Having offered the land, he perfected the teachings through practice for a year. He gave this to the wise Nyium. He gave this to the Dharma Lord Jo Ö. He gave this to Sengge Gyabpa. He gave this to Dawa Munsal. He gave this to the Dharma Lord Kumaradza. Furthermore, in Nyangtö, he purely consulted with Lama Yeshe Gön. From the son of the accomplished Chegom Nagpo, there is also a lineage with many branches. He was asked by various Mahayoga practitioners of Omniscient Self-Liberation, and with joy, he completely bestowed the example lineage along with the oral instructions. In the oral lineage, Chetsun Sengge Wangchuk, seeing Shongpa Repa as a worthy vessel, spoke to him. He, seeing Zabtön Chöbar as fortunate, spoke to him. He, knowing Dampa Gyer Tön Tenpai Dakpo as virtuous, spoke to him. He spoke to Kyeme Chökyab. He spoke to Gyer Tön Jo Ö. Ngentön Sherab Tsemö heard from both the father and son. The near lineage is drawn as one, while the distant lineage is drawn separately. When Ngentön went to Ü, Rinpoche Yönten Gangpa asked him. Seeing him as capable, he completely bestowed all the instructions, unlocked the seal, entrusted the teachings, and acted based on his words for the benefit of beings. Therefore, Yönten Gangpa became known as "Buddha in Hand." After that, Lama Namkha Dorje asked, and he said he was capable. After that, the kind Rinpoche Kumaradza asked. Also, Rigdzin Lama asked Yönten Gangpa's younger brother, the monk. The great Yönten Gangpa said, "You have been told to entrust the lineage," and he was very pleased, bestowing the oral instructions along with the oral transmissions. After that, I, Omniscient Natshok Rangdröl, asked, and completed the empowerments, instructions, and teachings. In this precious lineage, there is no break in the connection with the actual Buddha, so the blessing of the oral transmission is unbroken. Because there is evidence from tantras, scriptures, and pith instructions, it is not tainted by partiality or self-deception. Because the lineage of pure samaya is unbroken, it is not contaminated by the defilement of those who break their vows. Because the lineage of accomplished ones is unbroken, the swift path to attaining supreme and common siddhis in this life is uninterrupted. The second meaning is that in order to establish the profound and vast key points of ripening liberation, there are the seven vajra places, namely, self.

Thus, the state of the basis, the confused state of sentient beings due to ignorance, the state of mind during confusion, the state of manifestation through the practice of instructions, the definitive categories of other dharmas, the instructions on the key points of the bardo, and the state of accomplishment of the ultimate key points of the result are shown. The first has three aspects: the nature of the basis and the way it abides, the self-perfected nature of the basis's appearance, and the manifestation of compassion's play. The first has six aspects: essence, definition, characteristic, division, example, and refutation of others. The essence of the basis is that it is not established in either samsara or nirvana, but it becomes the basis for the manifestation of anything. It is the unimpeded, self-arising wisdom, the unobstructed, clear, vast, all-encompassing, mirror-like wisdom of the alaya. As the Explanatory Tantra, the Great All-Illuminating Bindu says: 'Since all of samsara and nirvana appear from it, it is the basis.' The essence is clear, unimpeded, and transparent, without obscurations, so it is the mirror-like wisdom of the alaya. So it is said. The definition is also said in the same text: 'Because it is the source of all, it is called the basis.' So it is said. The characteristic is that the dharmakaya, the essence of the basis, is the inseparable intention of the five wisdoms. As the Explanatory Tantra says: 'The characteristic is the five wisdoms.' So it is said. The divisions are essence, nature, and compassion. The essence is emptiness, the dharmakaya is stainless and transparent. The nature is clarity, the sambhogakaya is spontaneously perfect and crystal clear. The compassion is awareness, the two kayas abide unimpededly as the nirmanakaya. Because the essence is emptiness, it is not established as things or characteristics. Because the nature is clarity, the appearance of the basis and the way it manifests are unimpeded. Because of the compassion of awareness, the five kayas, without mudras, are self-illuminating, and the outward manifestation can be seen by those to be trained. Because the essence abides as the dharmakaya, it is the support for the two rupakayas. Because the nature exists as speech, in the realm of luminosity, it self-appears as the self-sound of dharmata. Because compassion is known in the mind, the knowledge of the three wisdoms is unimpeded. In the self-arising awareness of the wisdom of the basis, knowing that essence, nature, and compassion are complete, in the five wisdoms that grasp characteristics, knowing that the unimpeded, clear intention arises spontaneously, in the all-pervading wisdom of objects, knowing that it is unmixed and complete. From what does the basis arise? In the time of the essence's natural state, it arises as the basis of kaya and wisdom. In the time of unimpeded manifestation, it arises as the alaya of ultimate meaning, all of samsara and nirvana are the power of awareness.
