Because of being busy, there is no leisure. The gods have no leisure because the basis for hearing and thinking is interrupted. Barbarians have no leisure because there is no appearance of Dharma. Heretics with wrong views have no leisure because of their inverted views. Those born in the dark ages, where the Buddha's emptiness is taught, have no leisure because even the sound of the Three Jewels is not heard. The mute have no leisure because their minds are not directed towards the Dharma. There are eight types of lack of leisure due to sudden circumstances: the five poisons are in turmoil, and the foolish are possessed by demons. The lazy and those whose ocean of bad karma has burst forth. Those who are controlled by others, who fear for their lives, and who pretend to practice Dharma. There are eight types of lack of leisure due to sudden circumstances. They are not vessels for the Dharma of liberation, and they are completely inverted. Even if someone is born as a human being in a place where Dharma can be practiced, those whose five poisons are very coarse and whose minds are always in turmoil, the foolish who are led by sinful friends, those who are possessed by demons because they have gone astray due to inverted views and practices, the lazy who want to learn Dharma but have no diligence, those who are diligent but do not develop qualities, whose ocean of bad karma has burst forth due to their heavy sins, those who are not independent and are employed by others as slaves, those who enter the Dharma for the sake of food and clothing in this life or out of fear of harm, but who practice non-Dharma due to old habits, and those who pretend to be Dharma and seek wealth, respect, and fame. These eight are also those who have no leisure in a place where the sacred Dharma can be practiced. Therefore, because there is no connection with the path of liberation, it is called inverted because it wastes leisure. There are eight types of lack of leisure due to deficient intellect: being bound by strong bonds, having extremely bad behavior, not fearing samsara, having no faith at all, not being virtuous, committing sins, not having any thought for the Dharma, and having broken vows and commitments. These are called eight types of lack of leisure due to deficient intellect. They are far from the Dharma, and the lamp of liberation is extinguished. They are bound by strong bonds of worldly possessions, such as wealth, children, relatives, and so on. Because of their bad nature, they have no human qualities, not even the size of a sesame seed, and their behavior is completely unacceptable. They have no fear of the faults of the lower realms and samsara, or of the sufferings of this life.

Or, even if praising liberation and the Three Jewels, or seeing an object with qualities, there is not the slightest faith. (1) Liking unwholesome misdeeds, the three doors are not subdued and pacified. There is no appearance of merit, virtue, and the holy Dharma, like placing grass in front of a dog. Having entered the common vehicle, because the bodhicitta and vows are broken, there is no place to go from the lower realms. Having entered the secret mantra vehicle, the samaya with the lama and Dharma friends is broken. These eight are far from the holy Dharma and are called the extinguishing of the lamp of liberation. Breaking the vows is like this, in the Samadhiraja Sutra it says: By breaking the precepts, one will go to the lower realms, Even hearing much cannot save one from that. So it is said. Breaking the samaya is like this, in the Dohas it says: Alas! Having given the ground of the teachings, but not having samaya, It is like a king seizing a person to be punished. The hook of karmic maturation seizes the life force, Pouring boiling wrathful water into the mouth is extremely difficult to endure. So it is said. The meaning of the summary is: Because we are not born in these places, Generate joy and strive to practice the holy Dharma. Like this, I am not born in these twenty-four unfree states, Relying on the holy lama, I am able to practice the profound Dharma, thinking how wonderful it is, I must always strive in virtuous Dharma, and spend the days and nights. The second reason for the difficulty of finding a human body is: Like this, seeing just the bodies of sentient beings, Obtaining a human body is like obtaining a Chakravartin. Among human bodies, those who have faith and practice Dharma, Because they are even rarer, it is like obtaining Buddhahood. Therefore, one should always contemplate leisure and endowment. Thinking of ordinary sentient beings, It is as vast as the expanse of space. The sentient beings of Jambudvipa are like a part of the sky in the eye of a needle. Let alone the other Jambudvipa people. If one observes the creatures appearing in a forest, or a stream, or a puddle, Obtaining a human body is like obtaining the amount of a Chakravartin. If one thinks of humans, India, China, South, North, Mon, Nepal, Dokham, Mongolia, etc., and each market town, although there are many gatherings, Those who have entered the Buddha's teachings and follow and learn with faith, Are even rarer than the Buddha appearing in the world.
