Sa. The very nature is spontaneously accomplished. It transcends earth, directions, and boundaries. There is no existence, non-existence, or mere appearance. It is not the domain of sound measurements. There is no counting of one or two. It is accomplished by descending into the great emptiness. It is not the domain of scriptures and reasoning. It cannot be described by tantras and instructions. Through view, meditation, and conduct, one cannot know its meaning. That meaning has no result to be achieved. The very nature of Dharma ༼༡༽will be obscured. It is not accomplished by thought, nor can it be examined by wisdom. Through generosity, discipline, and patience, that nature is free from the results of harm and benefit. Through hearing, contemplation, and meditation, even if examined to the utmost, it is not seen. There is no mandala in it. There is no seed syllable for generating deities. What is the use of mantras and mudras? There is no need to arrange offerings and so on. Where are empowerment and vows? There is no recitation or practice. There is no arrangement of the wheel. There is no protection, and no object to be protected. It transcends the realm of demons and harm. That is me, that is beings. It is mind, it arises from mind. It is many, and it is one. Samsara and nirvana are myself. Mandalas and so on are entered in sequence. It is Dharma, it appears as Dharma. It is abiding, and it is going. It is sitting, sleeping, and walking. It is life, and it is also cutting off. The three worlds are born from it. It appears as deities, mantras, and mudras. It appears as virtue and its result. It is also the ten perfections. Earths and qualities, everything arises from it. Conduct, meditation, and also views, everything arises. The vehicles of great and small order, everything arises from it. In short, whatever appears, all dharmas arise from it. Thus it is said. Since the essence is not established anywhere, it is determined that awareness is primordially empty like the sky. From that state, whatever way of appearing arises, it is repeatedly emphasized as spontaneously accomplished. Since those two are the same in nature in awareness, it is recognized as being free from the extremes of existence and non-existence, which is the tradition of Dzogchen. Appearing but not established as existent. Emptiness but not falling into non-existence. It should be known as the nature of non-duality, great spontaneous accomplishment. From the Treasury of Dharmadhatu, everything is primordially spontaneously accomplished as the mind of enlightenment.

This is the teaching on "Ba," a commentary on the seventh chapter. Therefore, to show that the spontaneously perfect nature is also non-dual, arising from a single realm, from the arising itself to the absence of duality of self-nature, it indicates that: everything is in a single realm of self-born wisdom, non-duality is the way of being of the essence, dualistic appearances arise unceasingly from power, appearances are given names, non-duality is bodhicitta. Just as the images that appear on the surface of a mirror, no matter what appears, are non-dual with the mirror, all phenomena appear in the state of awareness, therefore they are non-dual with awareness. Just as the various dreams that appear in a single sleep are no different from the sleep itself, samsara and nirvana are not other than the play of awareness. Just as the waves, large and small, that arise from a single river are no different from the river, all phenomena appear to arise from a state of nothingness, and that is also emptiness appearing, just the nature of the emptiness of dharmata, and their emptiness is non-dual. Based on these three reasons, all phenomena are determined to be non-dual. All phenomena are equality in non-establishment, equality in non-cessation, equality in being able to perform their respective functions as mere appearances in awareness, and equality in the very appearance of arising from conditions and dependent origination. Therefore, by observing these four aspects, one should realize the great equality of non-duality. As it is said in the holy Samadhiraja Sutra: Whatever is born from conditions, therefore it is not born, it does not have the nature of being born. Whatever depends on conditions, that is said to be emptiness. Like that. Samsara and nirvana are the manifestation of the power of awareness, and it is impossible for their essence to be dualistic. The appearance of a dream, and the person who sees it, although they appear as dual, are actually non-dual, because they appear only in one sleep, one time, one clear appearance without appearance, and are not actually established. It is also said in the Abhisamayalankara: Like a dream and the dreamer, not seeing two aspects, thus the nature of all phenomena, is realized in a single instant. Like this, all that appears as phenomena is emptiness appearing, one's own knowledge and awareness.
