It is called a monastery. From there, closer by half a yojana, it is called the boundary. Eight yojanas make one yojana, which is four thousand bows. By this, all the places and body sizes of the King of Mountains, etc., are measured. Second part, the smallest unit of time is a kshana, which is one hundred and twentieth of one sixty-fourth of a snap of the fingers. Sixty kshanas are one tatkshana, thirty tatkshanas are one lava, thirty day-nights are one month, twelve months are one year. The smallest unit of time, kshana, refers to one part of the sixty-four kshanas that pass when a strong person snaps his fingers. Some also think it is sixty. One hundred and twenty kshanas are one kshana. Sixty kshanas are one tatkshana. There are nine hundred tatkshanas in a day, so it is nine hundredths of a day. Thirty tatkshanas are one lava. Thirty lavas are one day-night. Moreover, when traveling north, the day is long, and when traveling south, the night is long, and when traveling equally, the day and night are equal. Moreover, in summer, the wind pushing the sun's disc is small, and the pulling force is strong, so it goes close to the side of Mount Sumeru, and goes to the north of Jambudvipa (Rose Apple Continent). Because Mount Sumeru protects it, it is slow. In winter, traveling south from the continent, the pushing force is strong, so it goes too far south and gets close to the inside of the iron fence mountain. Because of this action, the sun's rays are touched by the wind, and the action of being far away is combined, so it is cold. In summer, there is a halo from Mount Sumeru, so it is hot. Moreover, in winter, at the solstice, there are twelve lavas in the day and eighteen lavas in the night. In summer, at the solstice, these two are reversed, with eighteen lavas in the day and twelve lavas in the night. When day and night are equal, both have fifteen lavas. Thirty day-nights are one month. Moreover, at the time of birth, fifteen days is half of the waxing moon, and at the time of waning, fifteen days is half of the waning moon. Also, thirty parts of the daytime (note each two: combining day and night into one is half a month of merit, which is the white side. Combining thirty parts of the night is fifteen, which is the non-meritorious dark moon, which is the black side.) It is also said that way. In this way, daytime

Everything is the waxing moon, and all nights are called the waning moon. Therefore, the dates divided by the waxing and waning of the moon are the waxing moon and the waning moon, and there are also two kinds of sayings divided by the rising and falling of the sun: the waxing moon and the waning moon. The universal application of secret mantras is: to begin offerings and almsgiving on the waning moon, and to secretly practice to attain accomplishment. Just as it is said in the Tantra of Nectar Ash Union. Twelve months are one year, and spring has three months: the first month of spring, the second month of spring, and the last month of spring. Summer has three months: the first month of summer, the second month of summer, and the last month of summer. Autumn has three months: the first month of autumn, the second month of autumn, and the last month of autumn. Winter has three months: the first month of winter, the second month of winter, and the last month of winter, totaling twelve months. These four continents and eight subcontinents cycle in sequence to twelve, which are the twelve internal and external birthplaces and half of the twelve links of dependent origination, and also become the so-called twelve houses. That is, starting from the middle month of spring, they are in order: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio. The bow and Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, the months start from the middle month of spring. That's how it is. Among them, the Cancer palace in the middle month of summer and the Capricorn palace in the middle month of winter are the places where the sun deflects the most. One year has to abandon six leap days, starting from the waning moon of the last month of autumn, and when half of the six months have passed, it is impossible to maintain the leap day, that is, it will become the first day of the month when the sky is empty. Therefore, the moon moves in the sky in two ways, fast and slow. When the moon moves slowly, thirty days are counted as one month, and when it moves fast, twenty-nine days are counted as one month. There are six months in a year that cannot maintain the leap day, and six months that can maintain it. This is also due to the decrease in the operation of the rough and fierce winds in the bodies of sentient beings. Each breath is counted as a pair, and the difference in the increase and decrease of six breaths will also lead to the surplus and deficit of dates. Therefore, here will appear the situation of abandoning the remaining parts of those months. Usually, for people who are in their prime, 21,600 breaths run in one day and night. If the breath decreases, there will be a leap day, which will lead to the abandonment of the month. Some teachers also believe that one year has 360 days.
