Then all sentient beings are distracted by the bonds of the five afflictions, not seeing the meaning of self-awareness and primordial wisdom, clinging to this appearance as true, not seeing the face of the great pure appearance. Sentient beings such as humans, because they have not obtained their own freedom, dwell in samsara for a long time. So it is. Therefore, clinging arises from grasping at what is not mistaken as self, so it is advised to abandon clinging. Mistake and non-mistake are the realm of bodhicitta; in bodhicitta, there is originally no mistake or liberation. But clinging to its manifestation binds. But in terms of true meaning, there is no bondage or liberation, nor is there object or mind. Do not deceive yourself by clinging to what is not as what is. In the essence of wisdom, there is no establishment of samsara and nirvana, so there is no bondage, liberation, mistake, or samsara. But the manifestation of its power as samsara and nirvana appears like the eight similes of illusion, and if one continuously clings to it as real, one is bound. But from the time of manifestation, the essence of true meaning is not established, so there is no aspect of object, nor is there mind that grasps it, so bondage is originally non-existent, it is the nature of emptiness. Do not deceive your own wisdom by clinging to what is as what is. The meaning is, if one does not recognize the essence of mind itself, then one clings to the appearance of phenomena and mind that arise from its own nature as real, so one is mistaken in samsara. As the All-Creating King says: Not knowing the self-nature of the All-Creating One, I cling to the dharmas created by me, Appearance is formed by the power of greed and attachment, The impermanent, illusory nature will perish, Like the nature of a blind person without parts. So it is. Therefore, the root of mistake lies in clinging, and clinging lies in seeking external objects with discrimination. Therefore, the key to cherishing the path that can be freed without trace at the time of encounter is the key. Although there are many ways to reverse mistake, they can be summarized into three: Mistake is reversed from the ground, because recognizing the ground of mistake, the mistake itself is reversed, like recognizing a ghost thief, the thief retreats, and one is at ease in one's own home, this is the method of the Great Perfection of self-nature. Mistake is reversed from the path, because the mistake of affliction is used as the path to seek liberation, but this is a mistake of the path, if one can enter it and return, then one enters the path without mistake, this is the method of common mantras. Mistake is reversed from the result, which is the vehicle of causality, meaning that after attaining Buddhahood, mistake and its habits can be reversed, like a king gaining sovereignty,
