From obtaining to the tenth bhumi, ultimately liberation is achieved, and the supreme state of Vajradhara, the crown jewel, is accomplished. In the Definitive Utterance Peak it says: The flesh is thin, all tremble, The knot is the illusion of samsara, Liberation is the wisdom of nirvana. Thus, when the bhumis are obtained in sequence, When one has reached the realization of the higher, Those who proceed to Buddhahood, These qualities are like the sun and its rays. Just as when the sun rises, its rays appear simultaneously, When the realization of the bhumis and paths is obtained, its qualities of abandonment and realization, such as the eye and clairvoyance, arise infallibly, this is the nature of reality. Now, refuting the wrong views of other schools: Some say the qualities of the bhumis and paths are provisional meanings, Some think that even if realization is attained, there are no qualities, Believing that both existence and non-existence are foolish minds, Clinging and fixating on their own views, They abandon the faultless Dharma by slandering it. Without encountering the true Dharma and the qualified spiritual friends who teach it, Without the appearance of hearing and contemplation, Relying on the Dharma and teachers of fools, being confident only in the fact that nothing has been accomplished, Calling the present consciousness the mind, considering illusion as the mind, taking this as the path, and clinging to the aspect of emptiness, some say that the qualities of the bhumis and paths of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are provisional meanings to entice children, and in reality, they do not exist. Others think that even if one attains the realization of the four equal yogas, like a river, without cultivation, from the first to the tenth bhumi, the qualities described in the bhumis and paths have both existence and non-existence. This is like saying that there is no sun in the world, or that even if there is a sun, there are two kinds of sun, one with light and one without light. Merely stating these schools' views, if one has discernment, one will understand, so there is no need to argue, as it says in the Pramanavarttika: Because the paths of error are endless, They are not elaborated here. Such a system is because of clinging to bad views and slandering the holy Dharma. When hearing the true Dharma that is not in accordance with it, one angrily holds wrong views, with the nature of clinging to extremes and the view of the aggregates, the fire of attachment and aversion burns the seeds of virtue, and one wanders in the lower realms for a long time.

As stated in the Four Hundred Verses: If one is attached to one's own side and dislikes the side of others, one will not attain nirvana, and dualistic actions will not be pacified. Therefore, regarding whether something is naturally mistaken or not, one should merely examine and then accept or reject it. One should not be attached to what is not mistaken or hate what is mistaken, because anger is the cause of increasing sin. When determining the meaning of the Dharma, one should know what is mistaken and what is not mistaken, and then engage accordingly. Scolding causes great obscurations, as stated in the Fourteenth Root Downfall: Criticizing the tenets of oneself or others is the sixth. And as stated in the King of Samadhi Sutra: Those who, having heard this Dharma, become attached to it, and having heard what is not Dharma, become angry, being overcome by pride and arrogance, fall into error, and experience suffering due to the power of pride. Therefore, for all those who have entered the wrong path as described, if it is possible to turn them back with compassion, then do so. If it is not possible, do not argue, but think: May they one day turn away from this wrong path. And keep the mind in a state of equanimity of all dharmas, without partiality or attachment. As stated in the Four Hundred Verses: Those who possess the great nature of non-contention have no factions at all. For those who have no factions, where would other factions be? Like that. Now, to summarize the meaning in a way that is consistent with the qualities of the grounds and paths: Here, the accumulation of qualities comes from meditating on the path, increasing like summer crops. Because one desires enlightenment by traversing the grounds and paths, although the body and wisdom are like wish-fulfilling jewels, they are not material examples, but from non-conceptual spontaneous accomplishment, they pervade limitless beings up to the peak of existence. This explains that the views of the sutras and tantras are consistent. Just as the grounds and paths progress upwards, so too do the qualities increase, like summer grasses, trees, forests, and crops. At the time of ultimate Buddhahood, the examples of the wish-fulfilling vase and the wish-fulfilling tree are also without conceptualization, but the spontaneously accomplished body, wisdom, and activity (1) are explained as examples of the benefit of sentient beings pervading space. It is not that the ten powers of one's own self-aware wisdom, and the compassion without object, and loving-kindness, etc., are said to be without examples. Therefore, even though mind and mental factors dissolve into the dharmadhatu, the body and individual self-aware wisdom naturally appear like the sun and moon.
