All non-conditioned phenomena and all forms arise dependent on two things: cause and master. For example, the cause of a pot is clay, and the master is the potter. Therefore, when the arising and abiding of the mind cease, forms, sounds, etc., will not appear. The Treasury of Knowledge says: "Four, mind and mental factors; three, equipoise of two kinds; the rest arise from these two." The appearing wisdom is, in general, there are three objects of appearance of knowledge: the general appearance of things, like the generation stage of a deity; the appearance of non-existence, like the appearance of two moons; and the self-characteristic of things, like a pot. Thus, all the appearing phenomena encompassed by these three categories are real knowledge, and are no different from real phenomena. Hidden objects are: the general appearance of things and the appearance of non-existence. "There is no separation from that itself, because it appears in delusion with and without discrimination." The self-characteristic of things that appears without delusion is called the image given by the thing. This appearance as a pot is not a pot but the mind, and the pot is actually something that no one can ever see. The appearance and understanding of the pot are no different, and it exists hidden. Similarly, swords, etc., that strike the body also exist hidden. Therefore, the meaning of saying that knowledge knows the object is not that real knowledge directly and nakedly knows the real object, but that in the second moment when the object pot arises, knowledge arises in the form of what the pot is like, and it is assumed that knowledge has grasped the object of knowledge, just as when a son does not grasp his father's face, but when the father's face arises in a certain way, it is said that he has grasped his father's face. The Commentary on Valid Cognition says: "How to grasp when times are different? If it is said that knowledge, with wisdom, can establish the form of knowledge, then know that the cause itself is grasped." Therefore, all knowledge has two aspects: self-experience and object-directedness. Only object-directedness is the same as the thing. The Ornament of the Middle Way says: "Self-nature is clearly experienced, and object-directedness is the same as the thing. Therefore, the object-directedness and experience of all knowledge are different." When many particles gather to form a coarse object, the particles cannot touch each other, because they will be divided into six parts. Circling is also impossible, because contact with the particles of light and darkness will divide them into six parts.

Therefore. However, it abides without touching attachment. This is also because it adheres without interval, and it is non-touching because the face does not touch. The sense faculty is: the part of these two bright eyes that can generate consciousness when the substance is hidden. Therefore, the sense faculty of others cannot be directly determined, because the ability cannot be directly determined before the fruit is seen. One's own sense faculty is hidden when eye consciousness and so on arise, and when it arises, it is determined by the power of the object consciousness that holds the meaning of the sense faculty and the self-awareness that is the object of eye consciousness. Aggregates that do not possess arising and ceasing, etc., are among the three: form, mind, and mental factors. By merely negating both that and other, it is negated. It is completely imputed, like a rabbit's horn. There is no difference in meaning from those three, so it becomes merely a name. From the time that Hearers, Solitary Realizers, Arhats, and Buddhas pass into Nirvana, the aggregates together with the seeds are like clouds dissolving in the sky, or like ice melting in the sea. Since it is inseparable from the cessation of the realm of objects, even a particle or a name is completely pacified without remainder, like the Vaisheshika school, but however many things are separated, that many things are obtained, and it is not a substantialist. This is how it is asserted. To refute that, like the previous party, there are seven. To refute the four conditions, there are five: cause, immediate condition, object condition, dominant condition, and refutation of the mode of generation. The first is: the cause itself does not exist, because the result is not established, its cause is not established, so they are mutually dependent, and because it prevents ability, and because it is not a substantial cause, it is impossible to truly benefit. The Four Hundred Verses says: Without a result, the cause does not have the nature of a cause. Therefore, all causes should become the result. Like that. The immediate condition also does not exist, because cause and effect do not meet, and if the nature of the cause exists when the result arises, then cause and effect are simultaneous, and if it does not exist, then the cause has ceased, so it does not meet the result, and it should become interrupted. That verse says: If phenomena do not arise, then cessation is not reasonable. Therefore, the immediate condition is not reasonable. If it ceases, then what is the condition? Like that. The object condition is not established, the object is also
