མས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཐོབ། །ཅེས་པ་དང༌། མྱ་ངན་ལས་འདས་པ་ལས། ཆོས་ཉན་པ་ལས་དད་པ་སྐྱེའོ། །དད་པས་ཕ་རོལ་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་པ་དྲུག་ལ་མོས་ནས་མྱུར་དུ་མངོན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་སངས་རྒྱ་བའི་བར་དུ་ཐོབ་པས། དག་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཐོབ་པ་ནི་ཐོས་པའི་རྒྱུ་ལས་བྱུང་བའོ། ། ཉོན་མོངས་པས་མྱོས་ཏེ་སྡིག་པ་མང་དུ་བྱེད་པར་འདོད་པ་ཡང་ཐོས་པའི་ལྕགས་ཀྱུས་མོད་ལ་འདུལ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཚོང་པ་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་གླིང་གི་ལམ་མི་ཤེས་པ་དག་ཀྱང་གཞན་གྱིས་ལམ་བསྟན་ཏེ་སོང་ན་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་མང་དུ་ལེན་ཏོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་དགེ་བའི་བཤེས་གཉེན་དང་སངས་རྒྱས་དང་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་ཐོས་པ་དམ་པའི་ལམ་བསྟན་པ་དེར་ཞུགས་ཏེ་སོང་ན། སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ལེན་པའི་དོན་འགྲུབ་བོ་ཞེས་པ་དང༌། ཟ་མ་ཏོག་བཀོད་པའི་མདོ་ལས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། རིགས་ཀྱི་བུའམ་རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་མོ་གང་ལ་ལ་ཞིག་ཐེག་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་མདོ་སྡེ་ཟ་མ་ཏོག་བཀོད་པ་འདིའི་ཚིགས་སུ་བཅད་པ་གཅིག་ཉན་པ་དང༌། འཛིན་པ་དང༌། འཆང་བ་དང༌།ཀློག་པ་དང༌། ཀུན་ཆུབ་པ་དང༌། ཚུལ་བཞིན་དུ་ཡིད་ལ་བྱེད་པའི་བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱི་ཕུང་པོ་བགྲང་བ་དང་ཚད་གཟུང་བར་མི་ནུས་སོ། །དཔེར་ན་ས་ཆེན་པོ་འདི་རྡུལ་ཕྲ་རབ་ཏུ་བསིལ་བའི་ཚད་གཟུང་བར་ནུས་སྲིད་ཀྱི། ཐེག་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་མདོ་སྡེ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཟ་མ་ཏོག་ཐོས་པའི་བསོད་ནམས་ནི་བགྲང་བར་མི་ནུས་སོ། ། དཔེར་ན་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ཆེན་པོ་འདི་ཆུ་ཐིགས་པ་རེ་རེ་ནས་བགྲང་བར་ནུས་སྲིད་ཀྱི། མདོ་སྡེ་ཟ་མ་ཏོག་བཀོད་པ་འདིའི་ཚིགས་སུ་བཅད་པ་གཅིག་བཟུང་བའི་བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱི་ཕུང་པོའི་ཚད་ནི་བགྲང་བར་མི་ནུས་སོ། །རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་ཐེག་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་མདོ་སྡེའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཟ་མ་ཏོག་བཀོད་པ་འདིས་ནི་སྡིག་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་སྲེག་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །གང་འདི་ཐོས་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་དེ་དག་ནི་བདེ་བ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཡིན་ཏེ། རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་དེ་དག་ནི་སོ་སོ་སྐྱེ་བོ་མ་ཡིན་པར་རིག་པར་བྱའོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཕྱིར་མི་ལྡོག་པ་དང་འདྲ་བར་བལྟའོ། །དེ་དག་འཆི་བའི་ཚེ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་བཅུ་གཉིས་བྱོན་ནས་རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་མ་འཇིགས་ཤིག དེ་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་ཞེ་ན། ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ཐེག་པ་ཆེན་པོ་འདི་ཐོས་པས་སོ། །དེ་ཐོས་པས་ཁྱོད་སླར་འཁོར་བར་མི་འཁོར་ཞིང༌། སྐྱེ་བ་དང༌། རྒས་པ་དང༌། ན་བ་དང༌། འཆི་བ་མཐོང་བར་མི་འགྱུར་རོ། །དགའ་ཞིང་འདོད་པའི་དོན་དང་འཕྲད་ལ། མི་དགའ་ཞིང་མི་འདོད་པ་དང་འཕྲད་པར་མི་འགྱུར་རོ། །རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་

