Furthermore, by entrusting one's own aspect to the knowledge of objects, knowledge arises in an aspect similar to the object, which is called object-consciousness. Thus, by the method of focusing on the object, one completely utilizes the object, and it is said that the grasper and the grasped of different times abide in the conventional truth. Also, some say that in the conventional truth, the Yogachara-Madhyamikas know that all appearances are objects of consciousness, and there is no external object, which is similar to the aspectarians. Also, some say that just as in the dream realm, the cloud of the grasped appears, and even when awake, the appearance of hair strands, the appearance of two moons, and general meanings, etc., are not objects of both object and consciousness, so too, mountains, houses, men, women, vases, wool, etc., which are known as objects to worldly people, are empty of both external objects and objects of consciousness. From beginningless time, due to the imprints of ignorance, they are merely appearances of what does not exist. Therefore, objects that exist in the conventional truth are only the mind and mental factors such as the bliss of the clear appearance of the grasper. Thus, although there are various explanations, like the Vaibhashikas of the Shravakas, they say that coarse objects are formed from the accumulation of atoms, which is their own characteristic, and that there is no self-awareness of mind and mental factors, etc. Although there are some differences, in essence, they do not want appearance to be consciousness, and there are some similarities, such as arising from their own previous cause. Although they do not accept self-awareness as the Mind-Only school does, they do accept a mere wisdom that has not been separated into existence or non-existence, as the commentary says, "By the wisdom of each individual's own awareness." There are two kinds of valid cognition that ascertain. The valid cognition that ascertains the conventional truth is that for all phenomena of dependent arising, such as form, the rational intelligence that follows the reasoning of being separate from one and many, etc., by the valid cognition of inference, on the force of negating the true object that can be analyzed, it is determined as an object of knowledge that cannot be analyzed, which is the determination of the characteristic. The valid cognition that ascertains the ultimate truth is that the object to be measured is determined by the reasoning of ultimate analysis that can be analyzed, and after obtaining the valid cognizer, it is realized by the non-conceptual wisdom of each individual's own awareness.

Now, those ordinary individuals ascertain through inferential cognition that follows the path of reasoning. That is, by setting aside the distinctions of the subject-property as neutral, and taking only the general category of things as the basis, it is determined by a valid cognition, either direct perception or inference, that engages with one aspect of appearance. Thus, when the object of measurement of the discriminating wisdom that ultimately examines emptiness, free from elaboration, is determined by negating the truly existent entity in the mere category of (2) of the category, then the distinctions of the category, such as form and pleasure, and all the distinctions of things, are cut off from imputation, because they realize that these are the pervaders of emptiness, without abandoning the mere entity that is realized. If one asks, what is to be negated in that subject-property? The answer is, what is to be negated is not desired to exist. However, signs and inferences do not become meaningless, because they cause one to realize that what does not exist is non-existent. That is, they cause one to know that a truly existent entity is non-existent. For example, even if it is a stump, because it is not recognized, when it is taken to be a person, the grasping of it as a person is negated, and thus the stump is established, but because it is not a person, even if the stump is established, the characteristic of a person is not negated. That is, it is only the clinging to truth that is negated, and it is not that only this is negated, such as atoms, self-awareness, the chief, and the powerful, etc., because by negating the general, the particular is negated in passing. " Secondly, if, as it is not admitted that the ultimate truth is the object of reasoning, then the appearance in conventional truth is also non-existent, just like dreams and so on that appear clearly. Although it is established as merely appearing to arise from its own cause, in ultimate truth, from the two truths, which are the objects of self-aware wisdom, and so on, it is not accepted that all the phenomena of samsara and nirvana are established, because the Intermediate Mother Sutra says: 'Subhuti, all phenomena are empty of essence by their very nature in ultimate truth, therefore nirvana is also unborn and non-existent.' Therefore, the distinction and characteristics of the two truths are to be viewed as the ultimate truth of designation, and it is only established in its presence, but in the presence of the non-designation ultimate truth, it is beyond the object of knowledge, speech, and elaboration."The measure for definitely determining the distinctions and characteristics of (1) of bliss
