The gods of the Thirty-three (Tibetan: སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གསུམ་པ།) died from being angry at other gods, inferring that those other gods still exist, therefore, those who displease the gods of the desire realm declare impermanence, while others are permanent. Some people die from forgetting to eat because they are focused on the sights of the Thirty-three (Tibetan: སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གསུམ་པ།), inferring that those who are deceived by the gods of desire declare impermanence, while others are permanent. Some people see the four elements of the formless realm disappear, while the mind and mental factors do not disappear, inferring that the four elements are impermanent, while the mind and mental factors are permanent. All four of these people see the permanent gods as liberation, therefore they desire to attain the permanent gods. The four who assert finite and infinite are: Some people, with their supernormal knowledge, have not seen anything other than from hell to the fourth dhyana, therefore they think there is nothing beyond that, and thus declare that the self and the world are finite. Some people, although they have not seen everything, have seen the boundaries of the edge, therefore they speculate that there is also something beyond that, and thus declare that the self and the world are infinite. Some people have seen the boundary of the human world, but have not seen the boundary of the Brahma world, therefore they declare both finite and infinite. Some people have seen the Brahma world, but infer that it cannot be measured by finite or infinite, therefore they declare that the self and the world are neither finite nor infinite. The four who assert that they do not abandon the gods are: Previously, in a certain place of the heretics, others argued with us, and if we refuted them, we would say that we do not abandon the gods, thus making a vow, which is divided into four due to the difference of four kinds of intelligence: When a person with little wisdom is asked what your view is, he answers that he does not know others, that is, he does not abandon the gods. When a person who has not studied the tenets is asked, he also answers that he does not know others, that is, he does not abandon the gods. Even those who have studied but have no certainty also say that they do not abandon the gods. When a person who is proud of his realization is asked, he also thinks that no one can answer, therefore he says that he does not abandon the gods. There are two views that assert no cause: relying on meditation and relying on reason. The first is that some people who have died and been reborn from the unconscious beings in the past have not seen the Alaya consciousness (Tibetan: ཀུན་གཞི་,Sanskrit Devanagari: आलय,Sanskrit Romanization: ālaya, Chinese literal meaning: the basis of everything) because it is extremely subtle, and they think that it arises from the non-existence of their own six aggregates, therefore they declare that all the worlds arise without cause. That is to say, the dust of the container world does not have

Relying on reasoning, it is like seeing clouds suddenly appearing in the sky, or a sudden gust of wind, and inferring that there is no cause. Regarding the extreme views of the future, there are forty-four types, divided into five

If one diligently practices meditation, one can attain Nirvana in this very life. By diligently meditating on the Samadhi of each of the first, second, third, and fourth Dhyanas, it is said that one can attain Nirvana in that very life. This is also the belief that there are no past or future lives. Regarding the refutation of these: Those who say permanence are refuted by refuting permanence and reality. The Sutra also says: Because they say that all Dharmas are permanent, they will be born in the hell of the wheel of fire, and after death, they will be born as ghouls who eat corpses for three hundred lifetimes. Even if they are reborn as humans, they will be born as slaves. Some schools that say permanence are also refuted by refuting permanence and reality. The Sutra says: Some who say permanence will be born in a hell as dark as a forest fire, and after death, they will be born as ghouls who eat vomit hundreds of times, and then be reborn as animals that eat leftovers. Those who say infinity are refuted by secrecy, so I will not elaborate here. There are three refutations of those who say both finite and infinite: The whole is not established, just as the edge of a garment is covered by one garment. The edge and center are only covered by one whole. The general refutation is because one whole is not established. The dust of the edge is not established because the edge itself cannot exist anywhere, because all things are pervaded by parts, and outside of all parts with parts there are others. Not refuting infinity, because the world being finite itself is very unreasonable, because space pervades everything, and the world is also pervaded, and there is no obstruction. Abandoning gods and humans is also refuted because coarse dust has no parts, and subtle moments have no parts, so gods and humans cannot exist. No cause is because for the sprout that exists now, the warmth and moisture that complete the collection are obvious matter, and it is established by valid cognition that consciousness existed before the consciousness that exists now. Regarding the boundary of the afterlife, in general, consciousness cannot be permanent, because it clings to certain objects. There is no form because the subtle, indivisible dust is not established. It is impossible to always be happy, because it is sometimes there and sometimes not. It is the same with constant suffering. It is impossible to be one, because the things that pervade are different. It is impossible to be different, because time and before and after are not allowed. Size is not allowed because there are no parts.
