Do not treat diligent practice as the enemy of laziness, do not treat devout faith and compassion as the enemy of wrong views. The six faults of indulging in sensual pleasures are: form deceives the eyes like a moth drawn to a flame, sound deceives the ears like a flute luring wild animals, smell deceives the nose like bees infatuated with sandalwood, taste deceives the tongue like a fish swallowing a hook, touch deceives the body like an elephant trapped in mud, Dharma deceives the mind like a bereaved old woman. The six senses should not be allowed to wander freely into the six realms. The six Dharmas for transforming obstacles into the path are: turn the thoughts and attachments of this life away from the depths of your heart; regard whatever illness or demonic influence arises as a broom sweeping away sins and obscurations; regard adverse circumstances and obstacles as a spur to virtuous conduct; regard enemies and harm as an aid to cultivating patience; regard whatever thoughts arise as a lamp illuminating wisdom; regard the environment and beings as the pure land of the Buddhas. All circumstances are paths to enlightenment. If you do not understand and recognize this, six mistakes will arise: taking and rejecting based on faults and merits; discriminating between high and low in the realms of the six paths; clinging to the arising and ceasing of awareness; treating false consciousness as something to be abandoned or embraced; wanting to practice and progress on the reality of awareness; thinking that the result can be obtained from elsewhere. Because they do not understand the nature of the supreme meaning, foolish children indulge in worldly Dharma. The six things that practitioners of Dharma should be ashamed of are: entering the Buddhist gate but engaging in evil deeds, being ashamed; clinging to words but not practicing, being ashamed; generating Bodhicitta but clinging to self, being ashamed; mixing Dharma with worldly affairs, being ashamed; generating attachment, anger, and strife, being ashamed; denigrating Dharma and others, being ashamed. Those who can properly abandon shame are very rare. The six key points of true meaning are: regard busyness as the work of demons, thereby cutting off entanglements; regard interruptions to merit as faults, thereby abandoning joy and sorrow; regard fame and status as the work of demons, thereby settling for humility; regard bias and permanence as faults, thereby integrating into oneness; regard meaningless suffering as futile, thereby seeking key points; regard empty talk without experience as false, thereby uniting with your own mindstream. If you do this, you will accomplish excellent qualities. The six timely pieces of advice are: the number of times you have wandered in samsara has been too many, now you should seize the unchanging, secure ground. The number of times you have been trapped in the wheel of suffering has been too many, now you should

Should be obtained. (This is a response to the previous wishes) The body of birth and death, discarding and taking countless times, Now should obtain the unchanging Dharmakaya. Confused in the darkness of ignorance countless times, Now should light the lamp of wisdom. The army of the four demons, destroyed by them countless times, Now should reverse the battlefield of samsara. Having been a slave to desire countless times, Now should complete the permanent cultivation. Think about this matter that is more excessive than appropriate. Observing the benefit of the six realms of beings: If you cannot regard the nature of suffering as happiness, Desiring happiness, suffering becomes a great disease. If you cannot regard the nature of attachment and aversion as equality, The act of taking and discarding, acceptance and rejection become a great disease. If you cannot regard the nature of bad conditions as friends, Skillful means and wisdom relying on others become a prison of bondage. If you cannot regard the nature of bad omens as a cliff, Then the accomplishment itself will also be in league with demons. If you cannot tame your own mind stream with Dharma, Even if the words are many, they are just the recitation of a parrot. If the good deeds you do are not accompanied by bodhicitta, Either you become a Shravaka or Pratyekabuddha, or just similar merit. Therefore, what is truly important is to grasp the key points. The six dharmas that practitioners should possess: If you rely on a solitary place, virtuous conduct will increase. If you praise others, faith will naturally arise. If you tame your own mind, good deeds will increase. If you accumulate the seven treasures, you can eliminate poverty. If you increase merits, you can inherit the lineage of the Buddha. If you protect the beings of the six realms, you can practice the conduct of a Bodhisattva. However, few are able to act according to what should be done. Generating joy in the six important matters: Since it is very difficult to generate sincere faith from the depths of the heart, Therefore, it is very important to strive to correct and transform the mindset. Since it is very difficult to transform various conceptual thoughts into helpers, Therefore, it is very important to let whatever thoughts arise naturally liberate. Since it is very difficult to regard the appearance of the vessel and its contents as a pure land, Therefore, it is very important to know illusion and dream. Since it is very difficult for realization and liberation to arise simultaneously, Therefore, it is very important to diligently cultivate. Since it is very difficult to actually benefit others, Therefore, it is very important to make vows, generate bodhicitta, and learn. Since it is very difficult to be without attachment and clinging, Therefore, it is very important to gradually reduce desires and be content. If you can practice these, you can quickly attain the supreme state . The six distractions that practitioners should abandon: Outward distraction, determining the conclusion of the view. Downward distraction, knowing the time of practice. Outward distraction
