Thus it is said. Now, to dispel the ignorance of not distinguishing between self-arisen wisdom and other-arisen conceptual proliferation. Nowadays, the elephants who boast of Atiyoga, is the flowing and flickering conceptual proliferation Bodhicitta? All these delusions are the abyss of darkness, far from the meaning of the Great Perfection of Self-Nature. If one does not know the essence and what arises from the essence, what need is there to speak of the nature of Bodhicitta? Even if one only has faith in this vehicle, the opportunity to see well is not even a fraction of a hair. Swelling the body with the ignorance of not having been thoroughly investigated, adorning the face with a golden net of jealousy and wrong thoughts, some who boast of being knowers with the attitude of an elephant and are full of flattery, not only enter the path of affliction, ignorance, and wrongness themselves, but also meet with the unfortunate who are heading towards liberation, and instruct all those who encounter faults in this way: Whatever arises is the nature of Dharmakaya, this pure conceptualization is self-arisen wisdom. And "Samadhi is the mind of ignorance" ༼1༽ and so on, by showing false teachings that deceive beings, they teach profound dharmas that others do not have, we see them. This is just a thief of this vehicle appearing today. Thus, from self-arisen wisdom, the power of great compassion arises, and the awareness that appears in the object is called the play that arises from the essence, but it is not self-arisen wisdom. Because it follows the existence or non-existence of the object, and if it is not grasped by skillful means, it becomes the karma and affliction that lead to samsara, and the nature of conceptualization and discrimination does not go beyond the nature of samsara. In the All-Creating King, it is also said: "Self-arisen wisdom is known from the beginning, the wisdom that conceptualizes the object, is born from the object and is not self-arisen." In the common vehicle, it is also said: "Mind and mental factors are of the nature of the three realms, the appearance of false conceptualization is conceptualization." Thus it is said in the Two Truths. The Elephant of Direction also said: "Conceptualization is great ignorance, it is what causes one to fall into the ocean of samsara." Thus, it seems to contradict what was said above, so wrong conceptualization is very terrifying. Such views should not even be heard, let alone followed? Here

Now, what is the wisdom that arises? Here is a detailed explanation: Here is the Bodhicitta that is pure from the beginning. The truth of the Dharmata of ultimate reality is the Prajnaparamita beyond words and thoughts. It is naturally unmoving, its nature is luminosity, and it is originally free from the elaborations of movement and emanation. Its essence is said to be like the essence of the sun. Its potential is the unceasing manifestation of appearance. Awareness is transparent and free from both conceptualization and judgment. Although it is clearly manifest, there is no grasping or being grasped. Self-arising wisdom is awareness that is empty, clear, and free from elaboration, like a pure crystal ball. It arises in a nature that does not judge objects. Moreover, in the rain of manifestation, there is no arising or non-arising in its own nature, so it remains self-illuminated. It is empty and clear in emptiness, and clear and limpid in primordial purity. The aspect of various manifestations arising from that state is the elaboration of grasping and being grasped. The self-nature of that arising is naked and clear, abiding in the wisdom of awareness. Because it does not conceptualize objects, it is called self-arising wisdom. Here, those who do not understand the introduction identify it as looking at the release at the beginning of all appearances. This is a failure to understand the key point called fundamental error of conceptualization. When appearances arise, the awareness without a place of arising or an ariser is naked and clear. If this is recognized as abiding in the wisdom of unceasing manifestation of compassion, then the root self-arising wisdom abides naked in its own place, and one will also recognize that essence and self-nature are inseparable. Therefore, it is called the non-dual self-arising wisdom, the single bindu free from elaboration. From self-arising it says: If awareness is free from elaboration, where are confusion and ignorance? If wisdom is free from mind, where are habitual imprints and defilements? Moreover, in the Consequence School it says: The nature of emptiness, clarity, and awareness, where is its self-nature not mixed? The limits of grasping and being grasped are exhausted, and the Dharmata's self-nature is pure. Moreover, in the Perfection of Potential it says: The essence of wisdom's self-appearance is without mental conceptualization. It directly cuts off appearances of past objects and future objects. Moreover, in the Six Spaces it says: In the nature of great equanimity, with the vast and pervasive emanation of manifestation, non-dual appearance is primordially connected. I, Samantabhadra, have taught this. In the nature of mind without characteristics, the phenomena appear as numbers. It is called self-liberation, non-dual. I, Samantabhadra, have taught this.
