Great Self-Mastery! The sky of pure nature and the sky of pure Dharma-nature, the three Kayas of self-knowing, non-conceptual Dharma-body are inseparable, therefore it is emptiness and non-conceptual, which is called the unconditioned state. Self-knowing, clear wisdom, and the clear manifestation of the four elements are: Self-nature is unceasing, manifesting as radiance. Manifestation is appearance, but without self-nature. Emptiness is invisible, also without self-nature. Inseparability is Great Self-Mastery. The measure of proficiency is: Awareness does not go under the power of conditions, conceptual thoughts are cut off, and characteristics are suppressed. Warm signs arise involuntarily, transforming the conditioned realms into great pure lands, and prophecies of qualities arise in sequence. To the Guru, Yidam, and Dakini, rely on the sounds of reality and arising, thereby generating certainty in the continuum. So on and so forth. If these are summarized into practical instructions, there are: Recognizing the face of Dharma-nature through three methods of learning, cultivating the clear light within oneself through three objects of learning, and grasping the signs and measures of its realization through three levels of proficiency. First, in the first aspect, one must first rely on the leisure of body, speech, and mind, establish the foundation on three immovabilities, and manifest it through three key points. The first is: Body, speech, and mind do nothing, say nothing, and think nothing, relax, therefore there is a need to harmonize the winds and mind. The second is eye-wind, making it immovable by focusing on three awarenesses, therefore there is a need for the clear light to manifest directly. In the third aspect, there are three: like a king ascending the throne, ministers being imprisoned, and the populace being subdued. The first is: With the meaning of the six bindus, showing the combination of three appearances, observing with three ways of looking, namely: the key point of the object is in the empty space, the key point of the door (eye) is in the unmoving way of looking, and the key point of awareness is in looking without distraction. Thus, the awareness in the heart, like a king, its self-radiance manifests in the sky, focusing on this. The self-radiance of the door manifests clearly and transparently, therefore the key point is to clearly recognize the self-manifestation as pure, grasping the awareness of emptiness and abiding. Imprisoning the ministers is: At this time, the key point of the wind is to slowly hold it outwards and practice, this is the key point of the natural cessation of thoughts. First hold outwards, then slowly inhale, allowing the breath to slowly settle in its own natural state within, naturally abiding. Because of holding outwards, one focuses even more on the inner, abiding in non-conceptual clear light. This is the crucial key point here.

Subduing the populace means: settling in the self-sound of the realm of awareness, without distraction. The five sense consciousnesses, by their nature uncreated, naturally liberate and are subdued. The color of light, like minister-like bindus, are also subdued within awareness, this is the key to subduing the populace. The manner of looking does not waver, the breath is slow, by the key of awareness being clear and undistracted, luminosity actually arises, and is recognized as the self-sound of awareness. Settling awareness in the eye, the clear, empty, and pure awareness arises, recognize it. Since the door is in emptiness, settling there, awareness arises in emptiness, this is the key. Three to be learned: Having recognized in this way, in the state of non-fabrication, the sound of self-luminosity, the nature of impartiality and equality, these three are inseparable, and should be constantly practiced. Three levels of familiarity: Having practiced in this way, awareness does not go under the power of conditions, conceptual thoughts cease, and characteristics are suppressed, these three arise naturally, this is the measure of constancy. These commitments are taught in the instructions of the precious oral teachings. Third, conduct abandoning clinging, there are fifteen categories. To be explained by two commitments, at the time of meditative equipoise, the view abides in the nature of reality. Conduct without acceptance or rejection, without grasping at characteristics, is conduct of the meaning of the nature of reality. Clear but without conceptualization, is the conduct of self-aware wisdom. Without effort or accomplishment, is the conduct of the meaning of the view. Not moving from the natural state, is the conduct of the meaning of the view. Not straying from the self-sound, is the conduct of the meaning of the result, acting without difference in the face of awareness. Subsequent attainment has two aspects, acting in the play of self-benefit and the nature of reality. Remembering the experience of meditative equipoise in post-meditation, conduct is acting with the mind. Not following after the speech of oneself and others, naturally acting in emptiness in its own place. Acting with everything as unreal, is the conduct of the three doors self-liberating. Without identifying with anything, is conduct without clinging. Acting with whatever appears, without making discriminations. Acting spontaneously in emptiness, is conduct without memory. Without attachment or clinging to anything, is conduct without attachment. Not intentionally blocking the three doors. Not intentionally fabricating emptiness, emptiness arises naturally, acting without pursuit, with non-duality, merging the grasper and grasped and appearance-mind into the nature of reality. Other-benefit great compassion
