Now also, there is no difference on the earth. Similarly, although bodies are different, there is no difference in the self. As mentioned before. As the basis of arising and ceasing, all sentient beings arise from the nature of the self, and liberation also occurs in the nature of the self. As it was said before, "Various existences arise from it." "Like the silk of a silkworm, the wise merge into it, and will not take rebirth." Therefore, there is nothing more profound than this. In the secret words it says, "There is nothing more supreme than it, nothing more sacred than it, nothing more subtle than it, so these various things, their root is the same." Therefore, although there is only one self, it appears as many lives in illusion, just as when a hundred vases are made, there are a hundred spaces in them. Those who have exhausted their illusions merge into that great self, and cannot distinguish which is first and which is last. Just as when one or two vases are broken, the spaces of those vases merge into the great space and cannot be distinguished. As it says in that very text, "When vases and the like are broken, the spaces of the vases and the like, will merge into the great space, similarly, life also merges into this self." In reality, the nature of knowledge, the indestructible emptiness, is the self. Now, being accustomed to not thinking about anything, so at the time of death, the body is destroyed and life ceases, but the four elements all merge into their respective natures. The empty mind is inseparable from the emptiness of all dharmas, so consciousness merges into the nature of space and is liberated. Nowadays, there are very many people who say this, it seems like saying don't put a skull on your head. Not being stained by the faults and virtues of sentient beings means not being stained by good and bad, pleasure and pain, birth and death, joy and sorrow, virtue and sin. Sentient beings appear to have wise and foolish, good and bad lineages, but these do not exist in the nature of the self, just as vases have differences in size and quality, but there is nothing like that in space. As it says in that very text, "There, all phenomena, can be seen to merge into the self. Children, wise men, outcastes and Brahmins, etc., are all equal." Similarly, gods and humans enjoying happiness, the self will not be happy because of it, and the suffering of evil destinies, the self will not change because of it. Just like the space of a vase

Like increase and decrease, the vast sky does not increase or decrease. The Secret Word says: "Just like the sky in a vase." "When obscured by dust and smoke, everything is not the same." "Happiness and so on are also not mine." So it is said. When a vase is formed or broken, the sky does not have birth or death. Similarly, sentient beings appear to be born and die, but the self does not change. As it says in the same text: "Just as a vase arises and decays, the sky is not its nature. Just as sentient beings arise and decay, because it is the self, I do not desire the self." So it is said. Some ignorant people commit crimes and are punished, but the king does not punish the crimes. Similarly, some people commit sins and are born in hell, but the self is not born there. As the Secret Word says: "Although dwelling in the body, it is not attached, and although acting, it is not stained. Even if acting as desired, the king will not be harmed by sins." So it is said. Not becoming the object of wisdom is because there is nothing deeper or more subtle than it, so no one can realize it. It cannot be expressed by words because we cannot conceive of the nature of the self, so it is separate from speech. As it says in the same text: "It is constant and without discrimination." "Whose object has not become anything, wisdom is the companion of distinctions." "They join it with words." So it is said. It means that in reality, the essence of what is to be known is emptiness, and the nature of one's own mind transcends the realm of wisdom. Although it cannot be spoken, it is only nominally explained. Meditation is also not moving from non-discriminating one-pointedness, placing the two emptinesses of inner and outer in the state of mother and child meeting, which is the same as those who think so. Now, to establish the proof that it is so: the self pervades everything because the qualities of the self, happiness and suffering, pervade everything, like the sky. Also, the self pervades everything because it is constant. If it is not pervasive, it will become impermanent, because there will be gaps in the non-pervasive place, some will come there, sometimes touching and sometimes not touching. Liberation through knowing such a state is like appearing to act and experience the results in a dream, and clinging to it as existing there, until the self is not understood.
