Entering through this is the supreme instruction. Now, to explain the distinctions of the vehicles individually, there are two parts: a brief presentation of the tenets of the outsiders and a broad division of the inner Buddhist scriptures. The first is that the earlier teachers of the non-Buddhists, who are outside the Buddhist teachings, considered logic to be of five types. Among them, the Samkhya school is considered the basis of all. The enjoyer is permanent and real, the self is not the agent, there are no qualities to be made, the Samkhyas contemplate. Their distinctions, their distinctions, relying slightly, the customs of the non-Buddhists become different. Thus it is said. Among them, the Samkhya, Ishvara, Vishnu, and Jina schools are eternalists, while the Purva school speaks of annihilation. First, the Samkhya school appeared when beings lived for twenty thousand years. A sage named Kapila, who attained liberation through asceticism, composed many treatises. His disciples, Bharadvaja and the son of Chur Lhung, inherited his tenets. Bharadvaja believed that all knowable things were definitely twenty-five in number, while the son of Chur Lhung believed that the nature of these twenty-five was also emptiness. Therefore, it was called the Kapila school. From Yeshe Nyingpo Kunle Dupba: The Samkhyas speak of qualities, the Kapilas consider it emptiness. Thus it is said. The divisions are: Samkhya, Kapila, and the third quality. Those basic Samkhyas of the treatises believe that all knowable things are contained in the self and the chief. This has five meanings: the self and the chief, the way to know them, the faults of not knowing, and the benefits of knowing. First, The enjoyer is permanent and real, the self is not the agent, there are no qualities to be made, the Samkhyas contemplate. As it says. The self is the purusha of sentient beings, the knower, the permanent, the solitary, devoid of action, the enjoyer because it enjoys objects, residing in the bag of the chief of the nature cause, therefore it is hidden and invisible to anyone, and possesses five qualities. There are two chiefs. The chief of the nature cause is the three of happiness, suffering, and equanimity, or the three of desire, hatred, and ignorance, or other names.

Diligence. The so-called "dust darkness" refers to the state where the three गुण (Tibetan, Devanagari, गुण, Romanized Sanskrit, guṇa, Literal Chinese meaning: गुण) are in equal proportion. It is material, permanent, and singular, serving as the cause for generating all transformations. It is not created by anything and remains hidden, unseen even by the sage Kapila ऋषि (Tibetan, Devanagari, ऋषि, Romanized Sanskrit, ṛṣi, Literal Chinese meaning: ऋषि) of the Samkhya school, possessing these five characteristics. The primary factor of the fruit of transformation is the nature of the three गुण (Tibetan, Devanagari, गुण, Romanized Sanskrit, guṇa, Literal Chinese meaning: गुण). Due to its inequality, it manifests as material in various impermanent states. If divided, there are twenty-three. The first is the great, the intellect, the inner agent, called "the wise and conscious self," like a two-sided mirror. It holds the five external objects such as form, and internally possesses the aspect or nature of knowing pleasure, pain, and equanimity. The second is the "I-mine" possessing a sense of self, from which arises the pride of clinging to a single self. If distinguished, there are three types of pride: arising from dust, arising from the elements, and arising from transformation, but all are collectively referred to as pride. Among these, the first pride generates eleven senses: the five sense faculties of ear, nose, tongue, body, and eye, and the five action faculties of mouth, hand, foot, genitals, and anus, and the mind, which is both, totaling eleven. The second pride generates the five objects of sound, smell, taste, touch, and color. From these objects, the five elements arise in sequence: space, earth, water, wind, and fire. Among these, sound and so on are said to be qualities of space. The third pride is similar to or assists the previous two, but does not generate separate fruits. These meanings are stated in the treatise of Isvara Krishna: "From nature arises the great, from the great arises pride. From pride arises the group of sixteen. The sixteen also arise from those, from the senses arise the five great elements." Thus, among the twenty-four tattvas, their nature is considered the ultimate truth, while the twenty-three transformations are considered the conventional truth. "The best of the qualities of the three गुण (Tibetan, Devanagari, गुण, Romanized Sanskrit, guṇa, Literal Chinese meaning: गुण) does not become the path of seeing. Whatever becomes the path of seeing is very deceptive, like an illusion." So it is said. These are the twenty-four primary material elements. The self and the twenty-five tattvas are included in the two truths of knowable objects and are the meanings to be understood. These
