From. Seeing that they are the same in vows, the Buddhas who eliminate this dispute have not shown that there is anything at all. So it is. The contradiction in the system is that grasping and grasper are impossible, and that it is contradictory to desire the direct perception of knowing the minds of others. If all that is grasped is imputed, then other people will have no mind. The contradiction is that the selflessness of phenomena and the mind are desired as ultimate truth. The self of phenomena is the essence of phenomena, so it is because the mind is desired to have essence. Also, due to the difference in faculties, when a Hearer sees a single pot turned into a rain of dust, he sees that there is nothing to grasp as "I" and "mine," which is the selflessness of the person. The Great Vehicle, on top of that, does not establish the pot as a phenomenon, so it is called the selflessness of phenomena because it realizes that there is no basis. In short, the non-establishment of consciousness and its object is the selflessness of the person, and the realization that the object appears as a phenomenon without a basis is established as the selflessness of phenomena." "It is contradictory to desire mind(1) and perfect reality as ultimate truth by view, and not to perceive anything by meditation. It is impossible to obtain the result by meditating on something that does not match the state of the cause and the way of grasping. It is like seeking the goal in the east but looking west and going. By this method, it is refuted to desire the eight aggregates for things, to desire permanence, and to desire that the profound meaning exists but cannot be shown. Here, even if the eight aggregates are named as an illusion, there is neither one nor many from awareness itself, and there is no permanence or impermanence in substance and continuity. It is merely an appearance in the eyes of a child who confuses the mind, and it is desired to meditate in a way that does not objectify the nature of phenomena that does not establish anything. Now, to explain the distinctions of each in detail, whether or not one desires the appearance of an object in consciousness, the fact that the aspect is known as true or false is not correct, but a combination of discriminations. The one who desires that one's own consciousness appears as an object that appears variously outside is the Mind-Only True Aspect, and the one who says that it is not consciousness but false in consciousness, so it appears in the aspect where the latent consciousness is stable, is the Mind-Only False Aspect. However, deviating from the meaning of the Middle Way, each of their discriminations moves around and mixes, resulting in clinging to their own tenets. Therefore, the first thing to state is what they desire: the two Mind-Only ones, the outer.

Moreover, things have no self-nature, there is mind within, and superficially it agrees with introspective self-awareness, but it disagrees on whether things exist or not. Therefore, Brahmins like Shamkara Ananda and others believe that the appearance of what is grasped is merely a dharma, and the grasper is merely its own nature, because it is clear and knowing, like various kinds of happiness and suffering. They say that it is impossible for things not to exist, that all dharmas are mental objects, impermanent, and other-powered, and that the completely imputed refers to clinging to this as self. Here, their school believes in three kinds of true cognition: cognitions with separate aspects, a multitude of aspects, and non-duality of diversity. The first view is that some people think that the appearance of things like mountains is itself knowledge, but because the knowledge of the appearance of what is grasped and clinging are different entities, just as when a boiled egg dries, the yellow and white directly exist, the knowledge of blue appearance and blue clinging are directly considered two truths. The second view is that some people think that just as one can distinguish how many aspects there are, knowledge can also be distinguished, so knowing the five fingers is considered five true entities. It is believed that two aspects, such as untruth, cannot appear in one knowledge. The third view is that all appearances, such as blue, yellow, stable, and moving, appear in one knowledge, and it is believed that their nature is true, although they appear as many collections, they are considered to be appearances of the same knowledge. There are two ways to refute these: there is no reason to establish, and there is harm. The first point is: the meaning of the sign called clear and knowing, is it the knowable, or is it merely the act of knowing? Appearance is knowledge, because it is knowable, and because it is merely the act of knowing, these statements are not established, because there is concern that things may also belong to knowing, therefore doubt arises about the opposite. That is simultaneous, because there is no connection, it cannot be known, and because it excludes non-simultaneity and similarity, it cannot be known. It also cannot be said that it is excluded in the inconsistent aspect, because even if that excludes things, it cannot exclude what is grasped as non-things, therefore it cannot be established as the nature of knowledge, just as excluding the source of the image, it cannot be established in the mirror. There are five harms: it is not appropriate to be illusion or non-illusion, it is not appropriate to be one or many, it will necessarily become the nature of knowledge, it will necessarily become clear, and it is too extreme
