Therefore. Acting with non-elaboration, not thinking, surpassing elaboration. Not grasping things as signs, abiding in the meaning of reality. Not conceiving, nakedly natural, free from objective discrimination. The six dharmas for examining the self-nature of reality are: Self-awareness is naked, without modification or corruption. It is not ordinary, turning away from the undeclared . It is non-conceptual, free from the duality of grasper and grasped. The antidote is not mind, transcending all abandonment and cultivation. Unseen by others, it is self-awareness for each individual. Not targeting "self," it transcends all targeted experiences. Although it always exists, this secret is difficult to know, Transcending thought and non-thought, it is all-pervasive. Whoever knows this is skilled in the meaning of reality. The six dharmas for manifesting self-nature are: At the time of realization, self-luminosity is clear. At the time of non-realization, there is no obstruction, it is wide open. At the time of whatever appears, self-luminosity is bright. At the time of grasper and grasped, everything is clear and distinct. At the time of equanimity, liberation from extremes is serene. At the same time as scattering and abiding, there is uninterruptedness, ha-re. Knowing such key points, the yogi reaches the peak. The six types of practice that are specially abandoned are: One must abandon fatigue, hunger, thirst, and suffering. One must abandon worldly interactions and agriculture. One must abandon enemies and friends, attachment and aversion, profit and fame. One must abandon attachment to the objects of the five senses. One must abandon acceptance and rejection of praise and criticism. One must abandon the self-dissolving of thoughts, abandonment and cultivation. If one possesses these, the path to liberation and enlightenment will be accomplished. The practice of not separating from the six perfections is: Giving, do not give to the enemy of miserliness . Discipline, do not be destroyed by the thief of broken vows . Forbearance, do not be pierced by the weapon of anger . Diligence, do not be bound by the rope of laziness . Meditation, do not mix with the poison of distraction . Wisdom, do not be obscured by the darkness of ignorance . Thus, abandon the six incompatibilities and practice. The nature of the six unrelated things is explained as: Those who see suffering as adornment have no connection with liberation. Those who act artificially and care about face have no connection with liberation. Those who listen and think for profit and fame have no connection with practice. Those who do not do good and do evil have no connection with higher realms. Those who are lazy and indolent have no connection with experience. Those who have self-grasping, attachment, and aversion have no connection with practice. Cherish yourself, do not be influenced by such unrelated things. The six methods of observing the mind during meditation are:

Sometimes, observe the mind, abiding and stable. Who knows that birth, cessation, and abiding are all free? The key to becoming accustomed to the mind's own freedom. Sometimes, at that time, observe the self-nature of experience. Who knows that there is no place to dwell or reside? The key to realizing that joy, sorrow, and self-appearance are unborn. Sometimes, observe the increase of qualities. Who knows that unobstructed miraculous powers are self-liberated? The key to using the arising of unborn qualities. Sometimes, observe the meaning of equanimity and the nature of reality. Who knows the self-born great bliss and primordial purity? The key to transforming all dharmas into the path of equality. Sometimes, observe the natural state of inner and outer awareness. Who knows that samsara is free from grasping and being grasped? The key to completely cutting off the single ultimate meaning. Sometimes, without meditation, observe the natural state of awareness. Who knows the emptiness without observer or observed? The key to directly seeing and entrusting the self-nature of the Dharmakaya. The fortunate yogi who possesses the six keys. In the state of exhaustion of dharma, the mind is exhausted, how delightful the experience! Abandoning the six aspects of evil nature, namely: Miserliness, suffering, and stinginess, not accumulating provisions for the next life. Not relying on a guru without faith, not accumulating the wealth of instructions. Not diligently practicing what is known, one will not find the path to enlightenment. Being attached to friends and relatives, one will not find a companion in the bardo. Holding onto self-view and ego-grasping, one cannot repel the army of the four maras with dharma. Becoming a slave to desire, one cannot firmly establish oneself in the ultimate realm. The faults of accumulating six evil deeds will rebound upon oneself. Therefore, cherish learning virtuous deeds. Explaining the nature of the six necessities, namely: First, one must generate renunciation and the mind of definite emergence, Not entering the world, one must focus on the Dharma. Then, one must know how to rest knowledge, One must know how to release into the body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas. Then, one must breathe great air into the heart, One must be fearless with the confidence of realization. Then, one must attain the supreme wisdom of great bliss, One must make the primordial purity ground manifest. Then, one must spread happiness to others, One must guide beings with the four activities. Then, one must abide in the irreversible ground, One must make the spontaneously accomplished mudra manifest. Cherish the ultimate accomplishment with the six necessities. The six dharmas that transform into the irreversible path, namely: Without meditation, observe the self-nature of various flowing thoughts. Whatever arises, recognize its self-nature in its own place, Whatever appears, it will surely be liberated in the unborn pure land. The preliminary practices for entering meditation.
