It is finished. Therefore, all proofs of those who assert entities are like the effort to heal a dream city, so it is much better if the teeth of a lion are not infested by worms. Whatever the desires of others, each of these reasons grinds them into dust, so the Buddha, the Subduer, the Bhagavan, praised the Madhyamikas as being the most supreme of all. In the Mother Sutra, it says: 'Subhuti, this Dharma-nature is very profound, and it is to be understood by wise and clear-minded beings who are gentle in mind, but it is not the domain of logicians.' In the Clear Words, it says: 'Those who are well-arranged in speech and not disturbed by the winds of logic are to be made clear.' Here, all those who assert entities are called logicians because they appear to their own thoughts and establish meaning. There are two times to examine this principle: when mutually debating philosophical tenets, and when liberating through the path of wisdom. Even when debating philosophical tenets, since there is no acceptance of one's own side, there is no need to establish a proposition or refute faults, but rather to arrange the contradictions within the very texts of those who assert entities. If I say that I have some proposition, in the Refutation of Debate, it says: 'If some object is determined by direct perception, etc., if it is to be established or refuted, since it does not exist, I have no argument.' Even when examining through the path of wisdom, in all of the external objects of various appearances, the internal minds of various thoughts and non-thoughts, the experiences of samadhi and meditation, etc., walking, sitting, eating, walking, happiness, unhappiness, speaking, thinking of Dharma, thinking of non-Dharma, sleeping, falling asleep, waking up, practicing Dharma, etc., there should be no acceptance or thought of 'This is my own tenet,' 'This is other,' 'Samsara,' 'Nirvana,' 'Entity,' 'Non-entity,' 'Happiness,' 'Suffering,' 'To be abandoned,' 'To be adopted,' 'Dharma,' 'Non-Dharma,' etc. Since there is no attachment to names or aims anywhere, everything that is done should be examined. Since the Middle Way is extremely free from elaboration, like the state of equipoise of the three noble ones, the nature of the appearance of freedom from elaboration should be examined like the nature of a water moon and illusion. In the Compendium, it says: For example,

A skilled carpenter craftsman makes men and women, The made (dolls) also do all things. Likewise, a Bodhisattva skilled in wisdom, With non-discriminating wisdom, does all things. Thus it is said. Second, there are three ways to establish without obstructing the appearance in conventional terms: the basis is the Madhyamaka two truths, the path is the Madhyamaka two accumulations, and the result is the Madhyamaka two bodies. The first has five: the nature of the two truths, the etymology, the definition, the classification, and the purpose. The nature is that all dharmas are without inherent existence, of which, the nature of the conventional is the object of thought by mind and senses, and the nature of the ultimate is the object of the wisdom of individual self-awareness, free from the extremes of elaboration, both truths are without inherent existence. The Entering (the Middle Way) says: Because there is no inherent existence in either of the two truths, they are neither permanent nor annihilated. Thus it is said. If you think that individual self-awareness and mind are one, it is true because of ignorance of terms. However, mind here refers to conceptual thought, and mind is considered conventional. Thus it is said. The object of conceptual thought, the senses, and attention are all conventional, and are only delusions. Individual self-awareness is non-delusive wisdom, beyond speech, thought, and expression, as in the Praise to the Mother by Rāhula: Speech, thought, and expression are absent, Prajñāpāramitā, unborn, unceasing, the nature of space, the object of individual self-awareness wisdom, to the mother of the Buddhas of the three times, I prostrate. Thus it is said. The Name Praise says: Individual self-awareness is immovable, the supreme first, possessing the three bodies. Thus it is said. Considering mind and self-awareness as one in nature is the view of the Mind-Only school, which is a confusion of occasions here. The etymology is that what appears like an illusion but is without inherent existence is conventional. For the time being, in the appearance of delusion, each of their definitions does not deceive, so it is called truth, that is, the object of mind together with various appearances and all parts of clinging to reality. The Entering (the Middle Way) says: Because ignorance obscures its own nature, it is conventional, and whatever is falsely perceived as true by it, the Thus-gone One said is the conventional truth. Thus it is said. The object of appearance, whether true or false, deluded or not, is not established, because it is without inherent existence. However, the mind thinks this is
