Without discrimination, it is the vast and unhindered movement of awareness. Like a flawless crystal ball, its essence is empty and clear. From the state of unbornness, where nothing is established, arises the unceasing play of whatever appears. In the self-arising of awareness, it is said: "Not falling into extremes, without obstruction, without inside or outside, vast and expansive, pure and without stain, like a crystal ball. It is taught that appearances are without inherent existence." Thus it is said. Its nature is extensively explained as follows: "The unobstructed, primordial wisdom is a vast, self-arising space. Unobstructed, without inside or outside, it is radiantly clear. The self-aware mind is a great mirror of light, a wish-fulfilling jewel, the precious realm of Dharma." "Without searching, everything arises spontaneously. The glory of self-arising wisdom fulfills all desires." The pinnacle of the spontaneously accomplished jewel of wisdom from the realm is naturally radiant, and its stainless rays pervade all of samsara and nirvana. Therefore, it is called the great mirror of light of bodhichitta. The vast essence of dharmata is beyond conception. In the Perfection of the Lion's Strength, it is said: "The Great Perfection is my bodhichitta. The essence of awareness is without thought. Because there is nothing, anything can arise." And in the Self-Arising, it is said: "From the nature of unceasing play, the vast realm of Samantabhadra arises. The intention is the realm of great wisdom. The nature of clinging is without attachment. Non-conceptual, beyond words and thought, like the magical displays of the sky." The vastness of awareness, the space of bodhi, is shown as follows: "However many qualities of greatness there are, from the realm, the realm arises, the supreme means arises without ceasing. Since everything is spontaneously perfected in the unborn realm, phenomena overwhelm emptiness, the space of bodhi, emptiness overwhelms self-aware bodhi, the space of bodhi." Awareness, liberated from the four extremes, is like the state of the sky, and all the dharmas that arise from it are like illusions and moon reflections in water, transcending existence and non-existence. Therefore, it is taught that in the pure nature of the great space of dharmata, in the Self-Arising of Awareness, it is said: "Like illusions, moon reflections in water, and mirages, it is not non-existent, nor is it existent. Because it transcends both existence and non-existence, the essence of awareness is unborn, the nature of appearance is unceasing, the characteristic of awareness is without substance, the result of awareness is unconditioned, awareness is taught as the essence of the three kayas." Thus it is said. Now, regarding these
