Those who hold the hara are called owl chicks or owls. When an owl landed on the stone lingam where the Eater of Crumbs practiced the Lord, and was taken to be the Lord, and asked if there was any substance, it became famous for flying around the six directions, starting with the head. Those who accept distinctions are called distinctionists. Those who accept intelligence are called intelligent. Here, according to its treatise: The agent is the Lord, offering to him brings happiness, the knowable is determined as the six meanings of words, knowing it brings liberation, and the four. The first also has the nature, qualities, and accomplishments of the Lord. The nature is fivefold: it is eternal, it is one, actions are done by the movement of intelligence preceding them, it is included by the gods, it is pure and worthy of offering. Eternal means existing from beginning to end, therefore there is no birth or death. One means there is only one Lord in the world. Acting with movement means doing everything including bondage and liberation, and shapes and colors. When the world is destroyed, the Lord generates the thought of wanting to manifest the world. At that time, the wind gathers the dust and creates the circle of wind, water, and piles of fire. In it, the egg of Brahma is created. From within it, Brahma, the father of all the worlds, with four faces and matted hair, sits in the center of a lotus, uttering the sounds of the four Vedas. From his mouth, the Brahmins are born, from his shoulders the Kshatriyas, from his thighs the Vaishyas, and from the soles of his feet the Shudras. Similarly, the first formation of the world, the middle existence, the final destruction, and the ultimate emptiness are all done by the Lord. Included by the gods means existing in the Paranirmitavasavartin heaven. Pure and worthy of offering means not liking dog meat etc., and giving accomplishments when offered with purity. As it is said in the Peaceful Tantra: Whoever is subtle and one, dwells in the place of birth. He causes all this to be born and destroyed. He is the supreme Lord, the god to be worshipped. The performer of qualities attains great peace. As it is said, 'Va' is the cause of va-sbra etc., crystal is the cause of all waters etc., a branch is the cause of a tree branch, so he is the cause of all embodied beings. Thus it appears. Qualities are subtlety etc.

The eight places are: hands and feet, eyes and face, and the body, doing many things and destroying things, therefore it is called minute. Wind and earth in the sky, as well as water and fire reside, gather and expand, therefore it is called light. Dominating all things, those who dwell and those who move, and doing whatever one wants, therefore it is called the master. Dependent on oneself, having autonomy, having no fear of anyone, because everything is controlled, therefore it is called controlled. Places and food, drinks, and whatever else is thought of in the mind, the mind follows without staying, therefore it is called going everywhere. Worshipped in the three worlds, because all beings worship, therefore it is worthy of worship. Courage, dust, and the three darknesses, wherever they reside, can be done simply by opening the eyes, therefore it is called having all desires. Liberation or the body of a god, whatever one desires for oneself, everything can be obtained through desire, therefore it is called dwelling in joy. Thus it is said. The argument is: these containers and contents are made by Ishvara (自在天), because trees like the Chinese catalpa have definite sizes, the sharpness of thorns has definiteness, the seasons of winter and summer stay and enter, and the actions and experiences of givers and the poor are different. If karmic results are true, then those who have Dharma but are short-lived should not kill living beings first, because they have compassion. It is reasonable for us, because they did not kill living beings, although they have compassion, but because they turned their backs on Ishvara (自在天), they are short-lived. The attached are wealthy, others harm virtuous people, non-Dharmic people are happy to see the gods, the existence of Ishvara (自在天) is obvious. The meritorious are wealthy but short-lived, those who behave badly are long-lived, the generous are poor, by seeing these, the actions of Ishvara (自在天) are obvious. Thus it is said. Obtaining a good rebirth by worshipping Ishvara (自在天) is: beings do not do other virtuous deeds, but only offer the flesh and blood of slaughtered livestock well to Ishvara (自在天), and they can become gods and humans.

Having attained status, this self that beings do not understand, suffering and happiness are not autonomous, sent by the Isvara, one will go to the heavens or the evil destinies. Thus it is said. All that is knowable are the six meanings of words, namely: substance, quality, action, generality, particularity, and combination. Thus it is said. Explaining them separately, there are two kinds of substance: permanent and impermanent. There are five kinds of permanent substance: self, time, atom, direction, and space. Among them, self is the one with knowledge, it is the nature of matter, and from understanding the meaning of dwelling in the self with intelligence, the thought "I understand" arises, just as one knows that one sees by relying on the eye seeing forms. Furthermore, "Here, the self is also the self, possessing qualities such as desire and hatred, it is the support and the all-pervading one, the enjoyer, the self is considered to be the nature of matter." Thus it is said. Therefore, although the self is permanent, the mind changes and it performs the function of qualities, so it is believed that the self will not be destroyed or become non-existent. Time is that which pervades all states of past, future, and present, it is unborn, permanent, and exists as substance. Atoms are the minute particles of earth, water, fire, and wind, possessing qualities of smell, taste, color, and touch, from four to one respectively. These minute particles are permanent, and they gather together without touching each other and begin to act, and ultimately, "Even if all things are burned by fire or broken by a hammer, only the atoms can be scattered, but they cannot be destroyed. Even when the world is destroyed, the atoms will remain empty in space." When acting, the Isvara gathers those of the same kind, thus substances with limbs such as the body arise. Direction is that which pervades all parts such as the east, it is unborn, permanent, without action, and exists as substance. Space has five qualities: it is pervasive, permanent, able to reveal, produces sound, and is an object. Among these, the first three qualities are accepted by most. Impermanent substances are the four with the elements of earth, water, fire, and wind, so there are nine in total. Qualities are twenty-four, namely: number, quantity, conjunction, separation, other, non-other, these six, and the thirteen that appear to the self, namely: eye consciousness, ear consciousness, nose consciousness, tongue consciousness.
