Easy to please, easy to nourish, possessing the perfection of beautiful rituals and conduct, and not abandoning the practice of serving the lama; being disciplined, peaceful, pure, and fearless, and not abandoning the practice of shame and knowing embarrassment.(4) Being skilled in the profound and vast Dharma, yet conforming to the thoughts of the world; being naturally upright and gentle, pleasant to associate with, conforming to the minds of sentient beings, yet not associating with violent and immoral people; delighting in generosity and discipline, being unchanging in intimacy, delighting in rituals and abiding, yet not dwelling on everything, and not discriminating in the realm of practice; even with latent tendencies, entanglements, and pains, not abandoning the effort to dispel the afflictions of other sentient beings etc. Such a lama, for listeners who respect the Dharma and the teacher, seek liberation, possess wisdom, are impartial, and have become vessels for seeking the meaning, when expounding the profound and vast sacred Dharma of liberation, it is crucial to first examine the vessel: Just as food differs for infants and the elderly, so too does their Dharma differ in nature. For example, in the world, newly born infants are first given warm and very soft food; if given coarse and hard food, it will turn into poison; when they grow up, food is like a bunch of grapes, diverse. For beginners, the faults of samsara and the benefits of liberation, the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment, the impermanence of life, etc., should be taught to make them renounce samsara; initially, all dharmas should be taught as being without inherent existence, etc. Furthermore, for those of inferior intellect, the Dharma of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas should be taught; for those of intermediate intellect, the Vehicle of Reasoning should be taught; for those of superior intellect, the Secret Mantra Vajrayana should be taught. Or, for the three types of people of inferior capacity, the three vehicles of Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas should be taught; for the three types of people of intermediate capacity, the three sections of Kriya, Charya, and Yoga should be taught; for the three types of people of superior capacity, the three stages of Generation Stage, Completion Stage, and Great Perfection should be taught. As it is said in the Ati Great Perfection Tantra: For the three inferior ones, what is taught is: Vinaya, Sutra, Abhidharma; For the three intermediate ones, what is definitely taught is: Kriya (藏文:ཀྲཱི་ཡ་,梵文天城体:क्रिया,梵文罗马拟音:kriyā,action), Yoga (藏文:ཡོ་ག་,梵文天城体:योग,梵文罗马拟音:yoga, union), Upa Yoga (藏文:ཨུ་པའོ།,梵文天城体:उप,梵文罗马拟音:upa, near). For the three superior sequential ones, Generation Stage, Completion Stage, and Great Perfection are taught. So it is said. Shantideva also said: The supreme Dharma is not taught to the inferior, The vast Dharma

the vessel of. Do not mix inferior Dharma with it. As it is said. How to examine? It is best to observe the faculties and latent powers of the beings to be tamed with clairvoyance, and then teach in accordance with them. If there is no clairvoyance, then examine by associating with the intermediate. If that is not possible, then it is most important to examine by asking the lowest. If it is not so, one Dharma cannot mature different kinds of intelligence, so what is beneficial to some becomes poison to others, just as milk that is beneficial to a calf becomes poison to a snake. Therefore, the Buddha also taught countless Dharma doors and categories in accordance with intelligence. As it is said in the Treasury of Knowledge: "The antidotes to all actions are the corresponding aggregates of Dharma." Just like that. If one is enough, then it is meaningless for the Buddha to say so much, but it is not so. Nowadays, many people say that it is enough to recognize the current intellect, and it is meaningless to teach too much. If that is enough, the Buddha does not need to teach others. In general, the current intellect must also rely on listening and Guru Yoga, so this is falling into self-contradiction. Therefore, for intelligence, the first, middle, and last stages, whichever is greater and deeper as an antidote, therefore, it is advised to teach according to that. In short, just as the kinds of intelligence are different, so are the Dharmas, so it is advised to teach what kind of Dharma is suitable for what kind of person. From then on, it is explained in the way of gradual guidance. Therefore, one can know the order of the vehicles, increase merits, have no fear and fear, have no mistakes, and can combine view and practice. When beings who desire liberation come, the wise spiritual friend observes with skillful means, combines with his faculties, and guides him to any of the three Bodhisattvas' paths. If he is a karmic person who has practiced the path from before, then also from what kind of Dharma connection he has, and then guides him to a higher level in a sudden way. If there is no clairvoyance, then observe with reason and let him enter any of the three vehicles. In particular, for the guidance of those with the Mahayana nature, there are three ways: like a Garuda bird descending from a high place, a path without any effort; like a monkey climbing up from below, a path with stages; and guiding from the middle path. Although there are three ways of saying it, for those with karmic connections, this can be liberated, but for those with shallow karmic connections
