Because the nature has not deviated from being like the sky. From the 'Essence of Awareness' by Master Garab Dorje: 'Not thinking of equality as an object, not holding it in the mind, Body and mind naturally abide in the space of equality. From that, whatever the manner of the arising of awareness, It naturally does not deviate from the space of equality. In the realm of signs, the non-realm essence abides. Since it is primordially non-dual, it cannot be differentiated. Sentient beings, Buddhas, samsara, and nirvana cannot be differentiated. Phenomena and non-phenomena are equal in the expanse, Buddhas and sentient beings are equal in the expanse, Relative and ultimate are equal in the expanse, Faults and qualities are equal in the expanse, High and low, directions and boundaries are equal in the expanse. From the time of arising, equal arising, no good or bad. At the time of abiding, equal abiding, no good or bad. At the time of liberation, equal liberation, no good or bad. Even if unequal arising, it arises from the expanse of equality. Even if unequal abiding, it abides in the expanse of equality. Even if unequal liberation, it is liberated in the expanse of equality. Arising and non-arising are primordially absent in the expanse. Abiding and non-abiding are primordially absent in the expanse. Liberation and non-liberation are primordially absent in the expanse. At the time of arising, it self-arises and takes its own place. At the time of abiding, it self-abides and takes its own place. At the time of liberation, it self-liberates and takes its own place. Arising, abiding, liberation, arising, liberation are continuous. Because it is continuous, there is no interruption between cause and effect. Because there is no cause and effect, the precipice of samsara is cut off. Without the body of the precipice, where is there a place of error? Primordially unchanging, the space of Kuntuzangpo. Without change, the nature of Vajrasattva. Merely seeing one's own face, It is simply given the name 'Buddha.' So it is said. Without error or obscuration. From the 'All-Illuminating': In the single bindu of Dzogchen, There is no duality of error and non-error. The place of error, nature is completely pure. Completely free, the single one is not abandoned. Ati's view, meditation, conduct, and fruit, Since they are primordially non-dual, There is no error or obscuration appearing as two. View, meditation, conduct, and the four fruits, Since they are primordially self-arisen wisdom, There is no error or obscuration from the aggregation of causes and conditions. Dzogchen's view, meditation, And conduct, the fruit is spontaneously accomplished, So the place of error and obscuration of meditation, striving, hope, and doubt are completely purified. Since there is nothing above me, It is unobscured, clear wisdom.

Na. Whatever appears beneath the eight vehicles is also the activity of my compassion." "Unseparated wisdom abides in itself. The unmixed, perfect wisdom purifies all downfalls." "Unseparated wisdom is self-illuminating. Confusion and obscuration are clearly inseparable." Thus it is said. Having transcended the teachings of the lower vehicles, it is shown that they have no characteristics. The mind-essence, bodhichitta, is like the sky. Without partiality or bias, its nature is non-dual. There is no view to hold, no meditation to practice, and no vows to keep. Activity is effortless, and wisdom is without obscuration. There is no purification on the ground, and no path to traverse. There are no subtle dharmas, and no dualistic connections. Transcending imputation and denial, there is no dharma or non-dharma. Like the golden land, there is no separation or distinction. The self-arisen mind-essence is like the sky, whose nature is emptiness, beyond all expression. Since the intrinsic awareness is not established anywhere, there are no teachings of view, meditation, conduct, and result; no ground, path, and levels of training; no generation and completion stages with characteristics; no vows with objects of focus; no activities to be accomplished; and no wisdom to be achieved. Without imputation or denial, there is no distinction between dharma and non-dharma. Whatever appears and arises is decisively pure as self-appearance and primordially liberated. Just as when one goes to the golden land of treasures, one cannot find ordinary earth and stones, so too, one cannot find teachings that are not liberated, things to be abandoned, or things to be done, such as view, meditation, conduct, and result. Everything is clear awareness, the exhaustion of phenomena, and the unobstructed expanse of self-appearance. Therefore, it is effortless and unachievable through the ten natures. The All-Creating King says: "This mind of bodhichitta, the essence of all, is spontaneously perfect from the beginning with its own nature. There is no need to strive or accomplish with the ten natures. My nature is like the sky, the example of all. In the sky, no one makes any effort. In the sky, there is nothing for anyone to strive for. The sky transcends all efforts and obscurations. Likewise, the essence of the All-Creating King, the mind of bodhichitta, I am beyond all objects of action. There is nothing to see in me, and no meditation to practice. Likewise, those ten natures also have nothing to do with me, who have passed beyond. Those who possess the vehicles of cause and effect, desiring to see me and my nature, space.
