Because there is no ground, there are no directions or objects, and the three times are pure and empty, therefore the essence is vast. Because appearance is unceasing, it is immeasurable and inconceivable, therefore it is vast. Whatever arises in the mind, in an instant without parts, is also empty in itself, therefore it is vast. The unceasing play appears in various ways, therefore it is vast. Awareness is empty and clear, without beginning or end, therefore it is vast. The single sphere is the source of all, without being divided into categories, therefore it is vast. This is the Buddha of the original meaning. In the self-nature of pure grasping and apprehended, the environment and mind appear as self-clear and self-luminous. All environmental appearances are empty forms, all minds are self-arising. It does not go beyond the self-born wisdom of awareness and emptiness. In the "All-Illuminating," it says: Showing the meaning of seeing without seeing. With the view of no grasping, the wisdom of no substance is thorough. Self-awareness wisdom is spontaneously accomplished. Other than that, there is nothing else. From the self-awareness wisdom of each individual, whatever arises is the sound of great wisdom. From the very beginning, it is the Bhagavan Vajradhara. Therefore, from the very beginning, one is perfectly enlightened. Without objects, grasping and apprehended are completely pure. Self-awareness abides in its own sound. In the sky of self-nature purity, the sky of the meaning of Dharma-nature is pervasive. In the sky of the meaning of Dharma-nature, the sun of self-awareness wisdom rises. Without partiality, it is clear to all. So it is said. The actions of doing and not doing are shown to be vast. In the essence of the meaning of impartiality, there is no view, empowerment, mandala, or recitation. Because there is no clinging to the paths and stages, vows, practice, or conduct, it is vast and boundless in the great expanse of the groundless. The Dharma-nature Bodhicitta is matured. In the essence of awareness, there is no view, empowerment, mandala, mantra, paths and stages, vows, or anything else. Therefore, the words and actions that show them are meaningless, and it is vast. In the intention of non-action purity, it is beyond benefit and harm. In the "All-Creating Tantra," it says: O great Bodhisattva! My self-nature is very rare. The door, view, and vows, activities, paths, and dwelling places, the eight aspects of wisdom and Dharma-nature, are the essence of the three bodies and five vehicles. The view and conduct are not in accordance with other vehicles. The door is entered through the door of no searching. The view is shown as no meditation. The vows are shown as no guarding. The activities are shown as no searching. The path is shown as no traveling. The dwelling place is shown as no cultivation. Wisdom is non-conceptual

There is no error. The nature of reality is such, it cannot be changed. Thus it is said. The spontaneous accomplishment, the vastness, showing self-purity is: All phenomena that appear, blessed with the unborn nature, without abiding or ceasing, spontaneously accomplished, free from the extremes of existence and non-existence, and utterly pure, the nature of reality, the great perfection, is vast and limitless. The luminosity and emptiness, the extent of appearances, are primordially unborn, abiding like the moon in water, blessed by the blessing of the unborn. Just as moisture pervades water. The unceasing self-appearance is clear, yet its own essence abides in utter purity, it is the vastness of the great perfection of the nature of reality. Spontaneously accomplished in the nature of appearance and emptiness, bodhichitta. It is said in the single decisive statement of the three times: All that has passed is within the sphere of the one. The single unborn, the dharmadhatu is unborn. In the unborn sphere, the miraculous displays of birth, are uncertain in any way, and without limit in any way. Thus it is said. Showing self-clarity as vast is: Luminosity, the ultimate meaning, the heart of bodhichitta, does not look to any direction, is free from the distinctions of characteristics, cannot be determined by words or measures. Free from characteristics, without permanence or annihilation, increase or decrease, going or coming. Naturally equal, vast, and utterly pure, without interruption, vast, free from all partiality. Luminosity, its own essence, without things or characteristics, therefore not established as partial. Free from thought, speech, and elaboration, therefore not understood by words or measures. Since its essence is intangible, it is free from interpretation, permanence or annihilation, increase or decrease, going or coming, vast and limitless. From within the nature of luminosity, the play of self-radiance of Samantabhadra appears without obstruction. Yet whatever appears does not go beyond the nature of luminosity. In the bhaga of Samantabhadri, samsara and nirvana, existence and appearance, are coiled. In the single taste of the nature of the great bindu, it is vast and limitless. In Kunsel it says: Self-awareness, without substance, primordially pure, in the transparent emptiness, things and characteristics are primordially utterly pure. The face of Kunsang gazes in all ten directions. The bhaga of the mother is coiled in a single realm of bliss. The three realms, without exception, are the nature of the great bindu. Thus it is said. Self-arisen vastness is: Thoughts arising and dissolving, without hope or doubt, however it may appear, it is without interruption, vast. Self-arisen, without distinction, vast and boundless. There is never a need to bind it with the shackles of grasping. Whatever appears is the play of its own energy, appearing from within the nature of luminosity, like water and waves, or a rainbow floating in its own clarity.
