It is unreasonable to say that although one knows the pure container and contents, it is impossible to know the impure container and contents, because those are produced by the afflictions and karma of sentient beings, and because all impure appearances have been transformed into a pure state. Is the wisdom of the Buddha the wisdom of knowing everything or not? If it is, then it contradicts not knowing the illusory appearances of beings. If it is not, then the characteristic of being the wisdom of the Buddha is lost. Therefore, all those systems only see the similarities and do not see the dissimilarities, so they are not correct. Second, establishing the correct system has two parts: the way of seeing the knowable and refuting arguments. The first is that, in relation to one's own appearance, all delusions are extremely pure, so there is no seeing of even a particle of delusion, because delusion is completely abandoned and does not exist. In relation to the appearance of others' delusions, one knows all the ways in which things appear to each individual being, together with their causes and effects, as clearly as if a myrobalan fruit were placed in the palm of one's hand. And that is because one wisdom knows all the appearances of oneself and others simultaneously, because it is the wisdom of knowing everything. In the Two Truths, it says, "With a single instant of knowing, one also pervades the entire mandala of knowables." This is what is said. The meaning of these two can be understood through an example. For example, in a magnificent palace adorned with limitless precious jewels, there are two brothers. The elder brother awoke earlier from sleep and became endowed with the clairvoyance of knowing the minds of others. In his dream, the younger brother also fell asleep and dreamed of the various illusory appearances of the six realms, with various experiences of happiness, suffering, and neutrality. At that moment, the younger brother had not yet awakened, and even waking him up was of no use. The elder brother then emanated as a god, etc., and while the younger brother was experiencing happiness and suffering, he emanated as a renunciate or a Brahmin, or a man or a woman, or a Buddha or a Hearer or a Solitary Realizer, or a Bodhisattva, or an ordinary being, etc., and said to the younger brother, "Alas! All conditioned things are impermanent, without essence, and not truly existent. This illusory appearance is false, do not cling to it as true." And so on, he taught the Dharma, and then...

Having abandoned non-virtue and practiced virtue, it seems as if life transmigrates many times, and for a time, one is transformed into the happiness of the heavenly realms and the kind of dharma practitioners, and attains temporary happiness. However, under the gradually thinning sleep, due to the cause of knowing samsara to be false, when one awakens from sleep, one also sees dreams arising without leaving the previous bed, and also remembers the deeds done by the brother's emanation. However, although there is no good or bad in the brother and the deed, only at that time when good and bad appear, it is like the two brothers laughing and talking about this matter. Just as the essence of the hearts of the Tathagata and sentient beings are equally free in the palace of wisdom, one should understand it through the difference between awakening and not awakening from a sudden and temporary sleep. Moreover, among the two ways of knowing the knowable, knowing as it is, is when the wisdom of the Tathagata cuts off all the elaborations such as arising and ceasing of the nature of all dharmas of samsara and nirvana, and the imputation of grasping at characteristics, and does not focus on even a little bit of the knowable with its own nature, and directly realizes it. This is called knowing the nature of dharma as it is. As it is said in the sutra: "Not seeing anything at all is seeing the dharma." Shantideva said: "When things and non-things do not remain before the mind, at that time there is no other aspect, and it is completely pacified without any object." The way of knowing as many as there are is when the wisdom of the Tathagata, without moving from the state of equanimity, directly knows all knowables as illusions. This is called knowing as many as there are. As it is said in the sutra: "The object of the knowledge of all aspects is non-things." Moreover, it is not knowing by grasping each object separately like the root consciousness, but knowing all phenomena with one consciousness. As it is said in the Avatamsaka Sutra: "The unsurpassed wisdom of the Buddhas can know all meanings in an instant." The knowables of the three times are not known in a sequential order, but are known simultaneously. As it is said in the Ornament of the Sutras: "Just as sending out a single ray of sunlight illuminates the world, so the Tathagata's wisdom simultaneously illuminates all knowables." They also observe from the state of equanimity, and afterwards
