It is considered to be seventy-two. As it says in the "Buddha's Crown Sutra": "Seventy-two thousand channels, the lineage of the channels has been explained." Just like that. The winds also act as the five elements, with different numbers, but in common, they travel twenty-one thousand six hundred times in one day and night. In short, the classification and aggregation of channels, winds, and bindus vary in number according to the views of each tantra, and the names are different, but the generation stage and completion stage are the same in temperature, so they are the same in traversing the ground and path. The difference in the number of more or less is because of the afflictions and channels and faculties of each tantra, so the way of practicing the path is different. Just like the road to Lhasa, when coming from different places, the number and names of the legs of the guest road, mountains, villages, and roads are different. So, "the ground, the path, and all the Buddhas are one," since everything is of one taste, there is no need to rely on it, isn't it just liberation through awareness? Answer: This statement is established because the path is the most important, and everything becomes one in the meaning of mind-essence, so it shows the practice of the path, but it does not mean that the essence is one, so there is no need for others. Alas! A person who is separated from precious empowerment is like a lowly outcaste who also hopes to become a king. And so on, as well as the empowerment, vows, skillful means mudras, and the order of the winds have been spoken. Foolish people talk nonsense, because the meaning of the sutras and tantras is as far away as heaven and earth, and abandoning the Dharma will only disturb one's own continuum. Therefore, the basis of those great secret mantras, the spontaneously accomplished mandala, exists in oneself like the sun and moon, and through empowerment, it is made into the energy that can mature into the path, and through the union of the generation stage and completion stage of the path, the fruit is achieved as Vajradhara, thereby turning the wheel of Dharma. As it says in the "Two Examinations Tantra": "The generation stage and the completion stage, after the two stages are equally established, the Vajra Holder teaches the Dharma." Now, the explanation of the text itself: The great yogi, in the state of equality of all dharmas, becomes one taste pure in the great Madhyamaka, especially the five aggregates, the eighteen realms, and the twelve sources, knowing them as one mandala and meditating as such, whatever it is, takes the supreme skillful means king as a companion.

Ra. The nature of the inseparability of the true essence of generation and completion, dual union. By meditating on this, one is said to attain accomplishment in this life. Through the door of the great yoga unsurpassed tantra, those who desire enlightenment, in the state of realizing the opportunity as vast as the sky in the profound dharma realm of all equality, like establishing it in the great Madhyamaka. Without any conceptual elaborations and commitments, in the state of knowing the great pure equality as self-purified, in the realm of the unborn sky. Vastly, all the aggregates, elements, and sources of phenomena encompassed by samsara and nirvana are clarified as originally abiding in the great mandala of deities. The appearance in the outer realm is the pure abode of Akanishta, the dense array of Sukhavati, the land of bliss. Everything appears but is without inherent existence, the great earth of blazing jewels, equal and naturally luminous. The arrangement of peaceful and wrathful mandalas, doors, stairs, and so on, are completely perfect. The five aggregates of the body and the five elements are clear as the essence of the five Buddha families, fathers and mothers, and the assembly of Bodhisattvas, fathers and mothers, and gatekeepers, so all forms are appearance-emptiness, all sounds are resonance-emptiness, all minds are awareness-emptiness, and the three mandalas of the inexhaustible adornment wheel of body, speech, and mind are meditated upon in the nature of illusion. That which is clear is the generation stage, and that which is without inherent existence is spontaneously accomplished as the completion stage with the clarity of samadhi, so generation and completion are dual union. Meditating on the great truth of non-duality, one practices yoga in four sessions or in a continuous stream, and all appearances and movements of the mind, good and bad, arise as the king of methods, equal and complete play. All desirable qualities are made into the path by the form of deities entering deities or offering to deities. Thus, knowing the appearance as the object as the mother, and uniting food, drink, clothing, etc., from the nature of the father, this play is the deity entering the deity. As it is said in the Illusion Sutra: Forms, sounds, smells, tastes, touches, etc., are used by knowing their ripening as the mother. One should not indulge in ordinary appearances, for if one clings to desirable qualities and the five poisons enter one's own mind, it is not suitable for the path of secret mantra. Do not stray from generation and completion.
