In summary, by mastering the key points of the far-reaching gaze, the king is seated on the throne, understood as seated with the wind extremely calm; the ministers are imprisoned; awareness is directed towards the expanse of awareness, and the populace is subdued. By restraining the manner of looking and the gaze, awareness becomes clear from within, and the wind-mind is pacified. The object of focus and grasping are liberated. This teaches the instructions on the Dharmakaya abiding in its own state. These are the three secret methods of training. Secondly, what is to be trained in are: essence purity, nature, and self-nature. Essence purity is when the eyes are directed towards the sky, awareness is purified into emptiness, and abiding in the self-radiance of non-thought is called the essence of the Dharmakaya. When the eyes are directed towards light, awareness is purified into self-illumination, and the clear light appears as insubstantial, this is called nature manifesting as the Sambhogakaya. When the eyes are directed towards rays of light, meditation is purified into natural ease, and through unobstructed penetration into the natural liberation of non-duality, it is purified into non-grasping compassion, this is called the great self-nature. In essence, what is to be trained in are the three: essence, nature, and compassion, and the intention of the three kayas abiding in their own state. Thirdly, the measure of proficiency is: when the mother and child of reality meet, self-awareness reaches its end, consciousness does not go under the power of conditions, conceptual thought delights in self-liberation, the bonds of negation and affirmation are severed, the four times abide in reality, and since the expanse of awareness is inseparable, the outer appearance of clear light manifests as body and wisdom, completely purified. Appearance and existence manifest as pure lands, thereby making the three kayas the path. The clear light of inner awareness is transformed into strength, thereby the eyes and clairvoyance are clear. Intention is free from session breaks. Self-awareness is liberated into spontaneous accomplishment, thereby the three channels converge into one. The inner expanse is without change. The two benefits are spontaneously accomplished, this is reaching the measure, that is, the ultimate meaning. Temporarily, meditation is stable, grasping and clinging are liberated, experiences and appearances increase, the lama and dakinis bestow blessings and give prophecies, etc., thereby the meaning beyond hope and fear, acceptance and rejection, is made manifest. These are the meditations of spontaneous breakthrough (thod rgal), because there is no turning back from the meditations of the sharp, medium, and dull faculties, it is called the latter being swift, thereby purifying the delusion of grasping and clinging to samsara, the essential point of the instructions for swiftly liberating is of great importance. That is to say, the sharp faculty is liberated through the confidence of realizing the channels of habitual patterns, the medium faculty through the channels of light in the bardo

One is liberated in the middle. Ultimately, one is born in the realm of emanation. At the very latest, one will be liberated without delay beyond the next life. These are also from the explanatory tantras: Because the meaning of not needing to meditate is shown, the methods of training, what is to be trained, and the extent of familiarity, are summarized into three aspects and shown. The methods of training are shown in three aspects: outer, inner, and secret. The outer is the expanse of body, speech, and mind; abandoning activity and abiding. The inner is closing the wind-gates of the channels, abiding in the bindu of self-originated space. Initially, the existence of the body forms; the eastern channel and the channel knots become the navel. From this, channels branch out, and the body's pores arise. From this, the internal organs and so forth grow. From this, there is breath, and conceptual thoughts arise. Therefore, the channel itself is a sign; whatever appears, look directly at your own appearance without engaging in conceptual thoughts. Because the sign does not move, the power does not change. Without associating with power, even wind and mind, one cannot realize by leaving them in their own state. Do not look for faults in that wind and mind; with wind, the wisdom of realization increases. By means of skillful non-conceptualization, abide in your own state. There are three methods of secret training: the kings are placed on their thrones, the ministers are imprisoned, and the people are naturally subdued. Alas! Vajra-holder, hold well! The king is the self-knowing wisdom, the pure dharmakaya. The throne is the naturally pure sky, appearing as a place. That is the sky of the dharmadhatu, stable without solidity. The meaning of that, free from imprints, is the awareness of the completely pure dharmadhatu, the throne where wisdom resides. Now, combine it with the lamp of bodhichitta, the nature of water, pure and clear. That is also the posture of abiding, and the loving-kindness of appearance, for example, the hawk makes its abode inside a mountain rock, staying at the nest's entrance. Likewise, the self-knowing wisdom abides in the citta, examining the essence of its own essence, the eye is completely clear. That is the all-ground, the mirror-like wisdom, clear and transparent. Therefore, the bindu of the completely pure dharmadhatu is the lamp of water. Why? As mentioned above, the appearance of wisdom is clear as light. Then, it is the water that gathers without moisture. The appearance of wisdom residing on that throne is the bindu of great wisdom, because it is clear without obstruction, it is the movement without the wind stirring. Awareness is the essence of wisdom.
