It is not reasonable. If it is possible to make the unclear clear, then it is not impossible for clay to become a vase. Even if you do not want the unmanifested to arise, it still exists. The example is not established, such as children, etc., their existence is not arising, and there is not even true arising. Because in conventional terms, things are a continuous series of moments, so the moment existing in the womb cannot become the moment of arising. The meeting of the two indivisible moments of existence and arising is not established. Etc. Refuting the self enjoying objects: The self that enjoys sound will constantly enjoy, because enjoyment is constant. If this is examined, it is as constant as the primary substance. Similarly, the self that does not enjoy sound will also constantly not enjoy, because not enjoying is constant. Shantideva said: "If the consciousness of sound is constant, then it will always grasp sound. If there is no object of knowledge, what will it know? And how will it be called a knower?" If ignorance is knowledge, then trees will also become knowers." As it is said. If it enjoys when sound exists and does not enjoy when it does not exist, then the self will become impermanent, because it changes according to the enjoyment and non-enjoyment of sound.Refuting hidden suffering and happiness: If suffering and happiness are hidden, then just like the suffering and happiness of another's continuum, it is unreasonable to directly experience it oneself, and if so, it will not cause benefit or harm. But here, suffering and happiness, etc., are clearly experienced, and because they are not different from the mind, they are proven through the clearest experience. As the Commentary on Valid Cognition says: "Not experiencing suffering, etc., is not the cause of suffering and benefit." And "Having the nature of that and not that, produced by the substantial cause of that and not that. Consciousness is not born from other causes, why not understand suffering and happiness, etc.?" As it is said. Refuting the hidden mind: If one's own mind is hidden from oneself, then just like examining the mind of another, one's own mind will not be able to be clearly understood, and there will be no proof of the existence of the mind, and the cognition of objects will not be established, and all conventional terms will be interrupted, so it is very unreasonable. As the Commentary on Valid Cognition says: "One's own mind and the mind of another, completely simi

become one entity. Meaning transcends the examples of knowledge, etc., being without separation and without signs. Thus it is said. Therefore, meaning is accomplished from wisdom, but in no way can it be accomplished from meaning. If that is not accomplished, then meaning itself cannot be fully accomplished. Thus it is said. To those sects that do not recognize self-awareness, because they cannot see all things, a response has been made to those who say that wisdom is not directly perceived. Thus it is said. (1) Refuting the destruction of the eon: When a pot is broken, are the pot's essence, appearance, and eon one or different? If they are different, then the appearance itself should not be the eon, because it is not the essence of the eon. If they are one, then the pot's essence should also be destroyed, because it is the same as the destroyed appearance. If the appearance is destroyed but the essence is not, then the appearance and essence become different entities, because the dharmas are contradictory, like hot touch and cold touch. Liberation is not achieved through knowledge: Merely knowing those twenty-five tattvas is not a means of liberation, because it is not the true nature of the knowable, like appearance. The person who knows those twenty-five tattvas also cannot be liberated merely through that, because he is not knowing the true nature of the knowable, like knowing appearance. In this way, the view that one's own mind is the Buddha is also refuted. Here, whatever deluded phenomena appear, in meaning there is neither purity nor impurity, therefore it is established that purity is equal, free from elaboration. Now, the tenets of the Vaisheshika school are stated: The Vaisheshikas assert liberation through six knowable things, but that is not true. The heretical Vaisheshikas believe that liberation can be attained by determining all knowable things as six categories of meaning, but that is not the true meaning, because they have embarked on a path of perversion. Here, understanding is to be achieved through establishing and refuting their tenets. First, those heretics who say that attainment is achieved by eating rice husks and practicing Ishvara, they consider the grain-eater as the teacher, Ishvara as the god, and follow the texts he taught, such as the Shanti Sutra, and can be divided into: the Ishvara school, the Owl school, the Owlet school, the Vaisheshika school, and the Rationalist school. Among them, because they consider Ishvara as the god, they are called the Ishvara school. The Owl...
