The one who realizes the essence of view is liberated in their own nature. Other than that, the extremes of permanence and annihilation are not liberated. These are precious treasures, hold them with respect. The six dharmas of spontaneous accomplishment are taught: If you let go of activities, virtuous deeds will be spontaneously accomplished. If the three trainings are pure, the oath-bound ones will spontaneously gather. If compassion is perfected, benefiting others will spontaneously arise. If the retreat and practice are stable, activities will spontaneously occur. If you release freely, the nature of reality will spontaneously be seen. If you accomplish the supreme, the common will spontaneously be accomplished. The six dharmas that do not fall into the six excesses are: If you do not abandon attachment, there will be much crookedness in between. If you do not cultivate knowledge, there will be much ordinary death. If you do not rely on antidotes, the three trainings will be much decayed. If you do not listen and contemplate, meditation will be much astray. If you despise cause and effect, there will be much falling into the lower realms. If you are distracted, practice will be much deceived by demons. Do not go among the many. The six "is" that conquer demons are: Inspiring diligence is, do not indulge the demon of laziness. Training the mind to cherish others is, do not indulge the demon of selfishness. Deciding on the nature of reality is, do not indulge the demon of doubt. Practicing without bias is, do not indulge the demon of partiality. Practicing with essential points is, do not indulge the demon of empty talk. Realizing the ultimate view is, do not indulge the demon of sectarianism. Establishing the six measures well is: Being meticulous in adopting cause and effect is the measure of great faith. Fearing speech is the measure of great shame and embarrassment. Praising qualities is the measure of good friends. The nature of mind being free from objects is the measure of good meditation. Not stealing merits and faults is the measure of complete practice. Transforming the three bodies into the path is the measure of bringing to exhaustion. The person who possesses all the measures is the best of the best. The teachings on the six faults that should not be done are: Having taken the three vows, do not bear the burden of transgressions. Having abandoned the meaning of the essence, do not follow after words. Not cultivating enlightenment, do not be devoted to the eight worldly concerns. Having obtained a human body, do not return empty-handed. Having found the profound meaning, do not enter into inferiority. Being skilled in explaining the scriptures, do not be without practice. The six dharmas for contemplating the faults in practice are: If there are many obstacles, the wall of harmony collapses. If you do not abandon intention, rely on the lineage without leisure. If compassion does not arise, look at yourself as an example. If blessings vanish, generate faith and diligence. If there are many harms, increase purification

Practice! If you want to benefit others, obtain the mind of enlightenment and aspiration. If you do so, you will be liberated from the faults of wrongdoing. The authentic Dharma of practice, endowed with six validities, is: the validity of the command, having mastered the sutras, tantras, and precepts; the validity of the instructions, with an unbroken lineage; the validity of blessings, without entering into error; the validity of purity, unmixed with dissimilarities; the validity of experience, fitting one's own mind; and the validity of reason, with direct perception, inference, and proof. These six are extremely precious. The six dharmas that expose one's own faults from the root are: do not deceive yourself with evil deceit. Do not destroy yourself with unwholesome sins. Do not let clinging afflictions become your own demons. Do not disturb your own mind with an angry heart. Do not deceive yourself with distracting busyness. Do not abandon yourself on the precipice of samsara. If you listen to these suggestions, your wishes will be fulfilled. The six dharmas taught by combining high and low are: upwards, offer to the lama, yidam, and dakini. Downwards, cut off the connection with vessel and essence, enjoyment, and relationships. In between, practice the meaning of the union of appearance and emptiness. Outwards, dedicate the merit for the benefit of sentient beings. Inwards, integrate the qualities of the Three Jewels into your own mindstream. In between, protect the virtuous actions of yourself and others with impartiality. In this way, the essential Dharma of the profound path will be accomplished. The six kinds of errors that conflict with the Dharma are: having obtained a human body and engaging in sinful actions is one error. Having encountered the Dharma and not practicing is one error. Having obtained vows and breaking them is one error. Practice that violates vows is one error. Seeking gain and honor with the Dharma is wrong livelihood, one error. Abandoning self-interest and acting for the benefit of others is one error. There are many people who think and become weary. The six causes that lead to the decline of the Dharma are taught: relying on bad friends is the cause of the decline of virtuous actions. Observing the faults of the lama is the cause of the decline of faith and respect. Not practicing diligently is the cause of the decline of experience. Staying on the path of distraction is the cause of the decline of the Dharma. Observing the faults of others is the cause of the decline of pure vision. Unrestrained wisdom is the cause of the confusion of views. Abandon these six causes and practice the Dharma. The six dharmas that advise abandoning the six enemies are: do not make the leisure and endowment of the human body an enemy of food and clothing. Do not make the altruistic mind of enlightenment an enemy of the lesser vehicle. Do not make the mind itself, the wish-fulfilling jewel, an enemy of delusion. Do not make the two accumulations, the wish-fulfilling jewel, an enemy of this life. Trea