一切有情皆得菩提！如是等语。从涅槃中说：听闻佛法能生起信心，以信心爱乐六度波罗蜜，乃至迅速现证菩提之间，获得一切清净善法，皆由听闻之因所生。被烦恼所醉，想要造作诸多罪业者，亦能以听闻之铁钩迅速调伏。如同商人不识珍宝岛屿之路，若由他人指路而去，则能获得诸多珍宝。如是，依止善知识、佛陀及菩萨所开示之听闻正道，并依之而行，则能成就获得佛陀珍宝之义。如是说。出自《萨玛托噶波德经》中，世尊如是说：善男子或善女子，若有听闻、受持、读诵、通达、如理作意此大乘经典《萨玛托噶波德》之一偈者，其所获之福德聚，是无法计数与衡量的。譬如，此大地可被分解为微尘并加以衡量，然听闻大乘经典、珍宝之王《萨玛托噶》所获之福德，则无法计数。譬如，此大海之水滴可逐一计数，然受持《萨玛托噶波德经》之一偈所获之福德聚之量，亦无法计数。善男子，此大乘经典之王《萨玛托噶波德》能焚烧一切罪业。凡听闻此经之有情，皆得安乐。善男子，当知彼等非凡夫俗子，应视彼等如同不退转之菩萨。彼等临终之时，有十二如来降临并说：善男子，莫畏惧！为何如此说？因汝听闻此大乘经典之故。听闻此经故，汝将不再轮回，亦不会再见生、老、病、死。将遇悦意与所欲之事，亦不会再遇不悦意与不欲之事。善男子

May all sentient beings attain enlightenment! Thus it is said. From Nirvana it is said: Faith arises from listening to the Dharma. Through faith, one delights in the six perfections, and until one swiftly attains complete enlightenment, all pure and virtuous qualities are obtained, arising from the cause of listening. Even those intoxicated by afflictions and desiring to commit many sins can be quickly subdued by the iron hook of listening. Just as merchants who do not know the way to the island of jewels can obtain many jewels if guided by others. Similarly, if one follows the path of listening taught by virtuous friends, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas, one will accomplish the meaning of obtaining the jewel of Buddhahood. Thus it is said. From the Samatogabodhi Sutra, the Blessed One said: Any son or daughter of good family who hears, holds, recites, understands, and properly contemplates even one verse of this Mahayana sutra, the Samatogabodhi, the accumulation of merit cannot be counted or measured. For example, this great earth could be broken down into atoms and measured, but the merit of hearing the Mahayana sutra, the king of jewels, Samatoga, cannot be counted. For example, the drops of water in this great ocean could be counted one by one, but the measure of the accumulation of merit from holding one verse of the Samatogabodhi Sutra cannot be counted. Son of good family, this king of Mahayana sutras, the Samatogabodhi, burns all sins. Those sentient beings who hear this are happy. Son of good family, know that they are not ordinary beings, but should be regarded as irreversible Bodhisattvas. At the time of their death, twelve Tathagatas will come and say: Son of good family, do not be afraid! Why is this said? Because you have heard this Mahayana. Because you have heard this, you will not be reborn in samsara again, and you will not see birth, old age, sickness, and death. You will meet with pleasant and desirable things, and you will not meet with unpleasant and undesirable things. Son of good family.
