"By him all beings are intimately nourished, and just as it is from one, so it is done in all the finest dust without exception." "O sons of the king, likewise the wisdom of the Tathagata, the immeasurable wisdom, the wisdom that intimately nourishes all beings, also enters without exception into the minds of all beings. Those minds of beings are also immeasurable, like the wisdom of the Tathagata," he said. "Also, if you look at its own nature, virtues are naturally accomplished, and it has never been stained by faults. If you look at its appearance, it is as if it is possessed of afflictions and later purified. The fact that it is both pure and impure without contradiction is an inconceivable dharma. From that very thing, 'The Tathagata-nature with defilements is instantly pure at one time, and because it is completely afflicted, this state is 'inconceivable.' The Tathagata-nature without defilements has never been completely afflicted by defilements before, and because it is pure later, this state is inconceivable.'" "The second is the way it pervades everything, which has three aspects: nature,""the way it pervades everything, the sign of lineage, and qualities. The first is from the Garland Sutra: 'The Sugata-essence pervades all beings.' And from the Uttaratantra: 'Because the complete Buddha-body radiates, and because it is inseparable from Suchness,' 'Because there is lineage, all sentient beings always have the Buddha-essence.'" "There are two signs of lineage. The sign of having lineage but not being awakened is from that very text: 'If there were no Buddha-element, there would be no aversion to suffering, and there would be no desire for nirvana, and there would be no aspiration or longing.' This is like some inferior people. The sign of being awakened is from that very text: 'Seeing the faults and benefits of suffering and happiness in samsara and nirvana' 'is because there is lineage, and it is not present in those without lineage.'" These two are in the Ornament of the Sutras: 'Some do not have virtuous qualities in accordance with liberation,' 'The presence of little white is also without cause.' It shows the inexhaustible and the temporary cessation, and before the union, compassion and

Faith, patience, and the correct practice of virtue are rightly declared as the marks of lineage. Thus, awakening is taught. Qualities are shown to be superior because they are far superior to the lesser vehicle. As it says: Qualities are extremely vast, for the sake of growing the Bodhi tree, for the sake of attaining peace and great happiness and suffering, for the sake of benefiting oneself and others, the supreme lineage is like a good root. So it is said. Also, in the Indian language, the word "Gotra" is translated as "Guna" (Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, गुण, merit), which means merit. "Tratar(1)" is translated as deliverance, that is, relying on merit, delivering to the other shore of samsara. As it says: Qualities should be known as the meaning of deliverance. The third, detailed classification has three types: classification from the perspective of the support and the supported, classification from the perspective of the state, and classification from the perspective of metaphor and meaning. The first is from the Ornament of the Sutras: Self-nature and growth, etc., that is the support and the supported, existence and non-existence of self-nature and qualities, should be known as the meaning of deliverance. Thus, the previously mentioned all-pervading light is divided into two by the distinction of appearance and emptiness. The emptiness of the Dharmadhatu is the support for the separation of the Dharmakaya and the Svabhavikakaya, while the manifestation of wisdom, self-light, complete with marks and signs, is the supported, the abiding separation of the two Rupakayas. As it says in the Uttaratantra: Like a treasure and a fruit tree, know that there are two types of lineage, the beginningless self-nature abiding and the perfectly attained supreme. From these two lineages, those who desire to attain the three bodies of the Buddha, the first body is the first, the second is the latter two. The adornment of the Svabhavikakaya is to be known as a precious image, self-nature is uncreated, qualities are a treasure of jewels. The great Dharma, the great kingdom, possesses great power, complete enjoyment like a Chakravartin. Because of the nature of the image, the Nirmanakaya is like a golden image. So it is said. That is, the lineage that abides in self-nature and the lineage that is perfectly attained are divided into two types by the distinction of base and path. When the self-nature of the Dharmadhatu abides pervading all, the plan of the Dharmadhatu is like a treasure of precious jewels.
