Therefore, for those who can eliminate the fault of being the same and different in an instant, the view that there is a distinction between truth and falsehood in the ultimate sense is not reasonable. Secondly, regarding the most profound secret of the Buddha's teachings, which is the view of the Madhyamaka school, although there are five bases of knowable objects, they can be summarized into two truths. Therefore, there are two great treatises that declare that all phenomena are inherently without self-nature, namely the presentations of the Svatantrika school and the Prasangika school. First, the Svatantrika school is further divided into two, namely the presentation that acknowledges the ultimate truth as an object of consciousness, and the difference of not acknowledging it, which must be clarified. First, it is divided into classification and definition. There are five types of classification: the basis of classification, the meaning of classification, etymology, detailed classification, and numerical determination. The first is merely knowable. The second is generally, even if it is only the opposite of the definition, there is no difference, including name, different entities, the same entity but different opposites, and only the difference of negating the same, these four differences. The first of these, as stated in the "Holy Unraveling of Intentions Sutra," when the conventional is realized by direct perception, since there is no difference from its opposite, the ultimate truth is also realized, so sentient beings in samsara attain liberation from the beginning. Also, the ultimate truth that is not associated with difference and the opposite are without difference, so conventional forms and so on also become empty of difference. Also, since any object that is made into an object of focus will increase afflictions, the conventional truth and the opposite are without difference, so making the ultimate truth an object of focus will also increase afflictions. Also, since the conventional truth that cannot be newly realized by valid cognition and the opposite are without difference, the ultimate truth also becomes impossible to determine, and the sutra refutes it with four faults. The view that the entity is the same but the opposites are different (1) is to acknowledge illusion as the ultimate truth, because the "Perfection of Wisdom Sutra" says that any phenomenon that is fully enlightened into Buddhahood has neither truth nor falsehood. And, the wisdom of meditative equipoise knows all phenomena as being like the center of the sky, while the wisdom attained after meditation knows all phenomena as being like illusions.

This contradicts the previously stated scriptural authority, and it is not an appearance that is empty of truth. Because if the meaning of negation is established as the ultimate truth, then if one posits a non-affirming negation that is separate from one and many, it cannot be determined that a rabbit has horns. If one posits only a non-affirming negation, it cannot be determined by the conventional truth. If one posits the appearance of being inseparable from one and many as a reason, as a special non-affirming negation that exists in the face of awareness, it is not established because the special characteristic exists in the face of awareness, and the essence of being separate from one and many is contradictory. This is neither logical nor will it become indistinguishable from the correct conventional truth, and it will be the same as the object of negation, and it will even become a fault of having a view inferior to that of the Mind-Only school, so it is not logical or correct. Even if one thinks that things are different, as it says in the Explanation of Intentions Sutra, even if one directly realizes the ultimate truth, one will not attain nirvana because one observes it separately from the conventional. And the ultimate truth that is different from the conventional will not become the nature of the conventional truth, just as a vase is not the nature of cloth. The Two Truths states, "Because the two truths are different things, the mere fact that the conventional is not established will not become the ultimate truth, just as the mere fact that a vase is not established will not become cloth. Even at the time of attaining nirvana by directly realizing the ultimate truth, one will also become completely afflicted because one observes it separately from the conventional. Therefore, it will not be contradictory for complete affliction and purification to occur simultaneously in the continuum of one person." This is said to be refuted by five reasons. Therefore, the ultimate truth, which is free from all elaborations, cannot be said to be either a different entity from the conventional truth or the same entity, but is only a difference that is merely a negation of sameness. The definition or meaning of the name is that saṁpṛti (Sanskrit: saṁpṛti, Devanagari: संवृति, Romanization: samprti, Literal meaning: conventional) is called obscuration, therefore it is conventional, it is the deluded consciousness that obscures the true meaning. It is satya (Sanskrit: satya, Devanagari: सत्य, Romanization: satya, Literal meaning: truth), because it is true in the object, therefore it is truth, that is, the nature of the appearance of various phenomena such as form, appearing as an appearance, like a dream. What is called parama artha (Sanskrit: parama artha, Devanagari: परमार्थ, Romanization: parama artha, Literal meaning: ultimate meaning) is the fruit sought by those who strive for the most excellent meaning, therefore it is ultimate, that is, the nature of unerring wisdom.
