Now, the meditation that transcends meditation is: In the state of unmeditated, awareness released and without clinging, if you meditate repeatedly, you will see that there is no meditation to be done. Unmeditated awareness is the completely poured-out meditation. Its essence is naked awareness. In the Madhyamaka, it says: The characteristic appearance of meditation is: In the characteristic empty-clear awareness, the nature is not mixed with anything, the extremes of grasper and grasped are exhausted, and the nature of reality is self-purified. The appearance is not mistaken, in the nature of pure causes and conditions, from the self-purification of existence and non-existence, the attachment to the objects of the five senses is purified, the grossness of the elements is purified, and the appearance of increase is shown by the purification of wisdom. From that arises the nature of reality of exhaustion. Thus it is said. The way of meditation is, in the Kunjed Gyalpo, it says: In the nature of reality of enlightenment where there is no meditation to be done, since there is no duality of meditation and what is to be meditated upon, therefore, not meditating and abiding in the nature is meditation. Thus it is said. Transcending what is to be practiced and the practitioner, the conduct of the great expanse of clear light of the nature of reality is: In the state of non-dual, free from acceptance and rejection, if you practice repeatedly, you will see that there is no practice to be done. Unpracticed awareness is the completely poured-out practice. The essence of awareness is free from doing and being done, therefore, in that state, whatever arises of appearances and thoughts, the three doors are relaxed and left as they are. In the Kunjed Gyalpo, it says: O mind, is the essence of suchness, for suchness has never been fabricated or adorned, in the self-arisen state it is free from all causes and conditions, leave the three doors effortlessly relaxed. Thus it is said. The fruit of effortless, spontaneously accomplished is: In the spontaneously accomplished, originally attained, free from hope and doubt, if you repeatedly cultivate, you will see that there is no cultivation to be cultivated. Uncultivated awareness is the completely poured-out fruit. This naked and still awareness like a bell is itself the fruit of the Dharmakaya's spontaneously accomplished, abiding in that state without wavering is: In the Kunjed Gyalpo, it says: O Bodhisattva Vajra Lekpa, meditate now! Because the meaning of unborn, primordially pure appears, therefore, do not regard appearances as real, nor intentionally destroy them. Appearances are unarisen and self-liberated, therefore, do not meditate on emptiness, liberate through realizing as it is. O teacher of teachers, Kunjed Gyalpo I, all the phenomena that appear in this way, have proclaimed the unborn, primordially pure, therefore, realize the essence of how they arise. O teacher of the three bodies that arose from me, all say that the nature of mind is unborn. Even with all efforts, the meaning of emptiness is not achieved. Before the unborn, no one has realized it. Therefore, in this teaching of the All-Creating King, knowing and not being distracted, abide in the meaning. Effort does not enter, and the antidote does not purify the mind. Do not dwell on objects, and do not gather the mind of mindfulness. Whatever arises, that itself is the meaning. Therefore, enter into the meaning of the All-Creating I. O, teacher of teachers, All-Creating King, the teachings descend upon the wheel of the unconditioned mind. Yogis who realize the unborn completely, do not strive for the ten natures. In the nature of the All-Creating Bodhicitta, grasping is not taken by knowledge, and not knowing is not abandoned. With the power of realization, abiding in the meaning, the intention of the All-Creating King is spontaneously accomplished. Thus, the meaning of the four transcendences of the great self-abiding Samadhi, view, meditation, conduct, and result, is gathered into one naked and clear awareness. Do not scatter the mind on external appearances. Since what arises does not go beyond its own adornment, it is clear and unobstructed in the awareness of self-dissolution without trace. Do not think about the mental discriminations of inner movements. Knowing that the unceasing sound is the play of compassion, the expanse is vast in the state of the self-purified ocean. Do not meditate on the non-duality of the middle. When meditation on the self-settled state arises, the king of clear awareness abides without wavering. Do not contaminate the six aggregates that are released with the antidote of grasping and striving. From the sixth expanse: Self-abiding, still Samadhi. The doors of the senses do not cease. Bodily actions should not be done. Sleep should not be abandoned. It is not a separate thought of the mind. In short, body and speech are separate. The elements of mental arising do not leak out. Even in the six objects of the senses, the mind does not waver with mindful observation. From the great non-conceptual self-appearance, clarity and non-thought are born of experience. Thus, the Samadhi of the great first descent is: In the state of equality, there is no conceptualization of objects. Not grasping as mind, hope and fear, arising and ceasing are pacified. Abiding in the state of equality of object and mind is the Dharmata realm, which is naturally unmoving. In the realm of characteristics, there is the abode of the non-object aggregate. Since primordial non-duality is the aggregate of awareness, the state of great perfection is without separation of samsara and nirvana. All is without acceptance or rejection.
