Even if you meditate on "being," it will not be permanent. Even if you meditate on "non-being," it will not be annihilation. Even if you view it as "being and non-being," you will not fall into extremes. Even if it arises as "is and is not," it will not be limited. Even if it appears as "pleasure and pain," it will not continue. Even if you awaken to "dharmata," the mind will not cling." "Even if you are liberated without interruption, you will not change your nature. Let the awareness of non-discrimination, beyond all directions, be scattered freely! Let it exist in "being!"" "Let it exist in "non-being!" Let it appear! Let it be emptiness! Let it be! Let it not be! Let it be good! Let it be bad! Let it be realized!" "Let it not be realized!" "The self-arisen, naked, empty awareness, let it be scattered freely, without restraint, without trace! Originally there was no liberation, because there is no basis. Not recognizing one's own face, because there is no duality. Not practicing view, meditation, and action, because there is no doing. Not guarding the reality, because there is no state. Not maintaining self-nature, because there is no place. Not liberating in oneself, because there is no support. Originally awakened, there is no dharma, because there is no limit. Ultimately non-discriminating, transcending view and attainment. The awareness of no dharma, no action, let it be scattered nakedly! Do not bind it in the box of view and meditation. Do not settle it on the empty ground of dharmata." "Do not guard the state of reality. Do not indulge in complete scattering. Do not wander on the path of arising liberation. Do not abandon your own home. Do not practice the meaning of self-liberation. Do not transmit the unspeakable nature. The unattached awareness, scattered in the unattached, is more vast than the state of purity. Therefore, do not practice dharma. Do not change the mind. Do not welcome the future. Do not chase the past. Do not grasp the present. Do not guard false appearances, let the unrestrained awareness be scattered in the infinitely vast space! Now, whatever appears, let it be naturally awakened, transcending the calculation of is and is not. As it is said in the string of pearls: However one speaks and acts, it is the luminous display of empty awareness. Thoughts of good and bad are the vast river of practice. Wrong views and right views are the non-discriminating view of the yogi. All hopes and doubts are the fruits of false appearances. This is the moment of falling into reality. Now explaining the nature of these realizations: Whatever appears, whether heaven and earth are reversed, is naturally scattered, without basis, false and unreal. Unattached, chaotic, unclear, without distinction. Without hope and doubt, possessing a crazy demeanor. View, meditation, and action are non-discriminating, eliminating clinging desires. Without desire, without closeness or distance, without "this," without effort and fabrication. Why is that?

Therefore, since realization does not stray from the nature of reality, it is liberated into the exhaustion of phenomena and the absence of names. Seeing whatever appears as the play of self-arisen wisdom, like the reflection of a face appearing in a mirror, one realizes that what is seen in the external world is the play of awareness, merely an empty form without arising. Because the nature of reality is pure like the sky, one sees that one's own awareness and the nature of reality are inseparable. Whatever appears is the play of empty form and awareness; whatever changes is primordially enlightened, without trace. Because it is equal in the nature of reality of the three times, it is liberated into the great state of non-action and beyond mind. Therefore, it is called the time when the phenomena of acceptance and rejection are exhausted. As it is said in the *Uttaratantra*: "Realization does not stray from the one; appearance is clear upon appearance; like a face and a mirror, liberation is that and that itself." "In that self-arisen empty place, seeing is not different from awareness; it is liberated in its own place; because one is liberated, all are liberated." "The limit of the numbers two and three is exhausted; the object of thought and grasping does not appear." "Movement and grasping are empty from the beginning; because the realization of emptiness is clear and complete, the limit of many is exhausted." Thus it is said. The yogi whose realization arises from within, whatever arises is liberated into the nature of reality without choice, this is the teaching: Let whatever arises arise, let whatever appears appear. Let whatever dawns dawn, let whatever is be what it is. Let whatever is also be what is not. There is no difference on top of awareness, because it arises from the state of one awareness, so the ground has no good or bad. The extent of what arises is nothing other than the display of awareness, so the essence of the display has no good or bad. Because it is liberated by arising, if it is not grasped, it naturally vanishes, so the essence has no good or bad. Whatever arises, whatever appears, is an appearance that is not on the ground, so it is already empty, without establishment, refutation, or doubt, like the water of a mirage, there is no need to grasp the clear appearance of non-existence with the mind. For the yogi, there is no choice of acceptance or rejection for the appearance of objects and mental thoughts, there is nothing to do, because the groundless, phenomena-exhausted, nameless are understood as one. It is called transcending the limits, it is only a term. As it is said in *Awareness Self-Liberated*: "Appearance is empty of the phenomena of things; emptiness transcends the phenomena of signs; the transcendent is unspeakable." Thus it is said. The yogi who realizes unreliance and complete liberation has no fixed conduct, and is ordinary.
