Therefore, it is considered as the condition of the object ༼༣༽. It is believed that gross matter arises from the aggregation of indivisible, adherent, and intangible atoms ༼༤༽. The five sense consciousnesses arising from mind and mental factors, and their retinue of mental factors, such as form, etc., are directed towards the five objects. Although the five objects are not seen, it is like a person's face ༼༥༽ reflecting its own image in a mirror. The consciousness of the object arises in the second moment by projecting an image similar to itself. For the present moment, the previous moment projects the image, because it tends to project in a hidden place, so an image similar to itself appears in the present. For the future, the present projector projects the image outwards, therefore, consciousness appears as the image of the object, and experiencing the similarity is called realizing the meaning. As it is said in the Commentary on Valid Cognition ༼༡༽: Experiencing the similarity, the consciousness of experiencing the meaning is described. And, for the aspect of consciousness with aspects, in reality these two are different, but because it is similar to an image, it is possible to perceive it as merely imputed. It is considered to be with aspects. Meaning cognition is called meaning cognition because it is directed towards the object. Since consciousnesses experience self-awareness and clarity in that very moment ༼༢༽, therefore, experiencing oneself is the characteristic of self-nature ༼༣༽. Because of clearly experiencing oneself, the appearance of similarity is the object. Therefore, the object, experience, and self-nature of all consciousnesses exist separately. This is what is said. The appearance of a double moon, etc., although it appears in consciousness as the image of a double moon, it is called delusion because there is no double moon projecting the image outside. The Sutra School does not consider the object to be false, so it is delusion. For the mental consciousness and its retinue of mental factors, mental direct perception projects the image through the second moment of the object of sense consciousness, and grasps the meaning because it is similar to it. The appearance of horses and cows in dreams, and for conceptual mind, the general characteristics of past and future, and object and self-nature are mixed together, and the general characteristics do not appear clearly. Although the appearance is the nature of consciousness, it is delusion because there is no projector of the image outside. The self-awareness that all consciousnesses clearly experience is not delusion . Non-associated formations are also like the state of a clenched fist is a fist, form, etc.
