is wrong. Not taking the outward manifestation of conceptual thoughts as the path, therefore the six consciousnesses are wrong. Constantly abiding in the wisdom of the three Kayas: Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya. The essence of awareness, which is not established anywhere, abides in emptiness, therefore it is the wisdom of the Dharmakaya. Transparent and possessing clarity, therefore it is the wisdom of the Sambhogakaya. The uninterruptedly manifesting awareness is realized transparently, therefore it is the wisdom of the Nirmanakaya. At any time, awareness needs to appear nakedly transparent, that is the key. If it does not appear transparently, one cannot be liberated from the consciousness of the three realms, therefore one cannot transcend this samsara. Previously mixed. One cannot surpass. Therefore, Alaya and Dharmakaya must be distinguished. The essence of Alaya is the container of habitual patterns. Definition: Alaya is the dharma of samsara, because it is its basis, therefore it is Alaya. If distinguished, the Alaya of the body is the beginningless habitual patterns that appear as the body, and from that, it becomes the basis for the aggregation of individual bodies. The Alaya of combining meaning is the ignorance that is the basis for accumulating all the karmas that connect the aggregates and so on to existence. The Alaya of fundamental meaning is the beginningless ignorance that universally relies on the dharma of samsara, these are three. The essence of the Dharmakaya
