When the warm signs appear, one sees the face of the Buddha's emanation body, and because the subtle achievements of the divine eye, clairvoyance, and magical powers are accomplished, one is able to emanate and transform. This is because one cultivates the four legs of magical power, such as desire, and gains mastery over them. Those with coarse minds think that magical powers are attained on the path of joining, but not on the great path of accumulation. This is not so. The Ornament of the Sutras says: "Abiding in the door of Dharma, the Tathagatas directly instruct, thus leading one from the thicket of faults, forcefully drawing one and placing one in enlightenment." Thus it is said. At that time, in the stream of Dharma, for the sake of the Buddhas' peace and the attainment of vast wisdom, one goes to all realms of the world. Thus it is said. The door of Dharma and the stream of Dharma are the path of attaining the samadhi of the stream of Dharma on the great path of accumulation. Therefore, on the great path of accumulation, there are the divine eye, clairvoyance, magical powers, and the samadhi of the stream of Dharma. Now, to explain the parts in detail: On the small path of accumulation, the four mindfulnesses are: visualizing the body as a deity is the mindfulness of the body. Transforming arising feelings and conceptual thoughts into wisdom is the mindfulness of feelings. The practice of pacifying the elaboration of mind and mental factors is the stage of perfecting the mindfulness of the mind. When all phenomena that appear are known to be illusory, the sutras say that it is the mindfulness of Dharma. Thus it is said. The Noble Illusion Sutra says: "Whatever mantra practitioner strives in yoga, blessing oneself, is the mindfulness of the body, appearing as the nature of a deity, like a reflection. The state of all conceptual thoughts being great wisdom is the nature of feelings, which is great bliss. One who is completely victorious over the side of elaboration, here, the mind is without object. Training the nature of reflections as illusion is the nature of Dharma." Thus it is said. That is the path of accumulation. In the middle stage, the order of the four correct abandonments is: Having cultivated in this way, the four attachments to virtue and non-virtue are the four correct abandonments. One strives to prevent unwholesome dharmas that have not arisen from arising, and makes effort to destroy those that have arisen. One causes wholesome dharmas that have not arisen to arise, and makes effort to increase those that have arisen.

Exert effort and diligence. Abiding in the generation and completion stages, in order to prevent unwholesome things that have not arisen from arising, to purify unwholesome things that have arisen, to generate wholesome things that have not arisen, and to increase wholesome things that have arisen, abandon the four attachments that hold the antidotes as true, exert yourself with your body, and practice with the effort of speech." "(1)" "With the diligence of joy in your heart, hold your mind without distraction. The Sutra says, 'In order not to generate unwholesome things that have not arisen, exert effort and diligence, and hold your mind.'" The Path of Accumulation: Also, meditating on the four legs of great miraculous power, without distraction from the meaning of the generation and completion stages, with one-pointedness, through mindfulness, aspiration, diligence, and mind, from meditating on faultless and peaceful samadhi, when the wind-mind becomes workable and miraculous power is perfectly accomplished, travel to pure lands and listen to the Dharma from the Nirmāṇakāya. When diligently practicing the generation and completion stages day and night, hold the meaning with mindfulness without losing it. Meditate with aspiration. Discern the wrong path and the non-wrong path with diligence. Meditate with one-pointedness of mind without distraction. Thus, when samadhi is accomplished, relying on the miraculous power of the workable wind-mind, travel to the pure lands of the Nirmāṇakāyas of Buddhas such as Padmacana, listen to the Dharma from the Buddhas, purify the defilements of the elements, and see the face of the Yidam deity, receiving prophecies. Then, with the workable wind-mind of the Dharma-wheel, the qualities of the path of joining arise, namely, through faith, diligence, mindfulness, samadhi, and wisdom, meditating on the five faculties at the peak of heat, mastering the nature of dreams and illusions, accomplishing truthful speech, and possessing the qualities of practice, the body is free from lice, fleas, insects, and ants. Previously, with faith in the meaning of the union of the generation and completion stages, and through diligence, mindfulness, samadhi, and wisdom, having become independent through meditation, becoming capable of subduing what is to be abandoned is the five faculties. With those five faculties, the non-conceptual wisdom of heat and light, symbolized by signs such as the exhaustion of doubt and lack of leisure, the wisdom of the peak of increase, obtaining stable roots of virtue, and realizing that all phenomena are like dreams. The Ornament of Clear Realization says: Even in dreams, all phenomena are seen as dreams, etc.
